Why isn't this website closed down for fraud

I also am a victim of this scam website. Seemed legit and i had found the christmas toy for my niece that i thought i had purchased. weeks went by and nothing, i emailed the contacts and chased and chased, was told that there was a delay due to covid. Chased again and told it had been tracked and sent. When it eventually turned up, it was a fake pair or RayBan sunglasses. i jumped straight on it and have been chasing for a refund for weeks. i get replies saying they had sent right item and investigating why i didn't received the right item. offered a 40% refund because i had received a different item. This intentional deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain. Why is this website still allowed to trade? Why hasn't it been closed down?

Beware

Beware! Do NOT buy from these 'people'. They are thieving scum who will take over a month to send fake goods. If you do, contact your bank and cancel your card, speak with their fraud dept and forward any emails they sent to you with the order number on it. Photograph the fake goods and forward that too - the fraudsters response is that their fake sh1te was signed for and refuse to pay (that's their 'defence'). Their bank won't however, and you will have a good chance of a refund. These scum are also trading as gsgarage.co.uk.

Scammers

Ordered from this site, as it looked legit. I even checked the address to make sure it was a uk address. After placing the order, the email came through from China. I thought I’d wait a bit and see only to have a pair of fake sunglasses sent out to me. Emailed company and was advised that Lego not in stock so they sent me sunglasses. I have had numerous emails back and forth requesting a refund, which they will only do if I return the sunglasses to them at a cost to me. Been quoted £47 for this. If they don’t receive the sunglasses back then they will not refund me. Even if I send tack and trace, in China there postal service is different to ours. The addressee gets sent a letter to collect the parcel if not collected within 30days it’s marked as undelivered. I can’t see them collecting it and then refunding me!!! They also took two payments out of my account which they denied.

Scam - do not use!

I can't believe I fell for this. Should have realised when there was no option to pay by Paypal. Cancelled my card immediately but they had already taken the payment. The bank refunded the transactions (the initial payment and also another 3 small amounts for a foreign currency transactions). I received more emails asking me to track my parcel which I deleted. They also sent me an email asking me to reconfirm delivery address. Like others, a small package arrived which were fake designer sunglasses.

Me too

Me too. It looked too good to be true and it was.

Sunglasses aren't bad and if I don't look too hard I can pretend they're real Raybans !

Definitely scam

Definitely scam. I thought I bought Lego set but a pair of sunglasses turned up instead.
The website should be reported and I think it’s been taken down as I understand. I will never buy anything from a site I have not used before.

This is definately a scam!

This is definately a scam, same as below just received fake sunglasses instead of lego. Trying to get money back from bank now but won't be easy.

Just dont order anything. The deal for the lego was too good to be true. Should have been paying more attention to it but clearyl wasn't at the time!

Website has disappeared now, shock! I expect it will reappear in a similar guise soon.

Shoppers beware this is definitely a scam!!

Beware this is definitely a scam and I have also noticed that they have now gone offline. Like others I ordered Lego, but there was an issue at checkout when it came up that my order had been cancelled and to reorder. I thought this was strange and I also didn't get an email confirmation. I started to become suspicious and googled the company and after seeing the reviews on here, I immediately rang my bank and cancelled my card. Thankfully the payment hasn't gone through. The website looked legit, so shoppers beware as these people will no doubt set up under another company name. These people should be ashamed of themselves!!!
