very happy with the panels, accessories not so much
I am very happy with the panels I received. I ordered single pieces to use to close the ends as your end of panel pieces were only available in a couple of colours but not the colour I chose which was a shame. The panels are all installed and look great and clean up the living room sound.
I did however order black iron finger screws to hang something but when they arrived they seemed to require something else to make them useful. I ended up using some generic clips for a fraction of the price. Some less pricy and more comprehensive accessories would be beneficial.

Ordered Friday, with me Monday!
I ordered my panels on Black Friday and they were with me by lunchtime on the following Monday. The panels were for use in two rooms, my office and my lounge. The panels completely changed the look and feel in my office making it feel like a workspace rather than just the regular plain walls. I haven’t got round to installing the panels in the lounge yet, that is a between Christmas and new year job. Really pleased with the quality of the panels and the ease of installing using the screws into dry wall. I look forward to getting some of the accessories to go on the wall in future! Would buy again!

Shipping damage
Shipping damaged the felt backing at corners. Several wood slats were not stapled correctly. They fell off. Out of 4 panels 3 had problems. Otherwise I love the product

Products are great quality. In our opinion worth paying the extra compared to alternatives available from DIY or builder merchant outlets. Easy to install and the accessories make an impact. Excellent all round
I ordered samples initially, which was really helpful as it let me see the colour & quality of the product before I purchased. Customer service was excellent, there was an issue with my delivery as the lane to my home was blocked, I spoke to both Greg & Jay who were very helpful & got my delivery to me. It was fitted by a professional joiner ( I’m lucky my son is a joiner) and he has fitted quite a few of these types of products for media walls etc…. He said this one was the best quality he had worked with. It looks stunning & we are very pleased with the result.

Not clear that LED strips need a Phillips Hue Bridge

Gregg the company owner reached out to me with a kind reply, and offered me a solution that I am very happy with. I do love my WoodUpp panels and various accessories. Gregg's thoughtful message to myself and care to ensure a good customer experience has restored my faith in WoodUpp.
Original review:
I purchased an LED strip with a plan to control it via Google Home. This appeared to be possible as the product description says: 'SMART Technology lntegration Experience the convenience of smart home compatibility. Our LED strips feature advanced SMART technology, allowing you to control them with Phillips Hue, Google Home, Apple Homepod and Alexa. Easily adjust your lighting with voice commands or through your smart home apps, creating the perfect ambiance with minimal effort.'
However, on contacting customer service, they said I needed to buy a Phillips Hue Bridge. This isn't clear based on the wording on the website. They pointed out that it stated it in the installation instructions, but I'd have had to dig very deep into the documentation to find this out. The product description is misleading as-is.
Had it been more clear, I would have purchased the remote control, which was on sale and apparently in stock at the time of my purchase, but was now out of stock. I was told I had to wait until it comes back in stock and pay full price to be able to control the LED strip.
Finally, it was disappointing that the customer service manager was unable to arrange a free return of the LED strip given that I believed it to have been mis-sold.
All in all, I found the customer service experience to be very unhelpful, a bit rude and has left me wary of purchasing from them in the future.
I'm writing this review to caution future buyers - if you intend to buy this LED strip, make sure you have a Phillips Hue Bridge or buy the remote at the same time.

Not what you expect for the price. Look out for this twist in ts and cs
Not what you expect for the price. Read to the end to hear their twist in terms and conditions. The panels did not match the sample. The sample picked the same section of 1 panel and repeated it 3 times. The larger panels are a myriad of colours so what turned up was totally different.
They also refused to deliver to my flat after I caught them dumping it in a public area and driving away without telling me. The driver claimed health and safety. When I said that's not the delivery I paid 80 pounds for the driver laughed and said I don't get 80 pounds and drove away. I said this to woodupp. They said first it's in their T&Cs... Weak excuse. You can't charge 80 pounds to dump it on someone's doorstep. After arguing they said they'd refund the 80 pounds. They didn't. Exhausted fighting with these guys I'm left with the panels that look nothing like the sample that I had to carry up flights of stairs and through fire doors by myself.

