When White & Sons came to value our house we were given some facts and statistics that naturally you are a bit sceptical of...however, we had an amazing experience with them from start to finish!
We had a steady stream of viewings from the week our house went on the market, and we sold for asking price within 7 weeks.
Everyone who we worked with was super helpful, friendly and responsive, and I would like to give a special thank you to Lucy for being great the whole way through the process, especially at the end when everything is getting tied up with the chain and dates etc.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend White & Sons to anyone in the Horley area who is looking to sell their house. They are definitely much better than their competitors, based on our previous experiences!

Cedric and his team have been amazing from start to completion. We chose to go with White and Sons as they were not pushy at all and gave an honest input when evaluating our property. We had a few estate agents (we feel) really devalue our property when recommending a price to sell for. Cedric came round and supported our choice of what we’d like to accept & put our property up for and after photos being taken we sold with in a week and half of it being up. Absolutely over the moon with the service and we will most definitely go back to them if we go through the process again. Communication was amazing, always keeping us up to date. Always easy to get hold of if we had any questions & never felt like we were bothering them. I have recommended to a few people already in the surrounding area, one who has already got their house up with them. Thank you again guys.

White and Sons managed a property rental for us for a number of years with our primary contact being Sarah Wycherley. We always received an excellent, friendly and professional service with any issues being promptly reported to us and tradesmen arranged where appropriate. Any regulatory requirements and utility inspections were handled by Sarah and her team and the monthly statement of income sent out to us provided copies of all relevant invoices to support any works completed. Changes to the tenants were handled direct by them too with limited input required from me. I would use White and Sons again in the future if I needed someone to manage a rental property for me.

James and his team at Horley white and sons are phenomenal. We have dealt with them over the last couple of years and each time they have gone above and beyond.
On this occasion, James and his team managed to secure us 6 viewings within 4 days of being listed (off market) we received 4 offers on the 4th day. I do believe that the team put in a lot of effort to secure us those offers and I do feel that we wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. James personally worked on our sale, and was incredibly thorough and communicative on a weekly basis, sometimes even several times per day. James chased everyone within the chain on our behalf and always returned any missed calls.
Lucy showed us many houses and was also available at a drop of a hat. Stephanie too, stepped in whenever she was needed so we were never left without someone to reach out to.
We would highly recommend white and sons Horley to anyone. They provided a seamless and stress free experience, and we will be sure to use them again should we need them.

With a deadline to sell our property we asked White and Sons to market our home. Within two weeks they had produced a very professional high quality brochure and had already had several prospective buyers to view the property. The estate agent’s knowledge of the market and valuation resulted in several competitive offers from buyers within the first few weeks of listing, one of which we accepted.
Unfortunately this buyer withdrew from sale just prior to contract exchange leaving us very concerned with meeting the deadline.
But within a week James of White & Sons recovered the situation with a new buyer. Two months later we are now very relieved to have completed the sale.
Much appreciation to James, Stephanie and the team for their professionalism, support, communication and reassurance through all of this. We highly recommend White & Son’s.

I rented out my 2 bedroom flat through white and sons Oxted. All in all it was a pretty stressful experience.
I paid nearly 700 pounds for the choice of 2 Tenants. The chap I choose turned out to be
a real pain. One payment in 12 months was on time, every little detail of the flat he was unhappy
with. It cost me ridiculous amounts of money with trade people fixing minor problems. I’m surprised he didn’t request a tradesperson to change a light bulb for him!
Fortunately the chap requested a 6 month break clause in his contract. I activated this exactly 6 months to the day, giving him 2 months notice.
I was informed by the agent at this time the market was very slow and it was unlikely I would find a new tenant.
As the 2 month mark approached the tenant was still there and showing no signs of leaving. Again informed by the agent the market was slow and I should consider keeping him on.
Eventually I got rid of the tenant, 5 months after serving notice. After repeated warnings of a slow market.
I felt like I was being played by both the agent and the tenant.
I was returned the keys 3 weeks after his final rent . Finally after getting back my property I found out he had a cat (which I wouldn’t have minded had Ibeen asked), found opened mail addressed to me,was given one less set of keys, and had 2 chairs taken from the flat. But he was gone. Albeit with a good reference from the agent.
My next move was to find a new tenant. I used openrent.co.uk. I had 8 viewing requests in the first 24 hours. Not such a slow market after all!
So far so good with the new tenant
