You ordered a BMD Video Assist from our website over the Weekend of the 13/14th Feb (Despite the info saying call for lead time on this unit) via our web, With various other items. We Tried to contact you yesterday (despite providing us with the Wrong Telephone number on your order) to inform you of the stock levels of the BMD Video Assist, when we did get hold of you yesterday (15/02/2016), you did ask us to cancel the order. I did explained to you the Accountant who does the refunds on PayPal was on Holiday and was back in TODAY 16th Feb 2016. Your Refund has been done with PayPal today as promise on the 16th. So to give a 1 star review for something you have already been informed about and at the time was OK with is very churlish indeed.


Re you now making this a 2 star review even more Churlish of you.

Your Refund as I said to you yesterday (15/02/2016) would be put back onto your PayPal account by our accountant once he was back from his holiday which was today and the refund was done today the 16th of Feb. Re "fast to answer" As everybody can see there are always to sides to every story.

An absolute breath of fresh air to deal with

I've dealt with a lot of online sellers for larger distributors, and I can't tell you how efficient 3D is in comparison.

Very Responsive

I needed something in a hurry and after a telephone enquiry I received a call 5 minutes later and was able to pick up the items the following morning after receiving a call to say they had received delivery from the supplier.

Excellent customer service all round.

Excellent transaction - all went smoothly and very good price too - worth mentioning that I placed my order between Christmas and New Year and they still managed to achieve a next day delivery - impressive customer service over the holiday period, many thanks.

Terrible customer service

I actually phoned up today asking where my product is that I ordered 4 days ago as I paid £15 for next day delivery but received nothing still as of yet. When I phoned up the person was extremely rude and would not let me even get a word out, instead he spoke over me and told me that my lights would be delivered on Monday.... I ordered an ME66 microphone not lights. If my order doesn't come by Friday I am requesting a full refund. I am absolutely disgusted in how I have been treated seeing as they have taken £142 out of my account with no product and not even an email to explain what is happening. That is the last time I will use their services. They definitely need better customer service and a better system for answering queries over the holidays, a voicemail or an email to explain that over the holidays they are closed would have been enough, not someone being abrupt on the second day of a new year.

You called on Saturday the 2nd January, we were actually closed and our Christmas opening times were clearly marked on our web for you to see, Even though we were closed we always try to answer calls no matter the time.

As I explained on the phone I was actually standing in my hallway just going out the door and as such had no access to the internet or your order, so forgive me if I thought you were talking about a different order. You would also have heard a very noisy little 3 year old boy, who was very excited to be going to the zoo with his dad and granddad, to which I did apologise for.

The item you require does state on our web that this item is sent direct from Sennheiser Germany and is on a normal 2-3 day lead time from date of purchase, You did purchase this item late on the 30th December and I did let you know that this item would have to come direct from Sennehiser Germany as stated on the web, to you and that they are closed until the 4th January 2016.

As you paid via PayPal it is PayPal who take your payment direct from your account, not 3D Broadcast Ltd. I did offer to you on the phone that if you were not happy with the situation that we would happily cancel the order for you, to which you said No it was fine.

I am sorry you feel that my attention was somewhat lacking, normally I don’t have a 3 year old shouting excitedly in my ear in the office. Once again I am sorry, but this is sometimes what happens when you order over the Christmas period, we are after all a B2B company and not a Shop and as such normal working times do not apply to our manufactures over the festive period.

I will of course refund your PayPal Account.

Hi all invoices are sent out in PDF form so I would check your spam folder just in case it has dropped there, failing that if you could email us your details I can send the invoice again, sorry to say we do not have a Suzuki on our records as ever purchasing from us, and as such I can't just send you a copy as I don't know who you are?

Honest Chaps

I've placed at least 10 orders with this company, including reservations. I find they are honest in predicting when items will arrive. I have found their advice many useful across cameras, lens, adaptors, sound and lighting.

Alternative product sent without consultation, disappointing attitude

I ordered a £252 daylight LED lamp, and without consulting me, an alternative, cheaper, bi-coloured LED lamp was sent out instead. I only discovered that it was a different product when I had completely unpacked it. No mention of this was given in the packaging or by email, and no offer was made to refund the difference until I called up to question what had happened.

The gentleman I spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive of my situation and did not once apologise about the alternative product being sent out. He very confusingly kept saying (words to the effect of) "the lamp you have is actually more expensive" when in black and white on the website it states that it is £18 cheaper than the one I wanted and had paid for. Despite me reminding him of this, he continued to make me feel I was being stupid as the lamp I had was absolutely "more expensive", which was just baffling! He repeatedly stated that a new price list would soon be coming out and that the bi-coloured lamp will then be more expensive. I can't fathom why this would be when a bi-coloured lamp gives out much less power, however if it is the case it was still completely irrelevant to my situation as these 'new' prices were not listed. His manner also suggested that the £18 difference simply wasn't worth me worrying about. The lamp I wanted was stated as being in stock on the website, however it turned out there was a 3 week lead time - if I had known this I would not have ordered it.

The salesperson did say I could send it back, however I needed the lamp for a shoot a couple of days later and did not have time to obtain the correct product elsewhere. He eventually agreed to refund the difference in cost but only when I requested it.

On checking the website today (2 weeks later) both lamps are listed at the original price, with the bi-coloured lamp still being cheaper. I am a former Picture Editor and know a lot of high profile photographers, if the salesperson had known this I doubt I would have been dealt with in this way. I will certainly never, ever use this company again and will not recommend them to any of my contacts.

As I tried to explain to you on the phone the Lishuai C-300R Daylight lamp head price was incorrectly priced on out website at the time of your purchase and was priced more expensive than the C-300RS bicolour light,

When I checked with the UK distributor for Lishuai, I was informed that the Daylight lamp which you purchased was in stock, when they came to dispatch the light directly to you for next day delivery, they became aware the Daylight lamp was not in stock as had previously been stated and decided to send out the bicolour light at no extra expense to yourself.

Please let me assure you, you are not getting an inferior product with the bicolour light (bicolour lights are always more expensive than Daylight lamps as they obviously give you a Tungsten/Daylight option).

I am very sorry that the gesture of sending a bicolour lamp at no additional cost did not fit your needs or purpose. When you phoned us we were happy to refund you the £18 difference.


With regards the price of the lamps on our web I can assure you the prices have been changed to reflect the fact the Bicolour lamp is more expensive than the Daylight lamp and I can only assume you may have picked up the old URL though Goggle as this sometimes does happen if you have not refreshed your Cache for some time.

Great service and fast delivery.

I purchased an Anton Bauer charger and a couple of V90 batteries from 3D as they were the cheapest online, they were ordered in the afternoon and delivered by courier the next morning.
Very impressive service.
