Good communication, helpful customer service. Delivered in good time.
The company has a physical outlet and I messaged them asking if they would let me try out the wheelchair before purchase, they were happy to oblige and just needed to know the seat size so that they could get one out for me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take them up on their offer because I couldn't get to the store in a timely manner and wanted the wheelchair as soon as possible. So I ordered online.
My wheelchair arrived quicker than I expected and I received good communication from both the company and the courier during the process.
The chair arrived in a big box, assembled apart from the footrests and cushions.
I trialled it in the house first as per the terms and condition of purchasing in case of need to return. Then took it out for it's first ride once I was content that the chair was in a satisfactory condition.
One month's free insurance can be included with wheelchair purchases (if you add it to your basket). I forgot and the company kindly added it for me when I emailed them post-purchase.
VAT relief is available for disabled customers on checking out their basket, which is easier than claiming it back retrospectively.
I'm very pleased with my purchase and would use the company again.

We were delighted with the service and quick delivery. We were also eligible it turns out to not pay VAT because of my husband’s age and disability, and World of Wheels informed us and deducted it from our bill. I wouldn’t’ hesitate to recommend this company and I think they are well worth the 5 stars awarded.

One point of improvement: after acknowledgement of my order I didn't receive the promised communication from the courier about the delivery time/date/tracking number. Luckily someone was at home when the item arrived.
