My experience with the program is that it is great at teaching me to balance my food choices. I love that it doesn’t restrict what I can eat but also teaches me healthier options for the foods I love. My only complaint is that the app is getting a little too overloaded and not as user friendly.

Getting scheduled for telehealth visit with clinician was a breeze and she actually talked with me as she really cared about me and my opinion. Though the shot was not covered by my insurance policy, she got me started on Metformin so I could get my weight loss journey started and then step up when I can afford the shot out of pocket!! Highly recommend!!

There’s nothing as good as an in person workshop and the one I attend is fortunately, fantastic! Time and location work for me but if I’m unable to attend the one meeting… uh oh, no back up option other than a virtual (better than nothing) which doesn’t live up to an inperson experience. In person = motivation, valuable tips & pointers as well as being with like minded people!
The downside is that WW has only 1 in person weekly workshop available here.
Regarding the app - I’m not sure about the new app. It’s not as user friendly as it could have been but the true concern is that their food database is often incorrect. I realize manufacturers change the nutritional information often; however, I think with the heavy focus on macros, protein etc., it would be incumbent on WW to make certain that 9 out of 10 items are correct. They are not. I rarely get the correct nutritional information when scanning a food item. I like to scan before I buy and creating the food item in-store can be problematic - plus if it’s something I personally find too high in point value, I don’t want to buy it. Thankfully the app allows for the creation of food with corrected information but this doesn’t work with zero point foods. I cannot create a correct protein macro smoked turkey serving while keeping calories accurate and keeping it zero points, for example. Beautiful app but with incorrect data I find it difficult to give the app it’s pluses.
Thankfully WW still does the points system and we can still lose weight or just get healthier using this system alone yet WW’s current advertising mainly features the GLP1 - great but not something everyone can do so WW needs to put a bit more of the advertising budget toward the system sans medication. Both avenues toward weight loss are valuable!The beauty of WW.

bad experience with my doctor. she has missed 2/2 video visits. I have side affects, and she is only giving me chat answers that seem copy and pasted and nothing specialized to my experience.

I’m loving the new app that focused on protein, fiber and water. I have been reading much of the information on the app and find it quite helpful. Started the weight training and strength building videos and find them quite good. I have a peloton and appreciate the focused and short (typically 20 min or less) workout. Love that!
One recommendation, is making the point value more visible on the meals. I often have to go to the food item to determine how many points are included. Other than that, I’m loving it!

It is not very clear on how you decided we have weeklies of 23 points , and how the points are calculated. when you take a picture of the food, it does give lot of points , way different from if you entered each item individually.
