Booked car to take me to medical appointment 24 hours in advance. No show at booked time. After 2 phone calls a car finally arrived to collect me 25m late. The driver told me he had only received the call to collect me after my phone calls. The last time I tried to use this company (to collect me from the hospital about 2 years ago) no one turned up at all and I was told heavy traffic was to blame. This is not a company that can be relied on.

I contacted this company again as I was pleased with the service I had previously experienced. This time the driver had his meter on his right side so I couldn’t see it. He asked me which route I wanted to go and I told him the cheapest. It took a long time and he said the cheapest wasn’t necessarily the quickest. He could have told me. I told him that when I booked they told me it would be £15 but he quoted £20 and if I paid £15 he would have to pay the remaining £5 himself. He eventually charged me £20. He was very scheming. I was grateful for his help with the luggage but i like to,make up my own mind regarding tips. I’ll probably go to another company next time. From my experience drivers spend a long time working out how they can get more money out of you rather than just getting you to your destination ss quickly as possible. In future I will get a fixed rate.

Booked taxi in afternoon.to pick up early evening.did not turn up onti.e half hour late .rang office who was not intrested.had a call saying the was the drive.number was from office .would never use as liares untrust worthy tryed. to complain. Phone was just cut off. This was booked for my mother

Lucky to get 1 star. Ordered a taxi to take me from watage to Volunteer inn at Grove. Less than 3 miles. Wanted £23. Absolutely disgusting

Pre-booked and paid the night before for MK Station, they called 15 mins prior to the booking time to get an additional £3 payment as the App had underestimated the price.

They didn't mention that the driver would be 15 mins late! Resulting in missing the train and disruption to the onward journey to the airport.

No help when I called the office, no management available.

I would urge you not to use this cab company if you want to arrive on time.

Complete joke, called for a taxi to pick me and my mum up at the hospital. The said they would get one, taxi called and said he arrived and I said thank you im just bringing my mum down in a wheelchair chair now. Got outside to find he left. What a dirty dirty man. I called again and they said he left because he had to wait. An absolute joke and my mum had to wait in the hall way as the bed was taken after we left. I’d love to meet up with this taxi driver.

Shocking app, told us taxi would be 5 minutes. Waiting 20 then rang to only be told that we need time to sort a taxi and the app “doesn’t work too well”, and told the taxi would be a further 30 minutes

I don't get it... I book a taxi well in advance and receive a message which states "confirmed"... so if its confirmed and booked well in advance why is it constantly late and I don't mean a couple of minutes there's no cab in the area. Doesn't confirmed mean we confirm your booking/request. It if you can't provide the service then you shouldn't confirm the booking. You have made my son late on several occasions now due to this as he has had to cancel you BECAUSE YOU'RE LATE/NO TAXI IN THE FACINITY and had to find another taxi company

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with this taxi company during a trip from Headington to Oxford Train Station. The estimated fare for the journey was £11, but I ended up being charged £16. This overcharge occurred because the driver chose to take a longer route instead of following the recommended one, which I later confirmed with their agents over the phone.

I had explicitly told the driver that I needed to catch my train on time, but he said that he could not get me there that quickly. He suggested taking another route, which I agreed to, as I am new to the area and trusted his recommendation. Unfortunately, it turned out to be unnecessarily long, and I was left footing the bill for his poor judgment.

When I raised my concerns with the company via telephone and through emails they acknowledged that the driver had taken the longer route, but outright refused to issue a refund. I actually got to catch my train because it was delayed for over 30 minutes not because the driver got there in time for me to get on the train. If the train was not delayed I would have missed it! Their customer service response was dismissive, leaving me feeling taken advantage of.

This experience was both frustrating and costly, and I cannot recommend this company. If you’re new to the area or on a tight schedule, be extremely cautious as they may exploit your lack of familiarity. I will certainly not be using their services again.

Rude driver arrived late then waited three whole minutes, unannounced. When we spotted him finally he refused to take us to the station meaning we missed our train

Excellent 2 way journey in Oxford city. Easy booking. Paid by card. No hassle. Bang on time despite minimal notice. Polite and friendly clean comfortable. Perfect. Thanks.

My son took a taxi in Oxford in 2024 and when he swiped his card, the POS machine displayed an amount of £ 15.2, but the bill he received was £ 4515.2. Afterwards, a driver called my son and said he had overcharged and had to manually refund, asking for his bank card information. He refund only £ 0.9 to my son . We think this payment should be refunded to the original payment credit card, I suspect there may be fraud involved here.

We had occasion to book a return journey from Kidlington to Blenheim palace for the Battle proms which is only a 3 mile journey and was given a fixed price of £18 each way which we thought was steep but agreed to. Dropping off was no problem but when it came to picking up the driver phoned to say that the gates were locked and he couldn't get in. He then cancelled the booking. I spoke to an official who showed me an information sheet which was sent to all taxi firms showing them the designated route and drop-off point for the evening.
We rang the company to rebook. The second driver also said that he was having difficulty getting in but did eventually turn up. When we arrived at our destination he charged us £28 !!! When we queried this he said that he had had to go via Chipping Norton ! We said that that was not our fault. We argued about the fare but reluctantly paid it. The whole process spoilt what had been a very enjoyable day.
We will definitely never use 001 taxis, not would we recommend them. 😡

There is a very dangerous driver who works for 001 taxis and he lives down my road. Last year he was speeding in Abingdon, on the Wootton Road roundabout, he was driving so fast while we had been safely crossing the road. I was walking to school with my son, and if I hadn’t been paying careful attention I don’t know if we would be here today!!!! He didn’t even stop he just sped off so fast leaving everyone completely shocked with his dangerous driving.

Then again today whilst I was walking home from walking my dog, he reversed his car off his drive and almost ran us over again! As he was not looking what he was doing, I had to move so quickly backwards with my dog to make sure we were not hit! Luckily I have witnesses who saw it all happen. This man should not be driving a taxi let alone on the road at all.

He has a blue Toyota Prius - be careful as he isn’t!

Poor service. Booked a taxi at 7am. for 15:30, taxi arrived 16 minutes late. I had a train to catch, which I couldn't be late for.
When I spoke to the operator, I was told it was basically my fault because I booked during school traffic. I then explained as well as my taxi arriving late, I get charged double for being stuck in traffic, like the previous day. Obviously no forward planning for customers.
Previous day, was charged twice the amount because of being stuck in traffic. Late and a rip off will never use again. Avoid at all costs

I am giving 0 stars, this company and some of their drivers are so incompetent, I have permanently deleted my account, my contactless failed yesterday (I could still use the card, it was just the contactless), after I tapped the card, I left because I was almost late for work and was annoyed at the driver’s attitude (explained below), anyways instead of these individuals to email me because I didn’t pick the call that was coming from their rude driver called Mansour who refused to drop me at my destination claiming he would be fined which is a big lie because other drivers have dropped me there with no issues (dude almost made me late for work which he knew he was taking me to), these guys couldn’t email me or call me with their actual office line instead of a mobile number so I could rectify the issue of the payment instead they blocked me permanently from booking a taxi, extremely extremely incompetent and rude!!!! It really gets into the head of some of these drivers that they have a car as if that makes them a billionaire smh!!!!
