From start to finish it has been a bad experience!
I ordered a set of poles on 12/3/26 120cm length, then realised they would be too long so ordered another set on 16/3. Neither set arrived before I went skiing on 23rd Mar, so had to hire some! I tried to send them back via their returns portal only to be told they were too long to send via their system...definitely not ideal either. Was told to send back myself and the cheapest quote was £10.94! As the poles cost £26, it did not make sense to send back. I did get a refund for the original postage of £8, but will not be using them again.

Good service, poor return policy
Their delivery & customer service is good, but paying £5.50 per return and not being able to combine returns from different orders is a pretty crappy policy. Their excuse being that they come from different locations - yet I could have ordered them in one order, they'd still come from different locations but I would only pay the £5.50 return fee once? Make it make sense.

Because our stock is held in multiple warehouses, items must return to their original despatch location to be processed. Our system tracks returns based on the unique label generated for that specific order. Combining them can lead to items "going missing" in the system and delay your refund.
While this may result in multiple fees, it ensures your return is handled correctly and quickly.

Spy+ Galactic Helmet Don't Bother
I recently bought the Spy+Galactic MIPs Ski helmet, this is no reflection on Absolute snow as the the service was quick, but the ski helmet was well below what I paid for, the buckle had to be constantly adjusted as it was always coming loose, the added lip was always falling off, and my goggles for the first time ever would steam up, there are far better helmets for the money, Im disappointed with my choice.

Smith Nexus MIPS Helmet
Ordered the Smith Nexus Mips Helmet, couldn’t be happier with the product but the customer service was excellent also! Forgot to include next day delivery as I am going skiing at the end of this week and Absolute Snow sorted me out next day delivery without charging as a gesture of good will.
Really pleased with Absolute Snow, 100% recommend and will keep buying from them in future!

5* Experience from start to finish 😊
After lots of research, I bought a pair of Lowa Toro Pro Gore-Tex Mid Women's Hiking Boots from Absolute Snow.
The whole process, from ordering to receiving my order was 'First Class'
They were a great price. Delivery was very timely. Notifications along the way were great.
When they arrived, they were exactly as described. They fit perfectly and on first wearing (on a 10 mile hike in February) they were very comfortable and supportive plus they kept my feet dry.
5* all the way.
Would definitely recommend Absolute Snow 😊

Here comes the best refund experience I have EVER had. You pay a small amount for return, you then get a QR code to take to the Post Office, label printed by them and the parcel is on its way. Within 1/2 hour I get an email saying the parcel has been collected and is en route back to Absolute Snow. Email communication all the way to when I received my refund. What a service. Fantastic stress free.

Delay with the refund owing to payment provider issues
Item was sent without a delay and it was an original, new item. It did not fit unfortunatley.
Return/refund process seemed easy enough. I even received "refund" confirmation a few days later. Except the latter was a deception as no money was actually refunded, when I checked account 9 days after this confirmation.
Therefore 5 stars for purchase experience and 0 stars for refund experience.
PS: An update - Absolute snow team responded - they refunded promptly, but their payment provider took its sweet time. Eventually, refund to UK credit card was received after more than 2 weeks. There are better payment providers out there guys!

Sometimes, banking systems can take 5-10 working days to clear these funds, or there may be a rare technical delay between the payment provider and your bank.

Absolute snow used to be my go to for…
Absolute snow used to be my go to for snowboarding and winter wear. I bought some bits before christmas and needed to contact customer service. Every time i have called for the last three weeks the phoneline is closed. I emailed both email addresses shown on the website and my confirmations. I used the online contact form. I even messaged on facebook.
I have still not had a single response from absolute snow. Utterly non-existent customer service. Avoid
