Good response to my problem.
There was an issue with a made to measure frame but this was quickly replaced to my satisfaction at no cost. Items ordered at the same time did not arrive even tho shown on the delivery note and I had to phone to learn these were out of stock.

Prompt delivery but not as detailed on website
The frame arrived promptly - however it was not as described on the website. The website details stated that the frame came with glass, but in actual fact it was plastic. I contacted 4x90.com about this and they said it was a typo on their website. In my view this was false advertising rather than a typo. The frame looks fine - and the plastic is completely clear like glass - so it was not a huge deal, but they should take better care in describing their products.

Excellent service at a budget price
I ordered 6 budget frames and two clipframes. They came very promptly, were carefully packed and delivered at the time promised. The service overall is extremely good and reliable. My only regret is that the budget frames (not surprisingly) are not very well made and can be awkward to assemble and use: the very sharp gripping strips and the somewhat feeble hanging hooks made hanging a small exhibition a bit precarious. However, once hung everything looked very smart at a very low price. I would use this firm in future but perhaps invest a bit more in better frames..
