This is the second time that we have used the team after they sanded the floor in our previous house. This time they put down a new oak herringbone floor across three rooms. Another great job from a very friendly and knowledgeable crew.

While the team did a great job restoring our floor, they left the job unfinished and with multiple hazards. They finished the bulk of the work in April but left us without thresholds and with a hole in the floor. These are major trip hazards, made particularly dangerous as we have young children. Multiple calls, emails and texts have not rectified the situation. We are trying to now find someone to sort it, but it’s been complicated by the fact that Absolute did not leave space for thresholds.

I would rate the work they did as 5 stars as it was a great bit of restoration, but leaving us with hazards is unacceptable. Saying you will sort it for months on end and STILL leave us hanging is even worse.

Competitive quote and helpful advice providing options. A good quality result. Website allowing costing up of options is helpful. Admin arranging initial visit and then for the start day scheduled felt a little bit uncertain - whilst the work was completed within the 2 days I'd expected, it started on day2 not the day booked and I wasnt sure whether I was going to need to delay subsequent trades. However a very good result in the end so 4.5/5

I couldn’t be happier with the outstanding experience from David and his team, I wish I had found them earlier and got them to install the flooring. We had our floor’s sanded and varnished which now look amazing, the team were so professional and polite, we have had various tradesmen in our house over the years and these guys were top class, highly recommend!

David and his team were extremely fast and efficient and there was minimal disruption to the house. And after sanding, the wood on the stairs looks better than I expected it would do.

I had my painted engineered hardwood floors sanded and lacquered by David and his team to take it back to the natural wood. We are really happy with the level of service provided by David and the team, right the way from the initial contact, through to estimation and completion, everything was on point. The pricing structure was very transparent and the job was started and completed on time to a very high standard (60sqm hardwood refinish, untouched for 20 years). A team from absolute flooring came to my Georgian home to sand and stain a staircase. About 90 minutes into a multi day job, the boss advised that some of the wood had been replaced and repaired and that therefore it would be impossible to achieve a consistent finish.
I really appreciated this honest advise and that the operatives did not just plough on, and charge me for, the task that I had previously thought I wanted. The operative was able to give me advice on an alternative solution.

We are very pleased with the work done on our real oak floors.
The team are very helpful and polite who were patient in explaining the process over the phone and waiting for us to decide on a stain colour. The quote was very reasonable compared to other ones we received and they were able to start and complete work, without rushing, taking care not to damage the surroundings and also provided really helpful information on how to care for and treat our floors going forward.
The end result is that our wooden floors have been brought back to life - they look and feel stunning!
Highly recommended.

From getting the quote prepared in August to the work being done in November, the team have been incredibly helpful (to a pine floor novice) answering any questions I had and working around my timeframes and other workmen. Floor looks beautiful and I still can't believe how well they've come up after being covered over by the previous owner for thirty years! Thank you again guys, can't fault your work!

Slap dash with their floor stain, it's all over my newly painted woodwork. Would not recommend.

Absolute Flooring sanded a 110 sq m area in my house. I am over the moon with the result - it is truly excellent - more than one visitor has asked me 'Is this a new floor?' Project was initiated as scheduled, communication throughout was excellent and in all highly recommended by me.
