Awful customer service and sizes not right

I'm so disappointed and would want anyone else who wants to order from here to be aware too. I ordered a top following the size guide and went with M. Loved it, fit correctly and wore it out. Unfortunately it kept riding up and I checked the reviews of the product and a few others shared the same feedback so reached out to customer service thinking they would be helpful. I essentially got told that the product was too small for me and I need to ensure I always carefully look at the size guide before ordering as their sizes differ. Honestly, so unhelpful. I checked the size guide, tried it on a few times around the house and it fit really well. Totally admit I should have read the reviews before ordering myself however, I saw Grace Beverly showcase the top, she has similar bust size to me and was inspired/excited and thought why not! Customer service did not budge and wouldn't offer me an exchange either. Avoid if you can or just be super mindful and vigilant before you do.

Bad quality - Cocoon Zip Through Hoodie

I only recently came across Tala and ordered the Cocoon Zip Through Hoodie on 1 March. It arrived on 5 March and I’ve only worn it twice, yet it’s already pilling badly on the inside. The fabric is shedding to the point that there were little balls left on my top which I had to wipe off, and I even found some on the floor in my bedroom.

I’m really disappointed, especially given how heavily this hoodie is promoted in their advertising. I expected much better quality. It’s also interesting there wasn’t an option to leave a review on their site.

With our fleece hoodies, some shedding may occur. To minimise this, we recommend washing before the first wear. A great tip is to pop it inside an old pillowcase, inside out, when in the wash.

I was in touch with Khadija and they were super helpful from the very first email. Something went wrong during the shipping of one of my orders (first time as I have ordered from TALA before).

Can’t fault the customer service EVER

I honestly can’t fault the customer service. I’ve always had super fast responses and also great resolutions to an queries or issues. I’ve previously dealt with CS via email and instagram with no issues and used their WhatsApp chat for the first time recently. Awful customer service

Awful customer service unfortunately. Back in Dec, I ordered one of their puffer coats during the sales. The item arrived damaged, one of the button poppers had completely broken off, they didn’t have any more stock of the coat in a small size so I couldn’t exchange it either. I either had to pay almost £120 and keep a damaged jacket or return it. Of course, when you order an item, your intention is for it to arrive brand new and for you to keep it. I had a constant back and forth with Tala because I was happy to keep the coat (this would be more sustainable - something the brand claims to be but they aren’t) if they were able to partially refund it as I didn’t think it was fair to pay full price for a damaged item I really wanted without the option to exchange it. The ‘most’ they could do or offer me was £15 off which I thought was absolutely ridiculous.

Through no fault of my own, I received a damaged coat that I was unable to exchange due to stock issues. On top of that, I was happy to keep the damaged coat as this would be a more sustainable option if they were able to provide me with a reasonable partial refund (they thought £15 was a fair reflection of the damage which I don’t agree with).

After a few weeks of back and forth, I was forced to return the item, my query was raised to a senior and she stopped responding to me!!! Absolutely terrible service and wouldn’t advise buying from them. Please read their website, they claim to be sustainable and customer centric but in my case, did not care about either. Such a disappointing experience.

Jade is amazing!

Jade was so helpful and so quick to find me a resolution. I contacted the live chat because my leggings has worn and got a hole (quicker than expected) and Jade very kindly prompted an exchange and took care of everything. Amazing customer service!!
