My husband was admitted to hospital suddenly and he would not have been able to return home unless the chairlift was installed.
Acorn installed it in one day which meant that he could come home and be able to sleep in his own bed.
His wish was to die at home and with the chairlift, we were able to manage.
Thank you to all involved.

Acorn Stairlifts were recommended by a Physio who has worked with my Father who is recovering from a very severe stroke. I wanted my parents to come and stay in my home but he is wheelchair bound and paralysed on one side of his body and needs to be able to access upstairs.
I met with Acorn and found their service, from the initial phone call for a quote, to an in home quote (providing me with 3 options) to installation(which was very quick) amazing. They were friendly, professional and efficient.
The Stairlift is easy to use, accommodates my Father’s needs and fits neatly into my home. Great product, great service.

I thoroughly recommend Acorn as their service & product is excellent. Within an hour of contacting them via their website I received a phone call in which a visit was arranged. As luck would have it their surveyor was nearby & called the following morning. He measured up & gave me a quote before leaving. This was acceptable & installation was carried out 2 weeks later. We have been very pleased with the operation of the stairlift.

Everything about my experience with Avorn was excellent. The installers (Brisbane) did an excellent job. I'm impressed with the design of the stairlift, and the rail is very attractive. My life has been made much easier now that I can easily get up and down the stairs. I can get back into my sewing and quilting again, an important mental health activity for me. Thank you. I can wholeheartedly recommend you to anyone.

The sales person was very competent and flexible when we changed our mind of how the chairlift should operate.

The installation was without problems. Since then the chairlift has operated to our full satisfaction. It is a great addition and will allow us to live in our house much longer.

the stair chair perfectly suits my needs and its very easy for me to use...its installation means we can continue to go to our beach house for a good few more years yet as I now have full access ….many thanks to your company or all your help and for getting it installed despite Covid

I have had the new one since early Feb 22. It is lumpy and bumpy at the top and a bit off level on the decent. But overall it saves so much worry with frail people using the stairs. Great service from Josie and a special mention for Hayley in service who is a great person.

Chairlift was installed on Jan 25 2022.
Happy with installation but on Feb 15 2022 chairlift stopped at various places and then slowed to almost stop and ride became rough and a bit bumpy.
Rang for for service but no appointment for two weeks although I was told on installion a Technician was located 30 minutes from me.
Not happy Jan.

We would like to sincerely extend our gratitude to Acorn for their professionalism from start to finish in installing our stairlift.
After many years of sleeping apart from my husband, due to not being able to ascend the stairs, and feeling very secluded, Acorn has given us the chance to be in our bedroom after 65 years of marriage.
Continue the great work Acorn and keep giving useful solutions to people as so the smile can be put back on to their faces from your workmanship and products.

Had my lift for a few weeks now and use them all the time

Sales person and installer were great but the lift stopped working within one week and when my mother called there was no answer and she then left a message to get a visit to get it fixed, she got no return call so she called back again and was set up an appointment time for someone to fix the problem within a few days, about a week of the lift not working. They did not turn up, I had to call to find out what was happening and was told they were delayed but they never let her know. Had to reschedule an appointment and they were still late. Not a lot of care post purchase. Fixed now and hopefully stays that way!

The guys who installed my chair lift were very caring and considerate. I am extremely happy with my chair lift as it enables me to go down to
the back yard and the lower floor as much as I want to, which I couldn't do before without causing my knees great pain.
I would encourage anyone who is weighing up whether to spend the money on one that it is worth every cent.

I needed a Stair Lift immediately for a dear friend let down by NDIS. I called Acorn on the Tuesday (4th January) and explained to Alex - who was really understanding and helpful. Wednesday Michael came and measured and quoted, again went through exactly what was required and provided an immediate quote. Friday Morning the installer arrived - it was an absolute pleasure to see how a professional installer works and after he went through all the instructions and ensured everyone understood how to work the Stair Lift.
Acorn have given my dear friend a new lease, dignity and mobility I cannot thank them enough.

We are in our late70's and decided to install a chair lift to assist in negotiating our stairs.

We arranged quotes from two suppliers so we could ascertain what was available. The first was from Acorn. The rep showed a thoroughly professional attitude and after asking some medical based questions, outlined the workings of the stair lift and the company ethics.
Conversely the second rep took more time on badmouthing the opposition suppliers than promoting his own product. We have installed the Acorn lift, almost a month ago and have found it most satisfying. The installers arrived on time, carried out their work efficiently and fully explained the workings of the unit before they left. At no point in the whole process did we feel pressured into making a decision and we are happy with our decision. It has helped my wife immensely in negotiating the stairs.

Beginning to end experience was excellent. Plus to top it off my husband is able to go up & down stairs & feel independent. Thank you Acorn.

Since inception in 2019, ACORN STAIRLIFTS, AUSTRALIA staff, led by Martin Ridsdale and Tony Overland, have provided positive, professional understanding and friendly assistance throughout the selection and installation of our ACORN 180 Outdoor stairlift at our Sanctuary Cove, Queensland residence.

Installation by the ACORN technical support staff, led by Steve Gillett, was expeditious and professional. Further, Steve took the time to explain and demonstrate, the three different ways our stairlift could end on the walkway so that we had a real-time example to make our decision. It was most helpful and we are thrilled with the result.

Further, ACORN support liaison by Karl was instantaneous and potential problems were resolved.

All of our requirements have now been met by ACORN Australia’s professional staff.

Our ACORN 180 is safe, attractive and quiet. It provides safe access to our apartment. It is an asset that now allows us to remain in our residence.

Excellent service from first contact, appointment to measure and quote, and subsequent installation. All contacts were knowledgable and helpful. The product is beautifully made and routine maintenance (cleaning & lubricating) for the owner is easy. One minor niggle is the 24/7 continuously flashing "fully charged" indicator.
