This is a very clever concept, and we were eager to give it a try. Our first difficulty was finding enough dishes on offer for our pescatarian/vegetarian diet, and ones which also would suit our heat-averse taste buds, as well as meet the minimum order requirements. We eventually filled out our order with a 1-chilli offering of Emperor Cabbage - if this was 1 chilli, we would hate to try anything rated two or three chillies! The other dishes were good, but we probably won't be ordering again unless they offer more vegetarian dishes, and more no-chilli ones.

Great, authentic food that just needs cooking. Everything came ready repaired and helpfully labelled with links to YouTube videos showing exactly how to cook it.

I decided to try one of Wowzabox’s new dishes, Stir Fry Pork Belly with Kimchi. Initial impression wasn’t too good; the pork looking pale and fatty, but what a difference once the slices were fried crisp. The kimchi was the perfect foil too. A delicious dish all round.

Food was lovely, felt very authentic. Delivered on time, very well packed and portion sizes were great. Excellent first experience of WowzaBox, will definitely be ordering again

Great food - easy to prepare - beats a takeaway any day!

With the rising prices of eating out, Wowza is a godsend for affordable, quality and delicious Asian food! I spent less than £70 cooking for 7 friends and they especially loved the Gong Bao Chicken ! The reality of making Asian food in UK is grim as they involve so many different types of ingredients, but Wowza provides a fresh solution! Delivery is always on time and packaging keeps improving. Highly recommended!

Great food and easy cooking method. Would highly recommend!

3 items purchased. Each had a special flavour profile, very authentic and tasty. However the two with meat were let down by the poor level of trimming. The pork steaks had gristle and fat and the chicken was far too fatty. The prawn recipe was wrong in my opinion, after cooking them they should have been put aside instead of continuing to be involved in the rest of the ingredients being cooked. However, despite these concerns I will definitely purchase again as the flavours were a pleasure to consume.

I ordered 5 different meals but the use by date said they all needed using after 3 days which was a little frustrating. Some of the chicken isn't boneless which wasn't mentioned anywhere although this isn't a problem. I was unable to add extras in to my basket, such as rice or noodles, not sure why but again, no big deal. Overall, this is a great concept, worth trying if you fancy some tasty and easy to cook meals.

Food arrived on time with good comms about its delivery schedule. Food was fresh, plentiful, easy to cook having watched the vids (I did 3 different dishes in one go), and delicious. Will definitely use again and recommend.

Amazing from start to finish, Great recipes with simple cooking.... the only thing was I think that we need more Woks for the amount of dish we s we ordered!!

Good quality ingredients with minimal cooking. Every meal we have had so far is so much better than a take away and no where near the cost. The flavours seem so authentic compared to meal box Asian recipes. Would highly recommend

Food is delicious and the process is efficient

This is authentic Chinese food that isn’t like your typical takeaway. The YouTube videos help make sure you know what you’re doing.

Very poor for the price and cheap cuts of meat/chicken. Would not recommend cheaper getting a takeaway.

Second time we’ve ordered as the first was exceptional. Wowzabox is now our go to for Chinese food! No point using the Local takeaway when we use Wowzabox for great portions and epic taste every time!

Every dish was simple (5-20mins), ingredients arrived prepared and had been well thought out for ease especially with the videos to watch before starting. I lived in China for many and have been disappointed by restaurants/take aways since returning but these dishes were truly authentic with flavours of Sichuan, cumin and many more.
