Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service, all the staff extremely helpful, friendly, trustworthy and go above and beyond. Showroom lovely and clean and all the cars presented well; would extremely recommend to anyone.

Great service

I bought my Ford from White Horse and they were nothing but honest and helpful. There was no pressure to buy and I was worried about feeling ripped off as you never know with these car sales men but honestly everyone was fantastic and so friendly. The lady at the front desk even looked after my dog whilst I test drove the car. I've had the car a month now and no problems, it was a smooth process from start to finish.

An Excellent Dealership

An Excellent Dealership, all of the cars are so well presented and the customer service is excellent, very welcoming and knowledgeable. I would definitely purchase another car from White Horse Motors in the future without any doubt.

Ford Ranger Extras

Good People to deal with.

I could not have wished for a better experience or a better car. I visited a few main dealers prior to White Horse and felt very pressured to buy a car to the point where I felt quite uneasy. I found a Citroen online with White Horse and had a pleasant chat with Garon who invited me in for an appointment. There was absolutely no pushy sales talk or any pressure from Garon which was very refreshing. All I had was trustworthy friendly advise and then eventually a new car which I am delighted with.

Deeply disappointed and shocked

Avoid this garage!!
Bought a car here three months later it went wrong ok I have a warranty I thought. Turns out it was a £2.61 fuse cost me £339.60 as I was accused of removing the fuse and voiding the warranty. Can’t say how disappointed I have been with the service and attitude of White Horse Motors basically been called a liar and charged for the privilege.

Dear Mr Hughes,
We are very unsure and unclear on why we deserve a negative review? This is quite astonishing.
You reported that your car was failing to start at home, and you did not have home start breakdown recovery. Within the hour our technician was with you trying to diagnose the problem, however with initial diagnosis checks failing to find the cause of the issue on site the vehicle needed to be recovered to our dealership for further investigation. We arranged the recovery on your behalf to assist.
When the vehicle arrived back to us, we considered it as priority and applied two technicians immediately to carry out investigatory works. Following much time tracing multitudes of wiring and testing various components, it led a trace back to the fuse box, then with even further checks it was apparent that the engine management fuse was not present. Without this fuse the vehicle will not continue to run and is immobilised, once a replacement fuse was installed, the vehicle immediately started and operated as normal.
Simply, as explained, there is no logical reason how this fuse could vanish without being physically removed by hand and undoubtedly by some means was removed prior to the non-starting issue.
Upon this information becoming apparent it was perfectly reasonable for us to ask you and your wife if either of you had any knowledge of the fuse box being disturbed in any way, maybe removing the fuse accidentally whilst changing another fuse, it can happen. When asking this question and informing you that unfortunately due to the circumstances the findings fell beyond what any warranty could be expected to protect, as there was no definitive fault, other than a removed fuse, sadly we then faced, defence, multiple accusations and threats of reporting to Trading Standards which we welcomed as we could confidently demonstrate our findings. We also invited to show you in person the fuse in question however you declined.
In summery your car did not start, we investigated it immediately which led to a removed fuse. The fuse was replaced, and the car started straight away. The fuse box had been disturbed and the fuse removed, there is no other possibility. Despite the circumstances, we did apply much financial offset as ‘good will’ from ourselves to aid costs, but this gesture was left unacknowledged.
As a dealership we have not done anything wrong and given you the best customer service, how you can suggest otherwise and leave us a 1-star review is of surprise and much disappointment.

BUYING A CAR Bought my car 20mths ago and just…

Bought my car 20mths ago and just recently had a big bang from under the car then a rattle started took it to a garage and they said and proved that most of the bolts holding the 4x4 transfer box to the car were missing, and being that the transfer box was loose it in turn damaged the bearings on the rear propshaft. Because they had fitted a new transfer box and prop before I purchased the car I thought they would put it right as I have only covered 7000m since buying the car, but no the salesman Darren said Google searches says there is a common fault with bolts falling out of transfer boxes which when I looked did show some people having faults but when I spoke to ford they said this is rubbish the only way the box and prop can get damaged is by the car being towed while not running!! . So If they had fitted mine correctly this shouldn't of happened, it has not been towed in my ownership.
Darren also said he had a contact at ford that backed his jackanory story but he couldn't get that in writing for me, so I guess it was just a load of rubbish.
I had to pay them just over £300 to get my car back after having to get them to re-bolt the the box in and remove the propshaft so I can drive the car. The car is now 2 wheel drive and will cost approx £2500 to get it back to how it should be.

**AVOID** Terrible service

**AVOID** Terrible service, terrible attitude, if you don't want to waste your time, effort and money go to a reputable garage with a professional approach, in other words DO NOT USE WHITE HORSE MOTORS!! Very helpful when your going to spend money on a vehicle but very uninterested if you have a problem. Vehicle collected, fault noticed whilst leaving garage as it was late no one available to help. Contacted next day to fix fault, nearly 5 months of owning the vehicle, 5 + trips back to them for repair, issue still not fixed, further engine issues developed with no commitment from them to repair. Culminating in vehicle losing steering whilst driving and then breaking down requiring recovery. Refund requested and now being fobbed off with 'wait whilst we review', they dragged this over the 30 days initially so I was unable to return and have full refund. I am now unable to travel to work, and they are fully aware they have left a lone female in a rural area with absolutely no way of travelling anywhere. Their attitude is 'ignore her she will go away', if you want good customer service and a trustworthy experience DO NOT USE WHITE HORSE MOTORS!

Apologies for your dissatisfaction, it is most disappointing to read. We always pride ourselves on our customer service and always aim to do our utmost for our customers. Throughout your vehicles ownership we have tried to minimise any inconvenience to yourself when there has been an issue with your vehicle. We have always provided a free of charge mode of transport for yourself, as well as arranging collection and delivery even outside of working hours where possible to accommodate your needs. Therefore, to read your review claiming that we are “very unhelpful”, does leave us questioning how we could have assisted further. We remember that when you purchased this vehicle from us you were very un-complementary about another local garage you dealt with just before ourselves requesting a financial refund from them as well. Please be assured that being a local family business in excess of 60 years, if allowed we are always there to support your vehicle in every way and aim to exceed expectations where possible. However with obstacles that have been put in our way we are sorry to say that this has been quite challenging at times and as you know we have now had to seek professional legal advice. This is not something we would choose to do, in fact we would have preferred to continue in an amicable relationship, however due to recent circumstances, demands, and correspondence from yourself, this is now no longer possible. We have certainly not “dragged this out” or “fobbed you off” at all, we are simply following legal procedures and timeframes put in place for both parties protection. It is always in our best interest to keep situations like this amicable and to work together, unfortunately due to no fault of our own this has not been possible. Best regards, White Horse Motors

White horse motors

Just bought my first vehicle from white horse motors .. The service and dedication was excellent .. Was kept informed throughout the whole process until the vehicle was ready .On picking up the car everything was explained to me and the vehicle itself exceeded my expectations. I was informed to ring at anytime for assistance .. it was all done with safe COVID measures .. All the staff were extremely friendly.. I wouldn’t hesitate buying another vehicle from them in the future because the after sales are outstanding.

Bought an Izusu D-Max from White Horse…

Bought an Izusu D-Max from White Horse Motors. The staff were excellent and Garon Watkins was an incredibly helpful sales representative. It was a real breath of fresh air dealing with him compared to every other sales person that I've ever met.He made us feel totally relaxed and was not at all "pushy".
