Mike Gunning is the man if you're looking to make sorting your mortgage easy. My parents have used him for years and I have now used him for the three mortgages I have taken out. He's quick, easily contactable, extremely patient and understanding (we changed property and mortgage during our purchase process) and nothing was a hassle to him. If you're doing it alone for the first time, Mike is worth speaking to to think through your options. Even if you've sorted lots of mortgages in the past he's still worth speaking to in my experience. Simply put, if you're looking for someone to help you with a mortgage that you can trust - get in touch with Mike!

I have been using Access Mortgages since 2010 and more specifically Mike Gunning. He was introduced to me by my then girlfriend, now wife and we have both dealt exclusively with Mike ever since. He is so helpful, always goes above and beyond and has a real world story for every scenario, based on years of experience with hundreds of customers. Every time we have had to remortgage Mike has got us the best rate available and has always managed to bring down the length of our mortgage each time. As an example, right now when everything is going up he’s managed to knock another couple of years off the length of our mortgage and we are not paying a penny more than we have been on a fixed rate mortgage from before the pandemic. There is no way we would have been able to sort that if we had done it ourselves. When we deal with Mike he’s not just thinking about this remortgage but he’s got a long term plan all the way to our retirement and he remembers it even though it’s years between conversations! He also is full of great advice and tips and always takes the time to sit and talk through everything, even things that have nothing to do with the remortgage. He’s like our very own Martin Lewis!! There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Mike has saved us a fortune over the years and continues to do so, I cannot recommend him highly enough.

My boyfriend and I had no idea where to begin with regards to buying a house.

We contacted Mike, who helped my parents with their mortgage 25 years ago! He went above and beyond for us and was constantly in touch and guided us through the whole process from start to finish. We didn't know what to expect being first time buyers but Mike explained everything in detail which made the entire process completely stress free.

Mike from access mortgages was extremely helpful and was always in regular contact with us about our mortgage application, making sure we were satisfied.

we knew Mike as he was my mum and dads mortgage advisor we spur of the moment reserved a house with a offer exploration date of the 30th of November ( from the house builder ) we contacted mike a week ago on Friday and today weve just received our mortgage offer Mike was with us every step of the way keeping us up to date every day letting us contact him evening and weekends a really great service from a top class guy insurances and future mortgages will 100% be going through him.
