I visited the store close to Museumplein in Amsterdam a few weeks back to inquire about a bracelet for my wife as a surprise for our anniversary.

I knew what I wanted and told the lady who helped me specifically what I was looking for. The lady allowed me to see and feel the showmodel I had in mind but was persistantly pushing me to get my wife to the store. The lady wanted them to measure my wife's wrist beforehand as she has smaller wrists, so an adjustment will be needed anyway to shorten the bracelet's length. Eventhough I was pretty sure about the length, the lady was not willing to accept my measurements and thought it was a hassle and a waste of time if the measurements are incorrect (eventhough adjustments can be performed and I have no problems paying for it!). This went on for a while which then made it a rather unpleasant time at the end.

Obviously, the whole idea was a surprise and it defeats the whole purpose if I was to bring her to the store, tell her I have a surprise, show her the surprise, tell her this is not hers yet, wrist is measured, I pay for it, wait for a few weeks, and come back to the store with her in a few weeks. Plus, this may lead to her having second thoughts, e.g. "This is too much/expensive", "I want to think about it first", etc. and may end up with her not having something as great as what I have planned.

What happened to 'customers are always right'? I was not asking anything illegal or something beyond the ordinary. "We will not do business with you simply because we want the measurements to be right", even though I already know that it should be right? I had no issues when I bought the engagement ring for my wife elsewhere. What a poor service!!

I would recommend this site if anyone wanted to purchase jewelry from. It's an excellent site. The service is excellent. I have dealt with Tamarah Albek. The prices are very reasonable. The quality is excellent and products handled with care. Every time i purchase with this site I am happy and satisfied. The shipping time is good. Everything is clear. There is a large variety of brands. The staff are very co-operative and very helpful. Excellent is so little of a word when it comes to describe this company's service and staff. I love you Ace!

From start to finish the experience of creating a custom engagement ring for my Fiancee was simply superb. The staff at Ace Jewelers give you great confidence as they know all there is when it comes to diamond sourcing, jewellery design and local manufacture.

Given my Fiancee is a trained jeweler, the ring was very important for us to be absolutely perfect. And given I was surprising her I needed them to be discreet. Ace went above and beyond to make it all that, and more!

I have recently purchased a breitling for my wife's birthday at Ace & Dik. I recieved a great price (i know that because i asked for several quotes during my trip in Europe (Tenerife, Barcelona, Berlin and Amsterdam). Special thanks to Wesley Bierman who was especially helpfull and kind.

I just bought a watch, which I couldn't find in Germany any more. Perfect service on the phone in order to hopefully receive the watch before the birthday of our daughter (which is quite close).

I just recently purchased a Longines L43604116 Lyre ladies watch as an anniversary gift for my wife. I tried going through another online retailer at first with a Hamilton Lady Auto, but they ended up emailing me that it was "not physically present in their warehouse" and would take 3-5 weeks to ship. Since I only have a couple weeks before I need it, I tried to cancel the order the next day via their email service. No response. I called the next day and for 15 Minutes, sat on hold for customer service and I gave up. I called the day after that and sat on hold for another 15 minutes with no answer. Chat was never available for the 3 days, so I hung up, called back and went to sales instead of customer service. After 10 minutes of hold time, I finally got a rep who promptly cancelled the order and then hung up without asking if I needed anything else.....like maybe a different watch. As it turns out, the particular model of Longines that I settled on is actually a bit harder to find than their other lines.

Enter Ace Jewelers.

I found the watch on their site but the order button said to contact them for availability. I used their email system and asked if I could purchase. Within minutes, Service Rep Jenna responded and stated that it was in stock. Being the end of their day in the Netherlands and my mid afternoon in the US meant I had to wait for the next day to purchase. As they don't have a toll free international number, I installed whatsapp on my phone and reached out to Jenna that way. She was able to send me an updated link that allowed me to add the watch to my cart right during the call. I completed my transaction with the new link a few hours ago and I just received my UPS shipping notice for the watch as I am typing. I can't wait to see the watch. Pictures do not usually do them justice and this watch is gorgeous in photos. Thank you Jenna and Ace Jewelers. You made me a very happy customer.

I have pre ordered a watch that takes 2 months to receive, at first i was hesitant to pay the full amount and wait for 2 months until Nomos releases this watch but Ace and Tamara from Ace Jewelers were very pleasant to deal with and instantly made me feel comfortable to deal with someone who is willing to answer your calls/whatsapp messages in few minutes from contacting them!
They used express shipping and got it delivered in a big box with lots of protective paper and material that must have cost them a lot but they didn't spare any expense.
I couldnt be happier but my wrist were bigger than the standard one that came with the watch so they sent me another for free !!!!!!!!!!
I will definitely buy again from them and would recommend them to others.

The staff here is very knowledgeable about the products they have. The products they sell are very well priced. They treat you like a friend or family member, not as a customer which makes the experience of buying from them even better. What surprised me the most was that the staff helped me get a better tax refund for non e.u. residents, by paying out the refund directly from the store after having the documents stamped at the customs desk ( if you get your tax refund at the airport, Global Blue or Premier Tax Free take a percentage from the total refund) On my next trip to Amsterdam I will definitely be going back to Ace Jewelers to buy another watch.
