I entered for a few different high end road bikes and I couldn’t believe my luck when I was one of the winners.
The whole process after that was a smooth transaction, from Chris notifying me as a winner to the courier handing me a canyon aeroad cfr at my doorstep. The little details of Chris keeping me updated on the delivery with all the tracking details was a nice touch. Thank you WYDB.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with WYDB and can honestly say they’re one of the best bike competition companies out there. I was lucky enough to win a prize on the very first day of the instant win launch, which made it even more exciting knowing I was one of the first winners. An advert that seemed to keep appearing on my Instagram feed. Curiosity got the better of me and decided to enter. Now a winner and proud owner of a Cervelo Soloist. I can’t see any details of the odds of winning a bike, but given the entry cost:bike price ratio, the odds must be in the region of 1:4500 at best. Some money does go to good causes so I suppose you can console yourself with that thought when you don’t win.

Thanks for your feedback. We want to reassure you that unlike traditional gambling, our competitions are completely transparent — the odds are always visible. Each draw has a clearly stated ticket cap at the top of the prize gallery, and you can also see the number of tickets sold in real time on the website. That way, you know exactly what the odds are before you decide to enter.
We also pride ourselves on keeping entry costs low, giving riders the chance to win high-value bikes that many wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford. On top of that, every draw helps raise funds for fantastic causes — something we’re really proud of.
We completely understand that not everyone will win, but we’re glad to give the cycling community an exciting and affordable way to take part, with full transparency throughout.

A really disappointing experience as the following email I sent to WYDB explains: -
'Re: - Order #********(21 August 2025)
It would appear the sum of £1.95 has been deducted TWICE from my bank account when it should only be a single £1.95! Accordingly I'd be grateful if you could refund to me £1.95. I would add that when I purchased the ticket it took an inordinately long time to process the payment to the point I was under the impression that perhaps it hadn't gone through, there being no immediate confirmation as such. When an email from you did eventually come through, quite sometime later, it gave the impression the payment was yet to confirm, which apparently wasn't so, hence the duplication of payment via a link in the response, itself misleading! I must say it doesn't create a good impression for me and perhaps you can explain what's gone on?

I did get a response a few days later advising there'd been an issue with the (new) payment portal and as such I was to be refunded the duplicated payment and was given three free complimentary entry tickets, which was appreciated. I'd like to think this company is legitmate however I can't really recommend at least for the moment on the basis of my this experience, which has certainly undermined my confidence in buying any further tickets!

We’ve already processed a refund of the £1.95 taken in error, which should appear back in your account within the next few working days. As a further apology for the inconvenience, we’ve also issued you a code to use for additional tickets in this draw.
After looking into it, it seems our third-party payment gateway (Viva) experienced a crash during your transaction, which unfortunately caused the duplicate payment. While our system only shows one charge, the gateway error resulted in the second deduction.
We’re very sorry for the frustration this caused and for the delay in replying. We’re always working on improving our systems to make sure this kind of thing doesn’t happen again.
