Hey Lisa! We've always kept on the eco-friendly side of packaging; once we get into snazzy giftboxes, we add non-recyclables to landfill - hence potato starch peanuts (not beautiful but very planet friendly!) and recyclable plain brown boxes, and paper tape. We actually moved away from 'prettier' packing to these sustainable options.
We do offer an organic cotton gift bag which comes with additional branded paper wrap, and ribbons, for an additional charge for those who want it (https://abelburners.co.uk/products/gift-wrap)
The product page for this gift set outlines what's included and doesn't stipulate gift wrap as being included, but I'll take your feedback and add that as a specific note on the page for future Customers :)

Excellent ,personal service
I received a gift of an Abel burner from a friend & loved it so much I bought my sister one along with an oil, candles & opted for the gift wrap service with a personalized note.
I couldn’t find anywhere to write the note while placing the order.
I e-mailed Abel & Lucy was very helpful.
Told me to go ahead & place the order & write my note in a reply e-mail & she would make sure it was put in with the order.
Delivery was so quick, think my sister received it 2 days later with the note inside.
Now she can enjoy the beautiful scent & the cool look of the burner.

I didn’t get an automatic email…
I didn’t get an automatic email confirming my order but I got one presumably manually triggered the following day and the items arrived the day after so incredibly quick and it’s absolutely beautiful. I think an automated acknowledgement of order is made over a weekend say might be a benefit to people who are a little shy of using the Internet to buy things but apart from that I can’t fault this Purchase
