After 2 days of research into portable oxygen devices, the conclusion was nothing on Amazon gave me all the features I was looking for. Then internet searches revealed only a handful of devices that... See more

We’ll see if I picked the right one.
Sleazy business practices
I bought a Philips SimplyGo in July of 2023. 4 months later it stopped working. I sent it in for repairs which took almost 10 months. During that time first class offered me nothing.
This July it failed again. I called first class for a reference for a local repair and they wouldn’t give me one they said I could call the factory for references. Well that didn’t work. I called them on July 27 and told them the problem but I was hesitant to send it to them and wait another 10 months.
Finally , finding no one local I called back on Aug 1st and they flat out said they wouldn’t honor the warranty because I called one day out of warranty even though they were notified of the problem within warranty. Very sleazy. they are still selling Philips even though Philips went out of the oxygen business a year ago. Do not trust these people.
Quick and to the point
Quick and to the point. Better went over everything and I even understood it
I would like to express my deepest…
I would like to express my deepest dissatisfaction with 1st Class Medical as a company and their ARYA Airtivo model P2 as a product.
I will start with the product. I originally purchased the product sometime back in 2021. My first impression was mixed. I liked the battery life and its quick charging. Its major draw-back at that time was compressor noise. There was a loud pop and hiss as the compressor engaged and released, loud enough to be clearly heard while watching TV and it can disturb sleep. I have since purchased a different manufactures' unit which is ninety percent quieter, just to compare apples to apples.
The unit lasted less than a year when it gave me a “<83% O2 Level” Warning. I called 1st Class Medical and they honored the warranty for a cost of $50-$75; however I would need to return my unit to them and they would then ship the replacement, turn around time 10-14 days. If I wanted to preform an exchange return it would cost me $150. This for a product I paid them thousands of dollars for.
I opted for the exchange return. The replacement unit lasted about eight months. Again I had to pay $150 for the exchange return process. We are now up to $300 out-of-pocket for warranty repairs. The Third unit lasted less than a year.
By now 1st Class Medical had been busy and amended their return policy. Not only would it cost me $150 for the exchange but I would be required to make an $850 deposit to insure their ill designed product was not damaged, This is when I decided to cut my losses and go elsewhere.
To wrap-up this review I would like to say I did talk to a customer service supervisor. That was the worst experience of all. She told me that the product was perfect and her company took absolutely no responsibility nor acknowledged that the product was faulty. She additionally implied that I had a bad attitude and was expecting too much from them and their product. My closing advice: Stay away from the ARYA product and 1st Class medical entirely, neither deserve to exist.

Misleading Trade-In Terms and Poor Company Accountability
I wish I could leave a better review, but my recent experience with 1st Class Medical was deeply disappointing. I responded to a trade-in offer that was clearly outlined in writing, but the final transaction didn’t match what was advertised. I was charged more than expected, key items were not included, and despite multiple attempts to get clarity, I was told I had misunderstood — which I had not.
While one representative I spoke with was polite and professional, the company’s overall handling of the situation fell short of expectations. I’ve since had to purchase necessary accessories elsewhere at additional cost. For a company that serves people with serious medical needs, the lack of accountability and support was frustrating.
Would not recommend based on this experience.

Do not do business with this company
Do not do business with this company. They are not reputable. We purchased a $2100 refurbished machine needed for my 10 year old grandson who couldn’t leave the hospital without one. He is on oxygen full time. Within 2 months it malfunctioned and it cost another $850 to exchange it for another machine, 8 days later. He couldn’t go to school or play outside while waiting for a replacement. I was reassured that after the company checked out the defective machine it would most likely be replaced and the $850 would be returned. Nope- they determined it was our fault and all but $200 of that money was lost. The machines thus company sells are very expensive and totally not reliable, and customer service was a complete disappointment. Don’t let this happen to you.

Emily Brinkman did a great job explaining the need for a new machine and then about the new machine (AryaQ) and it's cost.
Feeling Scammed Right About Now
I paid $2,340 on Sunday October 6, 2024 for a refurbished Arya Go with a 16 cell battery and was told by the representative at the time, Jake, that I would have a 3 year extended warranty included with my purchase for this price. Other agents have told me that I only have a one year warranty since my concentrator is refurbished. Either the other agents are lying or Jake is lying. Either way, I feel cheated and scammed. On May 22, 2024 Jake confirmed over the phone that my machine has a 3 year warranty and said he could send me an invoice confirming the 3 year warranty. I have never received the invoice and has since been ignored in my email communications to Jake with the general customer support email CCed. This company was quick to reach out to me even on a Sunday when I placed my order but now that I have an issue with them, it's crickets.
