Word2kindle made my book pop
Word2kindle made my book pop. David's Space Flight Waking Up would never have been on Amazon if I had not hired this marvelous team. So patient for a first time author. I have my second book in the wings and I will be rehiring word2kindle.
Formatting my book for KDP with Word 2 Kindleord 2 Kindle was an…
I thought Word 2 Kindle was an excellent company. From the moment I first got in touch with them to help me to format my latest book, they were kind, helpful and extremely professional. They helped a novice like me to navigate the publication of my book. They were always prompt at answering emails with any questions I had. I thought their prices were very reasonable indeed and they will definately be my go to people the next time I publish a book. I couldn't be happier with their service!
Thank you
Understanding,as a first time author it was a long process that felt short with this group's input.
Thank you
Word 2 kindle fantastic , thank you
Word 2 kindle, thank you for doing a great job
Of formatting my rhyming poems, I hope they make a few bob
I'm new to writing and my questions were endless
You did a great job, in fact, you were tremendous
So, if your looking for expertise and don't want time to dwindle
Then I would highly recommend you use Word 2 kindle
Brilliant service for Amazon Kindle publishing
Just used Word2Kindle for the third time and as always, the service was absolutely faultless. Really quick turn around, super professional and unfailingly friendly. Can't recommend enough. Many thanks to Nick and the team
Seamless process, impressive result
Nick and the Word-to-Kindle team have converted several of my novels to EPUB for Kindle and other e-reading platforms.
The process is seamless. Assessment to invoicing is usually a day and the longest I’ve waited for conversion is four days. As any author knows, no matter how carefully they’ve edited, an error or typo always seems to get through. The Word-to-Kindle team are happy to make those go away.
The result is impressive. Great flowable layouts, immediately accepted by the e-platform.
Nick is attentive, keeps me up to date and is serious about the quality of his product. The Word-to-Kindle team should be the first stop for any author aiming for EPUB platforms. I thoroughly recommend them.
First book experience
Nick was instrumental in keeping up with communication. The editor to proof read didn't do thorough job as required for writing. Suggestion: need to hire someone who is passionate about editing and proofread manuscripts. Thankfully the job was done. Thank you.
A positive, learning experience with W2K
I went with W2K because their prices were the best. I had been looking to reach a vast market that never really existed by employing a top self-publisher. I lost a lot of money. I had a lot of experience when I chose W2K, so I knew how to work with them. I've published several books with Nick and Mary. For some books it's been the works; editing, cover, formatting, uploading, marketing material. They responded to every email quickly and professionally. I've never stopped trying to teach myself how to take advantage of KDP. For my last book, I got stuck formatting a manuscript for KDP, and they were right there to help. The best was when I earned a "we believe in you and your books," something every writer struggles for.
For the cost
For the cost, W-2-K services are great. I’ve published four books to date with more to follow. They have been patient with my errors, helped me fix mistakes, and always been very pleasant to deal with. If you are looking for an affordable and fairly easy process to publish, I highly recommend Nick and his team. As I read through multiple reviews, I myself was a little concerned over the number of one-star ratings, however it would be my guess that the experiences were most likely a combination of misunderstandings and mutual errors. No one is perfect, mistakes get made, and self-editing is extremely difficult. I’ve worked with two project managers, and both have been great. If you want or need a higher level of interaction and service, there are other vendors who by charging more can offer that. W2K has always been upfront with me on what they can and cannot provide, and each cost involved.
Bad Business Practice
Very responsive while trying to sell their service, then disappear after. They did not follow my request for my manuscript, failing to adjust according to an update I provided not long after submitting my initial manuscript. This resulted in me not having the correct manuscript in time to hit my desired publish date. Now, they’re refusing to refund the money for an incorrect manuscript I’ll never use because they say it’s not their fault they can’t update a manuscript request once it’s sent to their team.
For a 5 star experience, do this...
