Very pleased with the replacement of my sash windows and extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

We are very happy with our new windows, Dominic was very pleasant and professional, and the workers friendly and efficient. We had all out windows replaced using Option B. It is definitely of excellent value compared to bigger companies, which had quoted us with twice the price using materials of lesser quality. The result is lovely, I would highly recommend Acorn Sash Windows.

From the moment I met Dominic I felt confident that I was dealing with someone who was professional and trustworthy. His company replaced our three tired sash windows, renovated the box frames and did a great job. We received a very detailed quote, a very reasonable price, agreed timings and everything was done according to that plan. The carpenter was professional and courteous and did his best to minimise disruption and mess. From quote to finish was around 5 weeks and I am just waiting now to agree a date with the decorator to put the final coat on. I am so pleased with our new sash windows that I smile to myself every time I walk past them.

Our initial request for a quotation was swiftly answered. On top of that, we were also given opportunities to view Acorn's complete jobs to get a full picture of their products and workmanship.
We chose Acorn not only because of the lower bid, but also because they took great care of customers' concerns and answered all our questions patiently.
The work started on time. And they managed to keep everything clean and tidy during the working period. They are flexible enough to change their working schedule to suit our particular needs.
The products they supplied look very good. Real hardwood double glazing adds real value to the property. And the completed new sash windows operate perfectly smoothly. The rooms are now warmer, and condensation is no more!

I had a few timber sash windows replaced recently by Acorn Sash Window. Although it initially took a few weeks to get an appointment for a survey, once I was in the loop the service provided was extremely professional. The company offers a few options to repair or replace existing windows, all detailed in the most thorough quote I have ever seen from a building company. Truly impressive, and competitively priced as well.
Once I commissioned them to do the work, I was kept in the loop at every stage of the project until completion. The new windows installed are a near perfect match to the existing ones and were skillfully fitted by one of the company's carpenters. Dominic, the company director, also made sure I was 100% satisfied with the work before moving on. Quality-wise, only time will tell if the windows will stand the test of time but so far so good.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the service provided by Dominic and his team. Always reliable, punctual, kind and respectful. Without hesitation, I would recommend them to others seeking timber sash windows repair/replacement.

We asked Acorn Sash Windows to quote for replacement and / or refurbishment of a large bay window. They gave good options, and in the end we chose refurbishment because it would be less mess and redocorating for us to do, it is better environmentally, and of course it was cheaper. They did an excellent job, and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I have used Acorn Sash Windows twice and have been happy with them on both occasions. The service they provide is very professional and the quality of work is very good. They offer many different options to meet your budget and I have recommended to friends who were delighted with their work and would thoroughly recommend them to all.

Dominic was very professional when he initially came round to measure up for our job (5 sash windows renovated with draft proofing, new fittings etc.). The quote also came in at a reasonable price compared to other quotes we had.

The workmen that completed the job were very professional and left our flat very tidy at the end of each day and the end of the job. The workmanship on the windows was also a very high standard and we're very happy with the finished product. Our windows were originally very draughty and difficult to open and close. After the work was completed the draught was gone and the windows open and close with ease. The quality of the fittings was also very good (brass pulls, keyed locks and fasteners).

I would recommend Acorn to others.

Acorn were very competitively priced and they did things when they said they would and were tidy, polite and installed very nice windows.
