The sanding and lacquering were done well and good floor results were obtained.
David showed competence and experience when we first discussed the job with him and we preferred him over other contractors, even though he had the highest price.

The only shortcomings were with regards to how they left the house: coke cans and small rubbish left within the house i.e. team didn't clean up after themselves and the massive amount of rubbish left before the front entrance of the house.
True the quote, in fine print, does say "We will not take our rubbish away with us, this we will be placed into sacks and disposed of in appropriate bins.", but they were simply stacked outside in plastic bags (at best), leaving the front entrance of the house in a very ugly state.
Highlighting this in advance and appropriately managing it with myself would have been a far better way of conducting business.

The equipment was delivered on time,carried into the property for me, assembled and demonstrated, I was given good advice on machine operation and the grade of discs to use.
The machine was in good working order and operated correctly throughout.

Works carried out for a good price. Arrived on time as per booking with good communication. Area protected with limited mess created. Completed on schedule with an excellent result obtained. All in all would recommend very happy.

I used the guys at Absolute this week to sand a through lounge which was half carpeted with dark floorboards underneath, with the other half stained with a yellow pine. My initial interactions were with Joshua, who was very quick in reverting back to me and getting a quote together, despite having become a new father just days before. I also appreciated their honesty in recommending the cheaper resin gap filler rather than more expensive wood fillers in terms of how the end result would look.

It was a three day job, with minimal mess left by Stan and Nick. We're very happy with the finished result - they weren't necessarily the cheapest, but they did a good job.

We've used Absolute Floor Sanding twice before, and have always been impressed by the quality of their work and attitude of the team on site. They work quickly and to a high standard.
Some minor delays getting them on site for this job, but the team were extremely apologetic and the work they did more than made up for it

We found AFS to be extremely responsive to emails and they provided a quote for our work less than 24 hours after we sent the quote request email. We were impressed by the customer service throughout and even at quote stage, got the impression that AFS would do the best job, particularly on the more complicated aspects of our job on the stairs. They weren’t the cheapest company we asked to quote, but we judged the extra price to be worth it.

The team that did the work were professional, communicative and courteous, and worked efficiently and in a tidy manner. Towards the end of the job, we had a few issues where the sanding and lacquering didn’t go as planned, such that the initial finish wasn’t what we wanted. The team at AFS were quick to correct this and re-sand and re-lacquer the affected areas.

In the end, we were satisfied with finish, it just took a little longer to get there than anticipated - hence 4 rather than 5 stars. Overall though, we’d recommend them.

We are very pleased with our floor. It is amazing and looks like new, though it is far from it. The workmen came on time and were very pleasant and kept everthing tidy. They used proper established products (no cheap substitutes) and it shows in the end finish. Would definitely recommend this company.

David came in and did a review of the works, we agreed a date and price and the team was on time. They were flexible as our completion dates for the flat got delayed. They discussed the final look and colour we wanted, advised us basis the condition of the wood and left the flat in an impeccable condition once all was done!
