I recently completed both the Paediatric First Aid and Workplace First Aider courses with Winterbourne Training, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The instructor was exceptional throughout – knowledgeable, engaging, and able to deliver the content in a way that was both clear and memorable.
The course content was thorough and well structured, with plenty of interaction that made the learning both practical and enjoyable. The instructor’s approach ensured everyone felt confident to ask questions and practise skills in a supportive environment.
Overall, an outstanding training experience that has left me feeling well-prepared and confident. Winterbourne Training sets the standard – highly recommend!

Always love training events with Caroline Port (plus the addition of her equally brilliant husband). Caroline is very enthusiastic about her courses, and ensures we are supplied with drinks, snacks, and even little sweet treats. Caroline is efficient, funny, patient and kind. She makes every course I go on an absolute pleasure.
Shes also.very empathetic to those of us who struggle with memory, anxiety and other symptoms of the older students:) Definitely the lady to use when wanting training on First Aid, Safeguarding, and Teenage development.

Awesome course, so very informative and the trainer was funny, real, very relatable too. I wish all trainers were this good. She made it feel very informal and almost personal, by remembering names and referencing things you may have said the previously. Very interactive and encouraging
I always dread attending training courses. But with this one, I actually had fun and enjoyed the session. The training was done in such a way that you could remember a lot of the information. It is the best first aid course I have attended.

Just had my First Aid Course with Carolyn, and I couldn’t recommend enough.
Carolyn made the course fun & full of laughter.
I have been to many courses in the past & this was by far the best.
I have come away with a lot more knowledge, along with Carolyn’s useful mnemonics in First Aid.
Thank you so much Carolyn.
Carolyn conducted a team First Aid at work training day for a group. The day went by in a flash and Carolyn was very informative with a great range of knowledge, speaking from her own emergency response experience . The training was made fun and Carolyn adapted her teaching style easily to the different personality types on the course. I would thoroughly recommend using Winterbury Training and we shall certainly book for the renewal training when the time arrives. Everyone attending the course passed!

a really good course, facilitated by Carolyn that helped a small group work through emergency first aid content, anaphylaxis, asthma. fractures, defibrillators. Carolyn has clearly worked in the field for decades and has a wealth of experience and knowledge to impart.

I just wanted to say thank you to Carolyn and Winterbury Training for a great first aid course.
This is was a really good course with lots of knowledge, passion and practical tips compared with lots of others I have done as I have to refresh every 3 years. Some great mnemonics to help you remember what you should do in an emergency situation.
Definitely not another boring first aid course! Highly recommend

I was really impressed with this course. The course leader was very skilled at managing the group, putting everyone at ease, and of course conveying the content. I came away feeling much more confident and knowledgeable in terms of basic first aid, and with some practical takeaways that I shared with family members immediately. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Fantastic first aid course which gave me confidence and taught me a lot of new things even though I've done many first aid courses previously. This course was by far and away the most fun. Carolyn and Simon made it interesting, practical and engaging and happily answered questions. I also liked how all participants had their own Resusci Annies (adult/child/infant) which made it so much better than the whole group having to take it in turns with just one Annie. I'll definitely be doing my refresher course next time with Winterbury Training. Thanks for a fun and informative day!
