I ordered a gluten free birthday for our Mom's 90th birthday party over a week in advance and arranged for it to be delivered one day before the party to make sure it arrived in time. Apparently UPS didn't pick up the cake from the bakery on time, but the bakery did made it right by having it delivered the morning of the party. Everyone loved the cake and couldn't tell it was gluten free. The only issue I had was that the bakery didn't communicate that the cake was going to be delayed...I only saw from the UPS tracking that it had never been picked up so I paid for a second cake at a local bakery believing it couldn't get to us in time. I had to pay extra for a rush gluten free order. While 1-800bakery did everything to get us the cake in time, they failed to communicate what was going on and when I phoned the bakery, all I got was voice mail. I could have saved myself the money and the time buying a second cake. The product was great, the delivery was slightly delayed but made it in time...the communication between customer and bakery could be better. I will give them another chance for sure as the cake was wonderful.

It was delivered on time, but I had a terrible time getting hold of the company. I had typed in the wrong house number and I left four messages and nobody called back. I finally send an e-mail and got a response. Was not fun.

I purchased a birthday cake from 1-800-Bakery.com for my 19 year-old daughter's first birthday away from home and the cake never arrived. Pretty much an epic fail for a mom and also for 1-800-Bakery.com.

I ordered a cake for my wife's birthday party. The shipping date was confirmed and my credit card was billed.

The Cake never showed up and it took neearly 3 hrs to get thru to customer service. When I finally got thru they were very nice but eere not able to get me a cake until the day after the party.

I beg of you, do not trust your loved one's special event to this company.

I ordered the coffee cake for a friend's birthday on Monday to be delivered on Friday. It arrived by noon and he told me that it was excellent and he ate every last crumb. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to order again.

They went an extra step to verify a complicated address and make an ontime delivery. I appreciate the great customer service.

Everything I ordered was delicious. However, a few of the cookies came broken, which was a bit of bummer.
