I bought a Samsung phone in 2024 and ordered a whitedome glass screen protector which was 2 pack the same day. Yesterday (after hundred of falls in the last 2,5 years) it broke, I found the whitedome... See more

Screen Survivalist
I can only say I put my phone screen thru some paces and this Whitestone dome glass protected it with honor. This stuff is bullet proof, almost.
What an absolute mess.
What an absolute mess.
Glue everywhere, on my desk, on the frame, everywhere ... EVERYWHERE ... except on the phone screen. I can't imagine a worse experience.
Fiddly and instructions appalling
I bought a Google Pixel 6 and after appalling experiences with 2 other screen protectors, i thought I would give this a try.
First off, there is a lot of kit. So, be ready for that. I will outline my experience thus far, as I followed a YouTube video.
I attached the black strips that protect the vital side operations of the phone. Then I assembled my phone in the rig provided. Then the video said add the glue. This was the first issue: the glue never came out of the tube, even after I left it the suggested 30 seconds. They provide three tubes of glue, which was useful, as i used them all. The secret is to invert the glue tube, and obviously take the bottom cap off, but to release the glue, I had to open the top cap also. Very strange.
What they fail to mention is that the phone rig thing has to perfectly flat, otherwise the glue simply pools in one corner of the phone, which mine did twice.
Next I added the protector, but being so concerned with the glue swishing about, i missed the top by 5 mm. So now my protector is sitting 5 mms too low.
Next I was instructed to use the UV light thingy to finish the process off. My kit was missing the legs of the UV light machine, so i had to hold it as it did its magic. Consequently, at the bottom of my phone screen there is a type of 'mist', which seems to be coming in under the 5mm overlapping protector screen. Seriously unimpressed.
This is an expensive screen protector, which lacks credible fitting instructions. I will be contacting the company for a full refund.
Dome Glass for Pixel 7 Pro - is it worth the money?
Dome Glass for Pixel 7 Pro. I was sceptical because of the price of this. £40.00 is very steep for what most people will say is altermately a screen protector, you will always get people that say i can get one for a few quid, like anything these day you get what you pay for. I had a cheap £12.00 screen protector, dropped my phone few days after i got it and the screen protector popped off.
The Dome glass one though, i was worried with how many bits there was to do, but the key is patience. Dont be in a rush to do it and you will be fine. It has got to be one of the best and pleasent installs i have done. No air Bubbles, it fit just perfectly so the jig is spot on. It took me in total about 10 mins to install it, but i think this took longer because i wasnt 100% sure what i was doing, the video they provide is also spot on. Does it keep the fingerprints away, not all the time no, but they wipe off very very well.
It does feel better on the eyes using my phone (could be the placebo affect) knowing it stops as much blue light.
Overall, it is pricey, i don't mind spending the money but i do feel this was on the very pricey side, if it protects my phone over the next 2 years, and i only have to use the 1 or even the 2 i will be happy and would buy again. Time will tell though.
Would i recommend it: I already have. It looks amazin on the phone, i wouldn't think i have 1 on there just looking at the phone.
****AVOID*****""Unbelievable
Unbelievable, avoid at all costs. Bought a twin screen protector for my galaxy S10 plus from the company directly in order to get warranty, but when the edges started to chip and crack I got in touch with the company and they told me they no longer deal with this product and offered me a 50% off my next protector for a new phone when I get it, I changed phone and contacted the company, 8 emails later and they are still ignoring me. ******""AVOID********
Absolutely awful products and company…
Absolutely awful products and company to deal with.
Screen protectors arrived scratched, and had major air bubbles come up and start to peel up within the day.
I contacted the company for assistance and was told I would need to pay almost the entire price I paid for the item for a warranty replacement.
I've opened a case with PayPal for a chargeback as it's obvious the quality of their product is low and they are trying to scam people into paying almost the same price as the original product for a warranty replacement.
Awesome - but nervewracking
Just awesome! Best out there!
Beware, if you are unsure you can do it, you can't, some say it's easy, it's really not - ALOT can go wrong. But if you do it right, like i did, it almost looks better than without any protector, no more glare and the fingerprint works. If you're experienced in these kinds of nerdy things this is the best protector. If youre not, stick to TPU.
Terrible instruction video and very messy
I was so excited when my Whitestone Dome Glass for my S22+ arrived today. I went to their installation instruction video as they suggest and followed it as best as I could. What it does NOT show is that you have to move the glue to the middle BEFORE dropping the glass and guide weight onto the phone.
-1st try: far too much glue on top end of phone dribbled out and around the cameras. Also no glue on bottom 1/4 of the phone.
-2nd try: tried to reuse the first glass with the 2nd container of glue, but the same thing happened without any glue on the bottom.
-3rd try: watched a 3rd party youtube video about the installation and learned that I needed to center the glue before dropping the glass and weight. The glue still did not spread correctly with 2 spots on top and 1 on the side w/o glue. This was after waiting 30 min for the glue to mostly cover the missing top 10% of the phone. No idea how the side suddenly had glue missing.
Soooo frustrated and let down. Never buying this again.
HARD PASS on this product
HARD PASS on this product! Installation is difficult and you'll get better instructions from IKEA than the four steps that are provided in the package. They don't respond to emails. Worst of all, after they've set you up to fail, they offer a "warranty" replacement that costs $15, which is basically the price of the product.
