Just needed some spare parts. Arrived nice and quickly and no problems.

I can't remember when I was so excited about a new coffee machine! Dialing in my favorite coffees was not easy and took a long time, but the results are satisfactory.

The coffee pot has stopped working after only 1 week of light use. I'm currently awaiting rather expensive descaling agent.
Very disappointed

We've been using our machine for the past 3 years and it's honestly an amazing piece of engineering. With the help of a decent grinder, you can produce espresso that is just as good as the expensive and bulky machines.

Their help articles are great, I learned so much about the mechanics of making espresso by using this machine! As for customer service, the folks who work at 9barista have been incredibly helpful and responsive any time we wrote with a request or to ask for help.

This company is definitely a success story in my eyes and I hope they can keep their operations here in the UK for as long as possible.

I received the package much earlier than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise.

The website, especially the video, made it easy to start using the 9Barista. It took just a bit of experimentation before I was able to make my first acceptable shot of espresso, but now I’m making very nice shots easily and consistently. I’m extremely impressed how well designed and built the 9Barista is.

The Espresso machine is so fun to use!

They provide all the material you need to learn how to use the 9Barista Espresso Machine, and after a few attempts, I was making some top notch espresso like I would in my usual day to day job as a head barista.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the ritual of making espresso for themselves. Invest in a good coffee grinder and some scales.

Amazing coffee extraction

I had a very good experience ordering my 9barista. The delivery was very quick und the product really is of high quality.

Scientific magic. When all you need is a cup or two, 9Barista is effective, efficient, and economical. Best of all it leaves you the product and it's preparation to create the result you seek.

Bought the refurbished version and it is in perfect condition.
The espresso it produces is amazing - actually got the 9barista because I was fascinated by the engineering and design but after using it I see that it produces better coffee than a lot of full size machines I tried!
The biggest negative point is that they don't ship it with a couple of spare silicon shower screens. They cost little to produce but you can't use the machine if you loose the one it comes with.

An extraordinary piece of engineering and aesthetics that produces excellent espresso coffee. I’m really happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it.

First: the 9barista does exactly what it should, a very good espresso! So here I would give 5 stars, the only thing that I would criticise is that it is a quite small double espresso and that you cannot make more in one cooking session. For an espresso it is fine. If you want to mix it with milk, it is very small and doing a second one is quite quick but you have to do the process twice. That said, I knew it would be like that, so no critique, I just thought it would be a bit bigger.

After long consideration I bought the 9 Barista, mostly based on the design, and as an engineer, let's face it, the cool factor. Because how cool is it to have a non electronically self regulating stovetop espresso machine?
It took several runs to dial in the grind and amount of the coffee (and flame size), but now my 9 barista produces espresso that beats my Delonghi Dedica hands down.

Love the machine, it’s a brilliant design

It's impossible to properly express how happy I am that the 9barista exists in this world. It is absolutely perfect. It's extraordinarily well designed, a pleasure to use, and is aesthetically beautiful as well. It makes espresso that rivals the best coffee shops from your stove top. It was easier to "dial in" beans than people out there on the interwebs let on. I've tried 3 different beans thus far and use a hand grinder (Timemore C3 ESP Pro) and it's been a pleasure to learn how the machine works and experiment with different flavors and extraction times. It is a costly machine but worth every penny, and if you go out for espresso drinks every day, will pay for itself in a few months. This was my favorite thing I purchased in 2024!
