Poor quality jumper, slow delivery, customer service non existent
Ordered a jumper which took ages to arrive and quality really poor. I don’t hold out much hope of a refund as no reply from customer services. Will probably end up donating it to charity.
I was under the impression I was buying from a UK shop - should have done my homework better!
Head to Zara
Wish I had read the reviews before ordering what looked like very nice shirts for a weekend function.
11 days and no sign of shirts so had to buy others.
Customer service of no help at all and would not cancel and refund!
Head to Zara!
Goods not received
I ordered a pair of ankle boots, however I never received them. I raised a dispute with my bank which concluded 30 days later, William London refused the claim, taking no responsibility whatsoever. I am unable to contact them directly so I have lost £45.99, very upset!!
Returns Policy
Shorts too long, too loose, no fly, but the worst is their returns policy - they have to be returned to CHINA, at your own expense! Ghastly poor quality products; don't buy their image. Delete delete
Not a nice experience
Poor experience at best.
Took nearly two weeks to receive two shirts.
When received they looked like rags all rumpled up and in poor packaging.
Quality was awful, looked nothing like the images on Instagram.
They will not refund unless shirts are sent back to China.
Must read. Know your rights.
Same as everyone else on this review site my experience was exactly the same.
The quality of the garments looked nothing like the ones on the web site and they sent me the wrong size.
Important to notify the company straight away of your issues. You will not get any satisfaction but it's part of the process.
You are protected by distance selling rules and the Consumer Rights Act so you are not responsible for the cost of return postage.
I paid with a credit card so I notified the credit card company sending them evidence and they quickly refunded the money.
Everything was quiet for a couple of months, then I started getting threatening emails.
I responded to two of the emails advising the garments were not as advertised and they sent the wrong size.
Quoted the distance selling rules and Consumer Rights Act but they disregarded this.
In my final response I advised I have always been willing to return the items providing they supply a fully tracked postage paid returns lable and I was willing for them to issue court proceedings. If they judged in their favour then I would pay the costs.
I also advised I was no longer prepared to keep responding to their emails.
I also spoke to the credit card company. They confirmed Williams had not challenged the refund so I should ignore the emails and do not engage with them.
Received 1st, 2nd and third final demand. Ignored them all.
I then get a demand from Clarkson New York. Intrigued, I checked their customer reviews. No surprise, same company, different name doing the same thing in the States.
Had three further final demands from Clarkson New York. Ignored them all.
Couple of months have past since the last final demand and it's all gone quiet.
Always take the advise from your credit card company or citizens advise. They will tell you the same thing.
Don't be intimidated by the threatening emails. Exercise your rights.
I will provide updates If this escalates any further.
Actually no stars
Actually no stars. Like everyone else my cardigan item was not what I saw in the advertising- it’s brown and not orange. It’s got no Williams labelling as it comes from China not London. The supposed size 8 has a small on it. More like size 18. I wish that I had looked at Trustpilot first as I would not have ordered it. Don’t buy from this ‘shop’
Dress was nothing like I ordered
Dress was nothing like I ordered. Wanted details for a return and refund. Had to send photos of item and postage packet then told that to return package will cost at lease £25 to return to ‘China” so they offered me keeping the item and using the amount towards another purchase. I didn’t pay £25 plus delivery so why should I be deducted this from my refund. They wouldn’t budge and I didn’t want the dress nor anything else.
Williams clothing is a scam
I ordered a navy Nolan shirt from Williams clothing. What arrived was an unfolded unpressed shirt with no label. No mention of Williams anywhere on the product or the packaging. It bears little resemblance to the item pictured on their site where they are also displaying a false Trustpilot rating.
Successful Refund
I raised a dispute with PayPal after receiving the awful item in December 2025 and didn’t win, however after watch a TV programme on scams just yesterday 12/03/26, I resubmitted my dispute using the “Buyer Protection” clause in the agreement citing that goods that were purchased as “authentic” were in fact counterfeit goods of very poor standard from China.
I received a full refund today 13/03/26. RESULT.
Hope this helps some of you with a claim against these scammers.
This company is a complete scam ordered…
This company is a complete scam ordered two up market polo shirts from Williams of London. Received from China two cheap polo shirts with incorrect labelling, shoddy material wrong size and stitching coming apart. Nothing like advertised. Tried to return them but had to send back to some obscure warehouse in China at a ridiculous delivery cost. Costing more than the goods. I got a charge back after my credit card investigated them. They are now sending me threatening messages. Will see them in court and try and get this scam stopped. They lie in their advert, photo of London store which doesn’t exist a promise of no hassle refund which is far from it. I have the baking of my credit card. Hope this helps yours frustrated Geoff.
Leopard print trainers
Ordered a pair of lovely looking leopard trainers and recieved a very cheap poor quality pair thats not worth £4.50 let alone £45.00. Asked to return iteam didnt get a reply so contacted my bank who refunded me. Im now recieving daily threats from the company saying they will send bayliffs and take me to court if i dont return item at my cost. £12.50-£17.50 plus china tax commission to pay 😡 has anyone had any other threats if they havnt returned items? Dont want my credit rating ruined by this awful dodgy company?
Criminal organisation
Criminal organisation
Im starting a criminal legal case against them for money stealing. They sold absolutely crap instead of what they advertised, I have sent it back to address , shown on the parcel by Royal Mail, now I get an email , they are not planning to do refund ,bcz I sent to wrong address. Be careful everyone, dont buy from them anything, its a criminal sheme , fraud.
The clothes are not as advertised
The clothes are not as advertised. When I emailed to request return with refund there was a deafening silence. Do NOT order from this Company - like me, you will probably be deeply disappointed.
A very disappointing experience
The company is called "Williams London" however they are clearly based in China. Do not order unless you want to wait 12 days for your order.
The clothes did not look anything like what was advertised. The sweaters are shorter at the back than the front and are not long enough anyway. They are extremely thin and more like an undershirt than a sweater.
This has been a very disappointing experience and I will not buy from Williams London again.
These guys are fraudsters based in…
These guys are fraudsters based in China. The ‘clothes’ aren’t fit to put on a scarecrow and they ‘don’t accept returns’. I’m reporting them wherever possible.
don't use this company.....no return…
don't use this company.....no return and the clothing is of shocking quality.....
Not uk based , Chinese
Ordered an item , they sent the wrong size after a lengthy delivery of 10 days , emailed to say wrong size sent and wanted to return item for refund , they state no refunds from UK have to be sent form to return to china for £30 plus taxes in china which we be deducted from refund .. found they have no UK office or company registered just one in mid chins , the following emails re refund went on and on , delays their end in replying then after 30 days the offer was removed .. trade under other brand names in UK all Chinese .. don’t buy from them
Online refund. Be wary when buying online.
I bought a blouse online but unfortunately it was far to long. I decided to send it back. I asked for a returns form and was politely told it would be cheaper to keep it as I would have to pay upto £30 return delivery charges plus £12.50.customs fee. Apparently it had to go back to the Central warehouse. It must be on the otherside of the world to warrant those charges. They did however, offer a 10% partial refund and to keep the blouse.
I would be very wary about ordering online as the website is misleading about returns.
