Really just an honest and genuine company to deal with. There was slight delay on something I had ordered so Andy offered to upgrade to a better version sooner and at no extra charge. Refreshingly decent and prompt service by good and well run company.

I originally wanted to order a set of shocks and springs for my Pajero from OME, but they were out of stock, and weren't expected to be restocked for over 3 months due to the manufacturer. It would have been nice if they'd stated the delay on their website, but through emails with Andy about the delay, I was convinced to go with another manufacturer, Terrain Tamer, which added torsion bars as well. Andy has been great in answering my emails and providing helpful service, I received the new set quickly and am already installing it on my car.

Be very cautious when purchasing from this company if you're based in the EU. I found their pricing and sales tactics to be misleading and lacking in transparency — far from what I would consider ethical business practices. My experience dealing with the business owner and 4x4 Works has left me with serious concerns, and I would not consider doing business with them again.

Poor customer service, suspension shock failed after around 300 miles road use. Faulty weld but they’ve blamed faulty fitting. Googled the fault and it’s a common problem with old man emu shocks. No off road use.
It’s amazing that from a couple of pictures and a short video you seem to know more than a professional welder and a mechanic who has restored, fixed and welded hundreds of landrovers for over 20 years. The weld is not up to standard, the vehicle is used on the road. So no over use. I’ve taken up with the bank as your approach is so poor.

And if you have need a refund they don't want to fight you for it 🤣

Really helpful, freindly and professional. They stock a great range of parts and the service is top notch! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Placed an order with 4x4works for some SumoSprings - but the lead time didn't work for me (My issue, not 4x4works). A quick email exchange, and a speedy resolution to my problem - couldn't fault the service.

I could not find any company that could provide Ford Ranger Raptor brake pads and send them to the Isle of Mull. 4x4 works did, and they were received in super quick time. JSK (Scott) on Mull has just fitted them for me and he told me to write a review as in his words "these are first class top quality brake pads and complete with all the springs". So thank you 4x4 Works!! Top Drawer service.

4x4works sold me springs that had a height difference and disbalance in them. One of the springs sat lower with less compression. He wont take responsibilty to fix the issue.

He says that my shop installed them incorrectly and that it distored the springs over 4 months, and now they are bent.

However, the problem was there from day one and did not increase or decrease over time. So that is unlikely.

Also, i had the old springs swapped, and installed again, and the syptoms were exactly the same (but on the other side). Its impossible for a spring to be installed wrongly and generate symptoms. And after correcting the fault, the symtoms remain exactly the same! Thats impossible.

In the end, i spend 500 bucks to have a 4x4 specialist (Saris 4x4 Valburg) fix it with exaxt same new springs, and the problem is fixed! They put on paper that they are 100% sure that the springs had a production error in them, and thats its impossible to have happend because of improper installation. Even with this on paper, 4x4works wont fix the problem. He does not awnser my questions, but instead uses strawman arguments to make it look like it’s my fault. If you read them, please give your awnsers here 4x4works.

In the end, i opened a case with the creditcard company to get my money back.

He won’t answer this questions:

Why were the symptoms exactly the same from day one when it was installed vs day 100 when the springs were reinstalled correctly?

Because they were not wrongly installed, but because one of the springs had a production error in them.

Who do you believe? 4x4works, who knows everything so well from just pictures, but a specialist in 4x4 who refitted news springs and have no ties or interests in me or ARB are “wrong”. Oh and they are a supplier of ARB too.

Very helpfull, friendly and efficient people. a real asset to the 4x4 driving community.

Can't rate these guys highly enough. I bought the Autohome Columbus LandRover roof tent, and Brendan and Mike spent all morning fitting the roof tent on to my Roof Rack, which wasn't easy and required some re-engineering. There were no quibbles, no issues, just a real customer service attitude and get the job done. Brilliant service and I would easily use again.

UPDATE! This trader failed in their court action against me today and had their claim thrown out. The Court also ruled their returns policy is ILLEGAL!. Just goes to show up their empty words below! Let's see if they change the website descriptions and returns policy. In my experience they refuse to accept returns without the buyer paying the postage and taking a 15% admin charge EVEN WHEN IT IS THEIR FAULT. Totally against the Sale of Goods Act, which they don't seem to have heard of. I bought an OME suspension lift kit in January advertised as a complete kit with no need to buy any additional parts. Except it doesn't include the leaf spring bushes, which are required and cost a total of £263 on top of the parts they supply. They say in many places that it's "a complete kit with nothing more required". Took the issue to the card company who sided with me and refunded the money. Now these jokers are threatening me with the Police and Courts! Bring it on, I've offered them the parts back and they refuse to take them. It's like dealing with a 3 year old! The point is that the kit is described as complete and it is not. If this retailer doesn't supply the bits required to make it a "complete kit" then they shouldn't describe it as a "complete kit" and "requiring no additional parts". I've paid for the parts I could use. There was a further order for a £500 rear camera which I cancelled because of this and they even tried to avoid refunding that, even though they hadn't even supplied it yet! Their excuse was that they may have ordered it from their suppliers, it wasn't a special order item! I think their reply shows their complete ignorance of the Sale of Goods Act and the Consumer Rights Act and their attitude shows the need for both of those pieces of legislation.

Ordered a part for my l200, unfortunately the part wasn’t compatible .I contacted the company to let them know the problem, they replied straight away and advised me what to do next. Excellent communication and service.will use this company again.

Brilliant service . I contacted Andy via the chat service on the website , explained what I needed and he sorted everything from there . They answered all my questions promptly and delivered the Koni dampers quickly as promised . I would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where do I start, first off I sent an enquiry regarding a 2" lift kit on the 1st Jan 2024 late afternoon explaining everything I was doing to the vehicle and its uses, not expecting a reply till Tuesday, Andy got back to me that evening with a link to the exact kit I required and other links for other equipment that I hope to be buying later in the year(I'm spent up for now😫 5 new tyres going on too)
I placed the order early evening of the 1st, it arrived around 10ish on Wednesday 3rd, what a nice change to deal with a excellent company.

Researched this EVC throttle controller product through the Jimny blogs and decided to purchase one and give it a go not expecting too much !
Well............ I fitted it in less than 5mins and the results were quite remarkable. I fitted it to my New Shape JImny 2023 and it has put the lacking "Zip" in the whole driving experience.
Well done EVC, a perfect Modification at a reasonable price, much cheaper than a new air intake and or new exhaust. "Perfect"

Everything about this company is slick. The order was with me in Anglesey within 24 hrs or the order. I needed something changing and the email responses were quick, proactive and helpful. Andy done a great job and I would 100% use again. The 2 man swag I ordered looks great and is a quality product.

I placed an order for special parts for my old vehicle (Toyota Land cruiser Hj61 from 1988) which I easily found at 4X4 WORKS.
My order was quickly taken over by the company Thursday 04/05/2023 at 8:03 pm and I was delivered this morning Saturday 06/05/2023 at 9:43 am.
I was very surprised and pleasantly surprised.
Because I was expecting to be delivered early next week.
The team took into account not only the demand for parts, but also my situation as I am broken down and stuck at home with the 4X4. And the follow-up in France was also effective.
I lived with this first purchase experience on the site 4X4 WORKS a great experience. Because this is also the first time that I buy on an English site... and I’m delighted.
