I had a great experience with Word 2 Kindle and Nick Caya. They were friendly, prompt and did a fantastic job converting my word projects to the Kindle format. They also did two exceptional book covers which was included in their $49 dollar price. Great job!

Though my project manager was polite, the experience was very frustrating. It took nearly 6 MONTHS to get my book published. They should of told me from the beginning an estimated time of completion.
They also should of listened to some of my suggestions, like, talk 1:1 on the phone to solicit the customer's expectations. This would of saved much time. (But they consistently stated they don't talk on the phone with customers!)
They made changes to my book WITHOUT my knowledge. One supervisor, Riz Spencer ducked most of my emails. Not customer friendly nor a willingness to rectify differences. I would not recommend Word 2 Kindle to anyone.

I just published a short story on KDP and needed computer help and a little bit of guidance. Thankfully, I chose to give Word-2-Kindle the shot at formatting and editing my piece. They did an amazing quality job. I especially am excited about their graphic design team. The cover they designed to go along with my simple artwork astounded me, elegant and simple with a retro feel that absolutely stuck out from all the other covers. It was exactly what I wanted. For any unpublished author wanting to get their material out to the public, I recommend Word-2-Kindle as the company that will be able to get a feel for the piece submitted, and appropriately choose the font and cover design that fits with that artist. Here was what I was promised by Nick Caya: Hi Richard,. The upload service is included in our Deluxe Package. Deluxe Package - $470.00 eBook Formatting Interior Formatting for print Premium Cover Art Design 3D Book Mockup Amazon eBook & Book Upload 1 month of free revision. Thanks, Nick Caya Word-2-Kindle They were supposed to format the book for a fee and I was promised 1 month free revision for the deluxe package-the most expensive in the pack. Unfortunately they sent me a poorly formatted material which had the title covering the whole page, zigzag and horribly indented paragraphs and with each word of the text broken into 2 with hyphenated marks in almost every page. The table of contents was done with several mistakes, the words had serious errors, I had to hire a proofreader to reread and correct all their mistakes. However when I pointed them to the errors in the book, they refused to listen. They will not reformat the book which is currently unreadable, unsellable and in the worst shape to market any book. They wanted me to pay 149.99 to redo the damage inflicted by their handiwork and I did not think, to pay them again will fix the errors in the book. I told them I wanted them to refund my deposit so I could go somewhere else and they have refused. I was promised 1 month of free revision when I bought the package on their promise. The manager Riz Spencer was quick to wade in and her own take was that the revision only covered minor reviews-" As for the text revisions you want, please understand that they are not considered to be minor revisions". However, I was never told that when I bought the package, as you could see above the 470.00 dollars package has a free 1 month free revision. I will like someone from Word 2 kindle to refund my deposit, I have lost a lot of money on this book, I have to shift back the launching several times. I have paid for advertisement on social media which has contributed to significant financial hardship. If there is zero rating that is waht they deserve.

When I first decided to publish my work on Kindle, I thought I had set it out ok, I was completely wrong as it has to be formatted in a specific way, and my attempt to create a book cover was abysmal. "So what can I do about it?" I asked myself. Then, thankfully I discovered nick@word2Kindle, and I must thank him and his team, they did everything for me from formatting, creating my wonderful book covers, even uploading my work onto Kindle for me. I am grateful to Nick and his patient team, as I am not a technically minded person and could not have done all of this correctly on my own, and without hesitation I shall use nick@word2Kindle for any future work I may have. This is a "promises-shmo-misses" agency!
Be aware: they will make a fool of you for as long as they wish, and my ordeal with them does not end yet!!!
I am thinking now of informing my bank about the fraud and canceling the payment. Yes! That's what I will do!!!

I played Words in the past, then they added NON STOP ADS, half of them you can't click out of, the games are all rigged by AI, giving you all vowels, or no vowels.
WORDS SHOULD BE BANNED.

In the end, DO NOT GO WITH THIS "COMPANY." Pay upfront? My stupidity. They will disappear into a black hole with several "project managers," none of whom is your "designer." You cannot discuss your project with the worker bee. Their communications are endless (mine) and non-existent or through layers of "emergency days off" et al. They will drop your manuscript into a boilerplate, one size does not fit most (I am guessing.) I had to fight, almost go to Congress to get my money back. In the end? Finally, bloodied and defeated many times, I got my money back. Even their reviews do not reflect reality. Study them. All five stars? Look deeper, some are from the same person, and you will find more disgruntled if you search google etc. I would not recommend these guys. Period. A college paper formatted overnight? Perhaps. Half up front. Other half upon completion. Whatever you do, do not pay them all of your fee upfront. You WILL PROBABLY REGRET THAT. I did.

Worst experience EVER!! I paid IN FULL $349.00 October 1st and YESTERDAY was emailed my book! In the beginning I was assigned to Nick Caya who talked me OUT of the $49.00 advertised price then unbeknownst to me I was sent to Meg Dalton where my nightmare just started.
My book is a children's book designed to help with the loss of a pet and the pet in this book was a cat..a CALICO cat and she was a birthday gift for a 5 year old little girl.
Meg CONTINUALLY said she couldn't use the pic I sent her I wanted her to use as my cover...INSTEAD she uses a WHITE very fluffy cat being petted by an extremely elderly woman.
NOTHING was correct. Won't make that mistake again

I highly recommend Word 2 Kindle for writers such as myself who are “green” to the new world of self publishing. I will admit that the whole process was a big learning experience for me but I am 100 percent satisfied with the knowledge, support and expertise of the Word 2 Kindle Team ( especially Meg & Nick ). I published five books between August and December and was totally impressed with the response to my questions, extra time put in to work out publishing of the books and at the same time, totally professional. They don’t deserve 5 stars …Word 2 Kindle gets 10 stars in my world.

As a newbie getting my book published has been a challenge, to say the least. However, Meg has been nothing short of incredible!! She has answered all of my questions within a short amount of time. I really appreciate both her and Nick and their attention to getting my book published. Couldn't have done it without them.

I submitted a PDF file of my book to WORD-2-Kindle so that they could reformat it for uploading to Amazon KDP. After 2 weeks of going back and forth with them, they were unable to produce what I needed. On two occasions I asked for a full refund, and when I did that they suddenly improved what they were providing to me. The third time I told them I didn't have the patience to continually fight with their layout team and wanted a full refund--which they refused to give me.

I want to give thanks to Nick, Marian and all their team for helping me with my first e-book. They worked with me through my "pickyness" so to speak to get my book published. They were prompt in responding to all my requests and questions. I would highly recommend their services.

I really love and appreciate this company! I worked with Nick and I can tell you that this man is on point. He answered all my questions and concerns and he never ever made me feel as though I would regret working with him. I must have asked him the same thing in 4 different ways without realizing it until the manuscript was completed. Lol. I am sure he could tell that this was my first time working with a publishing company, yet he made me feel comfortable with every concern that I expressed. And each department was great as well. When they gave a date as to when any assignment would be completed, it was done at that time or even before. This company was recommended to me by someone very close and I have no regrets whatsoever!
