1 star is still one too many!
Ordered and paid deposit back in September 2023 (£900) booked survey and work for November and didn't turn up. Then again when rearranged, apparently didnt have time to get to me. Then contacted and rearranged having booked time off from my job, only to be fobbed off again with a car breaking down as the reason for no show. Asked again and rebooked again no show. Then no contact for weeks and eventually given another short notice date and asked to measure my own doors!

Ive since asked for a refund and guess what?! No contact not answering the phone and not replying oh and no refund! I have all the emails initially received and the call log should they respond and suggest that i was a difficult customer. My mum passed away so I was happy to work with their time frame but 8months on….no money and no doors!!!

Ordered nine doors from doorz ltd in Bury, second lot for upstairs the joiner tells me he got the wrong handles but would fit and replace week after. Nine months on excuse after excuse, they did not even know what handles I ordered or how many of them had to be replaced!!. Last email several weeks ago promising a refund the difference. Nothing, now blocked off facebook and emails being returned. Sent two recorded letters one to an address the company is registered to got a text message back threatening action for harassment! Reported to trading standards and going to small claims court! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Shot themselves in the foot I was going to get them to fit my parents house!

Had all upstairs doors fitted they damaged the granite floor in the bathroom and some of the doors won't shut properly got in touch before Christmas and still waiting tried several times to get them back no reply

Anyone thinking of having new doors fitted do be CAUTIOUS when using Doorz ltd . Had 7 internal linear doors fitted in November (after them cancelling the installation date twice last minute blaming a joiner leaving)

When the fitters did eventually turn up the job took a full day working into the late dark evening as one door they brought was the incorrect size so one of the fitters had to travel back to Leeds to collect a new door. Nice set of fellas tbh and I was very appreciative of them completing every door in one day..... roll on 2 and a half months later, one of the locks in the door failed locking my daughter in her room for nearly 2hrs before we got home.

We dismantled the handle and lock to see it was jammed solid and had to damage the door to get her out (god fobid there was a fire whilst we were away and her home alone!) After contacting them, the reply I got was we should have called their 'after service department' of which I was never made aware of by the way and I'm pretty sure wouldn't have travelled from Leeds on a Sunday evening to come and get my daughter safely out of her room!

The next email I got was "if I was to have more work done by them, they could consider a discount as they do not make any profit on the price of providing the doors". Now, over 2 weeks later, all my emails are being ignored and guess what...I'm removed from being able to comment on their Facebook page 🫣. Bad decision for them really, as I'd already lined up 2 more jobs for them from family and friends which obviously I have now contacted to say do not use this business.

The doors I had fitted were £179 each and extra for treating and removal of the old doors, so it's not like we've paid peanuts for 7 new doors.
At first when you are a new customer looking for estimates, they reply evening and weekend, but once you have a complaint your emails will be ignored.

Any questions from anyone on here, I'm happy to answer and provide screenshots of emails and pictures of the broken lock etc.

Be very CAUTIOUS when using Doors ltd.

Paid a deposit, never turned up after cancelling and rescheduled appointments

Bought a 'hardwood' external door. Turns out it's 'engineered hardwood' which actually means it's engineered chipboard with a thin veneer of hardwood.

Absolute rubbish.

Find that the information provided with it say that it must not be exposed to either sun or rain, so what sort of external door is that?

Emailed company but the hopeless half-wits can't even be bothered to respond, despite follow ups.

Avoid these people.

Placed an order with Kershaws Doors on 10/09/15 only to receive letter dated 16/09/15 stating company in Voluntary Liquidation. We have lost almost £3500. This company does not deserve any stars.

Obviously far from happy that having placed an order a week ago, instead of taking delivery of that order, I receive a notice advising that the "director of the Company (Kershaw Doors Ltd) … has decided to take steps to place the Company into Creditors' Voluntary Liquidation."
Not sure even the single star is deserved!

Very helpful organising the delivery to suit my needs.
The only minor criticism being the proportions of the panelling on the door not being quite what was expected - it was an extra large door and differed from those illustrated. Possibly my fault for not checking specifically.

Ordered an old style door which they unfortunately couldn't get hold of for me. However they offered me a slightly different one which was just as good, got in stock very quickly and rang to let me know it was in. Top service throughout.

They have a wide range of doors, from which I was able to select the doors that met my needs. The price was reasonable, and they kept me informed about my order, which arrived on time.

Hi, I found kershaws easy to deal with, the staff werepolie and reacted well to enquiries. A slight problem with delivery was easily overcome. All in all I'd recommend them.

I have a large order and without knowing the full technical requirements of the product but the staff was really helpful . Many thanks

The second time of using Kershaw doors and both times they have been extremely efficient and professional. They even went the extra mile to source some handles that we needed that they were no longer stocking. Will use again if needed and recommend to others.

Ordering a made to measure door for the first time was a concern however the door has just arrived and is top quality and looks absolutely wonderful now oiled.

Excellent from start to finish. The door was as described. But the delivery people were second to none I have never experienced a delivery company like it constantly kept in touch and even when I was not home they had no problem with delivering to a neighbour a lot of couriers could learn a lot from these guys.

Really impressed with value for money and quality of hardwood external French doors. Would definitely use them again or recommend.
