I've been a customer of Wilkie's for a number of years now. They are friendly, professional and excellent to deal with.

Jack was very thoughtful and explained everything as the examination was carried out. Have been treated by Jack before and feel he understands any concerns I have about cataract op.which didn't go without problems.

I have been going to Wilkie Eye Care for several years now, and the service and professionalism has always been top notch. They may not be the cheapest Opticians around, but you get what you pay for. I am happy to recommend them, and confident that should you try, you won't be disappointed.

It was my first visit after phoning to request an appointment to deal with a suspected eye infection. After being triaged by a very helpful member of staff I was given an appointment later that day. Jack was very professional, carried out a thorough examination and was reassuring. All staff were extremely friendly.

I arranged an appointment at short notice the day before I was examined as I had noticed a number of new floaters in my left eye. My optician examined the eye extremely thoroughly and carefully and discovered a minor tear in my retina. I was immediately referred to Gartnavel Hospital for treatment that same afternoon. The tear was dealt with successfully by laser surgery.

I went and got a eye test and needed a reading prescription, the staff here are very helpful and make your visit a pleasant experience, would recommend as it is a family run business and not the hustle and bustle of larger big business opticians.

Wilkies have looked after my family for decades. Not only have they always provided a great service, but due to very early diagnosis by them, they saved a family member’s sight.