Your delivery, communication history and product details have all been fully documented, and these records contradict the claims made in your review. As you are already aware, a fraud investigation was opened against you following the allegations you raised during and after your delivery. We had hoped this process would clarify that providing false claims have consequences and would aim to prevent further inaccurate statements being made in the future.
We will be forwarding this review to the police so it can be added to the existing case file, along with the detailed evidence already in their possession.
We remain committed to providing accurate product samples, transparent communication and safe deliveries, and we stand by the actions taken by our team throughout this order.
We also wish to make clear to you, that our company will pursue appropriate legal action, including criminal proceedings, against any individual found to have intentionally committed fraud against our business.
Daughters Bedroom Project
I used Wood Up panel for my daughter’s bedroom project. The Staff were great from start to finish. If I had a query about the products or installation I phoned them up and they were very accommodating and extremely helpful with advice. My daughters made up with her new room the acupanels really make the room pop. Great company 5 stars. Thanks Wood Up

Really pleased with the product and the…
Really pleased with the product and the result is stunning. A couple of small(ish) gripes: The glue was very hard to get out of the tube using the tube gun. The impression given in the videos is that it is like normal sealant but it is much stodgier than that and you will get a good workout applying it. The other point is that one of the slats was slighly offset on two of the panels and we had to do a bit of additional trimming to get round that.

5 stars for product but -2 for service
The panels and accessories are great: excellent quality, beautifully made, and they’ve made my space feel wonderfully cosy.
But the experience with customer support and delivery wasn't great at all.
1. Delivery cost:
At checkout for an already expensive order, an additional £200 shipping fee appeared — an unpleasant surprise considering most similar companies offer free delivery. I assumed this might cover some import duties, but given the speed and origin of the shipment, it clearly wasn’t.
For £200 delivery cost, I surely should have expected: a) clear communication when the order would arrive; and b) excellent delivery service. Neither was the case.
2. Communication:
There was no prior notice of when the delivery would take place — no text, email, or call. The delivery company phoned me only half an hour before arrival, and it was pure luck that I happened to be working from home that day. When I contacted customer service about this, they became defensive and claimed they’d surely given me a call and agreed on the date - and refused to accept that they hadn’t even when I sent a screenshot of my incoming calls on the alleged day, with no answered / missed calls from WoodUpp. That was poor.
3. Delivery service:
The delivery person asked my husband to carry most of the very heavy packages from the gate into the house. Again, it was luck that my husband was home to do this. When I raised this issue with customer support, I was told they had “only ever received excellent feedback” for the delivery provider and would pass the feedback on to them. Not great.
Overall, the tone of the conversation felt like I was being unreasonable for expecting better service for the £200 delivery fee. If a company charges a premium, it is fair to expect at least a basic level of communication and proper delivery to the home.
In short:
Outstanding product quality, but customer service falls far short of the standard the price suggests.

Fail to Respond, wrong order
I ordered 7 panels or so and they were great. I then thought the shelves would be a great addition. I orderred 2 shelves, black, with bkack thumbscrews. They sent brass which i dont want. I havd emailed them several times and no one replies. I just want two black thumbscrew packs sending out. Its annoying because two relatively small shelves is nearly 200.

With regard to the shelves: they come as standard with brass thumbscrews, and at the moment we don’t offer the option to exchange them for another colour as part of the shelf purchase. However, it is possible to purchase black thumbscrews separately if you’d like them.
Great quality value for money product
When we decided we wanted to install acoustic panelling we conducted a fair amount of research. Woodupp looked like it would fit the bill and we really liked the accessories available.
The quality of the product is excellent. It is far better than anything available from B&Q, Wickes, Homebase etc. and is no more expensive.
We purchased 8 panels, a glue gun and glue, screws, a staple gun and staples and a box of picture hooks. You only need glue or screws. We’re not too bothered though as our panelling won’t be going anyway.
Definitely worth getting a box or two of picture hooks though - very easy to put pictures / mirrors up and move them around without leaving any marks.
