Online evaluations seem way higher than what is actually going to be offered onsite.
I am updating my review for the simple fact that the company actually called me and wanted to know why I was dissatisfied and how they could do better. That means a lot.
In our discussion, I found that the online evaluation is for any customer in the US. That means that a vehicle in Florida is getting the same as mine in Ohio. Well, the vehicle in FL is more than likely not going to have rust and the vehicle in OH will more than likely have rust. I recommended asking more questions on their online evaluation. Maybe even asking for some pictures. I believe this is key in when you walk in the door that your online evaluation is somewhat closer to the take home price. He agreed.
So hopefully this happens in the near future.
Again, a personal phone call is a great business model. Most will only respond to emails.

Never again.
Wasn’t too bad of an experience, was very picky about thing, and basically tried to insult me with my truck and the price they gave me, And didn’t get much for the vehicle like they originally told me. Got some money for it, but not what they offered. Will never use them again and will never recommend them to anyone. So please steer clear of this place! Use another company like peddle or copart buys vehicles! Will be waiting for a phone call from this place to try and make things right and they will never make it right with me!

We have a standardized appraisal process that includes physical and mechanical checks, running the vehicle history on Experian or CARFAX, and checking OBDII diagnostics for any engine or drivetrain issues. We aim to provide a fast, safe, and fair alternative to selling privately or trading in and we're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the valuation estimate you received.
Condition is critical when it comes to valuing a used vehicle, especially an older, high-mileage vehicle like this. We're not concerned with minor dents and scratches and most of these minor issues carry zero impact when we make you an offer, but like any buyer, we are looking out for problems likely to hurt the resale value. Unfortunately, the biggest issues we found during the appraisal were the illuminated check engine light and the accident history reported on CARFAX.

2005 Pontiac Grand Prix
I sold a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car is 17 years old and I believe that I put the correct info online. I received a quote for $1995. When I went to your location, the salesperson said it was worth around $900 because of the frame. This car was never in a major accident. What should a 17 year old frame look like? He asked what I would accept for it. I was pretty disappointed and said $1500. He offered $1300 which I accepted. This was not how I thought it would go and I came home really disappointed.
