From the beginning Sarah was above and beyond helpful in figuring out how to move my belongings from London to Edinburgh. The pick up went smoothly. They stored my belongings till I moved in to my new flat. They were flexible on my timings and delivered super quick!

The service was reasonably priced but the customer service from everyone involved was priceless!

I needed a moving company to help me move my excess luggage across a 51 miles distance on a one day notice. 1st Movers gave me a fair price (and also the best!). The customer service was very friendly and good. The driver was very courteous, kind and cooperative. He went out of his way to help us and made sure everything was sorted properly at the destination. It was really a great experience and it couldn't have gone any better. I would use again and totally recommend it.

Not only was it very reasonable in price especially when compared to other companies, thier service as well was exceptional. From the operator on the phone Sarah, to the individuals Alan and Jacob who helped carry my bags from my room till the place I had moved to, were all so amazing and so kind. I was given an ETA and updates any time I required. Thank you all for such good service and kindness, it is highly appreciated.

We moved from Manchester to Edinburgh.
we tried to obtain several quotations and they were all few times more expensive than 1st move

We saw great comment on 1st move in various places, so we chose 1st move and turned out everything went smoothly

Could not fault the company at all. Very helpful on the phone in order to get the correct size of van for a move from Edinburgh - Newcastle. They expect payment once collection has happened, they did phone but were happy for me to phone back as I was still busy sorting things out. The mover sent was first rate, accommodating and wasn’t fazed by being stuck in traffic at a major junction near Newcastle which delayed both he and us (following in a car). Will definitely be using again

Amazing service - fast both packing and unpacking, goods were handled with care, communicative the entire way. Made moving from England to Scotland a breeze.

through every step of the journey – from an initial enquiry I made through the website, to a helpful telephone call from Edna confirming what I was looking to book, through to the team collecting my belongings from Glasgow and bringing to me in London – the service provided by 1st Movers has been excellent.
I would definitely use 1st Movers again without any hesitation.

1st Movers website indicate they're experienced piano movers.
However, they subcontracted my job to a Man and Van and tried to tell me they were their employees (It was confirmed by the Man&Van that he was a separate company).
They carried the piano to a van parked down the road in -9c temperatures (very icy) with no protection around the piano, they laid the piano down on its back in a transit van with no strapping or protection. Only gravity holding it in place and drove 180miles to the delivery address.
Not what I expected from an 'experienced' piano removal company.
1st Movers, haven't replied to my emails or calls since - have reported to trading standards.
My advice would be to avoid this company!

Careless handling of furniture lead to damage to furniture and the building I was moving out of. Refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused. Would not recommend

I was moving a very heavy, fragile and valuable custom made door/ window frame from London to Stirlingshire.

Very helpful and pleasant office staff. A fair price for the delivery. Delivery very driver was a skilful driver (managed to get the Luton Van into a very tight driveway) and assisted in moving a very heavy item safely into my garage. I will certainly use them again if I need a similar service.

Quick easy communication. Delivery efficiently carried out. No damage to contents. I would trust them for future moves.

We had a piano removal up an incredibly tight stairwell. 1st Movers were incredible and really took the time to work out the logistics required to make this move happen. We don't think many other piano movers could have done the job. Big thank you the movers - Damian and his team! We definitely recommend using 1st Movers for any piano removal.

Phenomenal service. Needed a van and crew very last minute and 1st Movers found me exactly what I was looking for and kept me updated prior to my move. Excellent communication before the move, a check-in mid-move and follow up call afterwards. Moving crew were skilled, efficient and helpful in what is quite a stressful situation.