Horrible product
I baught this screen protector "mostly…
I baught this screen protector "mostly for the life time warranty" after only 2 years "hardly a life time" they discontinued my screen protector how is this an OK thing to do. I want every penny back from white stone dome as they sold me on a false advertisement and a false naritive I was under the impression my warranty would be LIFE TIME not just 2 years and then nothing... I feel like I have been scammed and robbed out of over $200,00
Awful service. Warranty is a joke
I have used Whitestone Dome for over 5 years and was previously satisfied. I had multiple issues with the product for my Note 10+
When requesting a warranty replacement, Whitestone want to charge $49.99 for the replacement! This is meant to cover shopping costs to UK. What an absolute joke, the item cost a similar amount to buy outright.
On one occasion Whitestone took my money and didn't ship the item or communicate regarding where the item was and I had to receive a refund via PayPal.
Avoid this company
no warranty replacement received
I ordered a protector glass for my galaxy s10+ directly from whitestone online store, and received received it; it cracked along edge during
installation and I corresponded with whitestone about the problem for weeks before finally giving in and placing a warranty claim. I paid
the $9.99 fee and requested a new protector, but after weeks of waiting, a refund was made for the warranty claim, but no message or
explanation was ever received, and no protector glass either.
I still have the original cracked glass on my phone, and I would like to get it replaced. I have tried entering another warranty request, but
the website will not let me enter any information or make the request. I have sent an email previously about the cancellation of the
warranty replacement , but I have received NO response.
To recap: no response to emails, no warranty replacement. Really expensive screen protector....what a waste of money and who needs the aggravation of non-existant customer service!
No more business with WhiteStone Dome
I order a combo set for my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 on Sep 18, 2021 based on their website advertisement delivery on 2 days plus 1 transaction day and free shipping on purchases over $30.00 my transaction was $48.00 plus. Same day of transaction I got an email saying I will be notified as soon as we ship 3-4 pass and shipping email. I sent an email asking for the shipping of my purchase.. no answer. I send another email via to PayPal and still no answer.
On 9/23/2021 I submit a claim to Paypal Resolution Center, they follow up my emails notifying them and finally on 10/01/2021 I got and email from WhiteStone Dome and PayPal that my money will be refunded in about 3-5 days depending on my financial institution.
This company went really low on business, they do not communicate with clients whenever there is an issue. Lacks of professionalism.
Do not buy from these guys
Do not buy from these guys, they dont honor lifetime warranty, ignore emails, and hold your money with no product delivered.
Company went downhill fast - no response on paid warranty request after 5 weeks
Loved this company's product in the past, have happily used it for years - I even had a very positive experience with their warranty service last year. HOWEVER things have changed.
Aug 11, 2021 I submitted a new warranty request that showed 'submitted' for 2 weeks, I emailed them twice asking why the status didn't change, but I received no response. My warranty finally changed to 'Approved' but I didn't receive shipping info. Another 2 emails asking for shipping info went unanswered.
It's now been almost 5 weeks, I've sent 6 emails without getting a response.
There's a reason why the BBB has given them an F rating: SOOO EFF whitestone dome - They produced the best screen protector available, but their customer service is non-existent.
I called my bank and asked them to dispute the charge.
So I had a decent experience with the…
So I had a decent experience with the product and applying it to 2 phones but I have been waiting for my warranty relacement since June 15th 2021 today is September 13 2021 and I have not even received one email or any type of notification from them at all. I see my warranty replacement was approved on their site July 15th but still have received nothing. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT ANYONE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
They are scammers
They are scammers, I bought [E-Jig] Galaxy S21 Ultra Dome Glass Tempered Glass Screen Protector, and the glue didn't last 12 hours before starting to disappear leaving white spots on the borders.
I tried registering the product for the warranty and it has been in PENDING APPROVAL for weeks, they have not replied to any of my emails. Just a waste of money and time, look for another product.
Whitestone Dome is not a Reputable Company
Here are the reason why Whitestone Dome is not Reputable Company:
1. E-Jig did not work straight out of the box.
2. Finger print does not work well as advertised with their screen protector.
3. Customer service does not respond to your emails.
4. Their replacement Warranty Web Application is a way to rob you by charging you a shipping fee $9.99 without shipping you a replacement unit.
5. There is no phone number to call them.
6. You paid $49.99 for a damage product straight out of the box and you submit a request for a replacement through their Warranty program. They charge you a shipping fee $9.99 and take your money first. Then leave you hanging without shipping a replacement unit. Also no tracking number and no update to inform you....they just leave you hanging....very frustrating.....
Customer and Warranty Services are useless.
What is going on with this company? Just the worst customer service and after reading most of the reviews on this site, it's safe to say what they're doing has/is happening far too often, and I wish a commission were to look into the Whitestone Dome company to provide some answers. I've an all too similar story with some warranty claim users:
I placed a warranty replacement order on July 22, a month and a half later, it STILL HASN'T BEEN SHIPPED YET. Absolutely frustrating!
On August 30th, after weeks of emails and 'Contact Us' requests submitted pleading for an update, I finally got a reply saying "Sorry for the delay. It will be shipped out this week". Lo and behold, 7 days later, now September 6th, no confirmations of shipment whatsoever. Waste of money on "shipping and handling fee" what a joke.
I am disappointed that this expensive piece of glass cracked after the edge hit my plastic charging adapter next to my bed (40cm drop), even with a protective case on. Let alone this nightmare of having to order a warranty replacement with useless customer service.
Also is it just me or has anyone else noticed their [Whitestone Dome Glass] Note 20 ultra doesn't show up on Amazon anymore? I might be wrong but hope I'm not the only one. As I've bought from this company once before, for my GNote 8 back in 2017, one of the reviewers is absolutely right; this company has gone downhill since 2020.
