Webuybooks are very good at accepting nearly all the books I send.
Not all ways the top prices, but generally a quick payment system.

Being able to instantly value books and build a box for sale was very helpful. We were paid the amount agreed promptly. It's a really helpful service. I would have given 5 stars but for 3 things. 1. Many of my books, purchased as new paperbacks, were only valued at 20p. I removed these from the basket and donated them. 2. It is more difficult to value books without a barcode, I hope they find a way of overcoming this. 3. The Evri delivery hub we were directed to do not print labels like the one we were sent and we had to take the parcel home, sort the label out and then take it back for sending. Maybe the labels can be changed so all Evri places can print them? Small things to improve, but overall a good service and we will be using it again.

A straightforward service. Books into box and post office picked up and a couple of days later the money was in my bank.

One star is too many!! Sent a few boxes and received the payment I expected with no problems. Then I sent a larger consignment including some more high value books (one quite rare). Lo and behold, some of the books they’d agreed to buy and I had definitely packed were apparently ‘missing’ and others were ‘damaged’ and I would not receive the amount they’d initially quoted. All the books I’d ever sent were in very good or excellent condition and it could hardly be a coincidence that it was the higher value books that were ‘damaged’ and the rare one that was ‘missing’. This is blatant out and out criminality; I’d go so far as to say theft. They pay out on your first consignments to get you hooked and then start coming up with excuses not to. What a great business model, rare books for free! And just bear in mind they will refuse to prove the ‘damage’ to you or even return what is YOUR property (they told me these books would be pulped. As if!!) and as for proving that a book I know I included is somehow ‘missing’…how do you do that? Well done on whoever came up with this scam at We Steal Books. I no longer buy their books from any online platform and be aware they sell under different names. They need investigating by Trading Standards at the very least. Be warned.

An easy, user friendly site,

Quick and efficient

We send them books, cds and dvds where they offer a reasonable price. However, the number of items they accept is reducing as is the amount paid.
We use Royal Mail to collect our parcels and this works very well. The parcels arrive quickly and we are paid promptly.

Used we buy books for years without issues but recently had most of the offers rejected after sending for reasons that they wouldn't provide evidence for it happened about 5 times in a row and when I tried to give feedback rather than a bad review was treated in a really patronising manner

Really easy process from start to end, great way to reuse books you had lying around and a bit of extra income always helps

Good communication. Fast turnaround

I sent off a lot of books that were literally scanned and packed straight away into boxes. The amount of books from each box they claim to have “not received” is ridiculous. It’s basically robbery. I have used other book selling sites and not had this issue.
