I don’t think I’ve ever had an easier time selling my vehicle. The branch manager was very kind and helpful. The entire process only took about an hour and was quite fair. I will absolutely be contacting them in the future and would highly recommend them.

Horrible Salesperson
Brought my vehicle in. The clerk says that it went to Germany so that lowers the value. Now to add to this I was in Germany with the military. So it was on a military installation and doesn't get changed to Euro Specs. I informed the person about this and they inturn say well the speedometer could be in Kilometers. I inform him again it hasn't been changed and that it's in both miles and kilometer like alot of vehicles.
He then says he will have to call someone to see if being on a military base makes a difference. I'm sorry since when does that matter. All the things he's worried about have been shown to be not affecting my vehicle (Emmision Standards and Speedometer in Miles). So where is the issue. Was lowering my sell value before he even looked at my truck.
I would never recommend to anyone.

In addition, because there is a required disclosure, dealers (or buyers) who have not done their due diligence will tend to stay away from a vehicle with a foreign history, thus lowering its resale value.

Fair and honest
I previously contacted another source to sell my car. Not only was thier offer negatedwhen I went to sell the car, but the individual negotiating the offer, was condicending and refused to explain how they arrived at the price.
The representative at We Buy Any Car contacted me several times in the days prior to be sure I was still coming and had all the information and paperwork I would need to complete the transaction. They were kind, explained everything on detail and I ended up with more money than if I had gone with the first dealer. As a single, female, senior citizen I appreciated the effort and the honesty of We Buy Any Car.

Price quoted wasn’t what we got paid once we got to we buy any cars. Deductions were ridiculous! Girl who handled paperwork didn’t understand the documents and was not happy with us asking questions. Very unprofessional.

While we do provide an online valuation for the convenience of our customers, this is an estimate based on the limited information you share with us and is not an offer. Like any professional buyer, we always carry out a detailed appraisal of the vehicle before we make an offer. This includes physical and mechanical checks, running vehicle history with a provider such as CARFAX, and checking engine and drivetrain diagnostics using an OBDII reader.
This check also tells us if the OBDII codes have been recently reset. In this case, the codes were reset 30 miles before the physical appraisal. From experience, customers often reset OBDII codes hoping to hide underlying problems with the car, hence, we have to value the car with the expectation that a problem may be revealed after several stop/start cycles. We are usually able to waive this deduction if you can provide documented proof of why the OBDII codes were reset, for example, fitting a new battery.
We have recently launched a business in Utah and our team is undergoing extra training to improve our service levels. The issues with the service levels that you describe are definitely not what we want for our customers and not what you should expect from webuyanycar.com.