Here's how to reconcile these radically different reviews:
I've done several books with Word2. If I give them a complete manuscript that looks EXACTLY the way I want it, it has always been very smooth sailing. If I want them to help me dick around with it, it quickly gets frustrating, slow, and expensive.
My designated project manager was Thea…
My designated project manager was Thea Stevens, and my primary contact was Nick Caya. Recognizing that this may be a smaller operation with limited resources, I understand that response times and service delivery could be impacted. On 02/22, I initiated an order for the editing and publishing of an eBook. Unfortunately, the service provider failed to meet the agreed-upon deadline of 03/19, prompting me to promptly cancel the order due to their inability to deliver the eBook on time. As outlined in their policy, I am entitled to a refund under such circumstances. Despite the website's commitment to 100% customer satisfaction, I have yet to receive any communication or assistance from their customer support or call center. It is unfortunate that they do not offer customer service and have conveyed their inability to contact customers via phone. Additionally, no progress was made on the project as I canceled it shortly after receiving the project plan. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out, I have not received any response from the service provider since March 15th. Consequently, I am sharing this review to alert others to my experience. Prospective clients should be made aware of their business practices.
Avoid!
I basically ended up paying for the same project twice. After waiting over a month, the book was incorrectly formatted and then I was charged the same fee for reformatting. I also paid for an e-book that was delivered without any formatting whatsoever so it completely unusable. I started this project at the end of December and I still am not on Amazon as of February. There is no way to communicate with the people actually working on my book. Only a “project manager” who forwards my emails to the team. Save your money and time.
Word-2-Kindle is easy very worth the cost!
They have been great! I previously had published on Amazon (and a long time ago with a traditional publisher), but Word-2-Kindle made the whole process much faster, more accurate, and virtually painless. Marie Myers is a wonderful project manager. My most recent book, GROWING UP TOUGH, is my fourth book to use Word-2-Kindle, turned out lovely, and has received many nice reviews. Just remember to get the manuscript as perfect as you can prior to submitting and be sure to give clear instructions so the team can have it ready without needing too many corrections.
Attention
Attention! They're scammers! You will lose time, money, and nerves! Please do not believe the false 5-star reviews that they write about themselves!
I gave this company a second chance
I gave this company a second chance, which was a huge mistake. My manuscript was sabotaged. It was not what I submitted to them for edits. It was full of dropped sentences, inserted words that I did not write, and pivotal chapters were deleted. This happened after I submitted edits. I got back a whole new manuscript full of insertions and deletions they swore were from their computer program. I don't have the time to chase them down. I am not beholden to them. I have enough money to take my business elsewhere. However, I recommend that you save your money and avoid the trickery and deceit. Book Baby is a lot more professional and lives up to industry standards. Happily they refunded my money.
Just flawless
Just flawless - support, responsiveness, every phase of preparing "The Russian Butterfly: Sex Secrets of the KGB," my first e-book, for publication. In fact, I was astounded at how constructive and pleasant every exchange was and how they "didn't judge" my ignorance through several revisions. I'll use Word 2 Kindle again without a second thought. This is an unqualified recommendation.
Thanks, especially, to Meg & Nick.
Update of a prior review
I am updating my review because they did complete my project and part of the problem was what I was doing; so I take responsibility for the errors. I am only giving 3 stars because I do not think their customer service is that great. I understand customers are a dime a dozen apparently but it would be nice if they gave more customized care and listened to their clients. I also think they do their best to milk the client for money unnecessarily. They do not deliver in a reasonable amount of time....usually 14 days unless you want to pay extra.
For those who can't
I am a Canadian father of three. I recently took K2W up on their offer for assistance. They did what they said they would do, more or less.
GRATEFUL
GRATEFUL
Word-2-Kindle formatted many books for me, now for sale on Amazon. I did not grow up in the digital age. Word-2-Kindle not only did an excellent job formatting my books, but also worked patiently with me to get the job done. I will be eternally grateful.
