My 16-year-old son placed an online order for school clothes totalling $249.27 CDN. When he received the order, he decided to return 2 of the 6 items. The 2 items were returned to Adidas and on 06/02/2023, a credit/return was received on the credit card for the 2 items, totalling $152.25 CDN. The same day following the refund transaction, a CHARGE for the refunded amount of $152.25 was applied on the credit card!
I contacted Adidas numerous times having to explain the ordeal many times over, on a couple of calls I was advised that Adidas was having technical difficulties and that this mishap occurred to many of their customers and would take 7-10 business days to resolve. I also received an emailed apology from Adidas regarding this issue (see below). Getting nowhere with resolution, and over 2 months having transpired, I contacted my credit card provider only to be connected back to Adidas.
I am exhausted by this incompetence of such a large corporation and I am beyond livid that my son had to pay this large sum of his hard-earned money, only to return items and not receive compensation.
A case with BBB (Better Business Bureau) had been submitted and they were unable to get Adidas to acknowledge this issue.

If I could give no stars...it has been 4 months with no sight or hope of getting my money back from adidas. The customer service is rude, ignorant and incompetent. Save yourself trouble and never purchase from online store. Trust me you will save yourself lot of trouble.
Over 6 weeks since returned still didn't get the refund.
I returned a show I bought from Adidas.ca and returned it on 7 May 2023.
It has been over 6 weeks now, and I haven't received my refund yet. If I call them, I keep hearing the same excuse that they are having an issue with processing returns and the issues will be rectified soon.
How long are they planning to give the same excuse? When I called them to get a responsible answer from their customer service they put me on hold for 15 minutes and they gave me the same response. Then they hung up the call without letting me speak.
Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Always been an Adidas fan. Never buying an Adidas again if this is how they will treat their customers.
Refunds are not given!
I placed an order on their website on April 27th for 8 items. They charged me in full for all 8 items as soon as I checked out. On may1st they notify me to let me know my order has shipped out but they had to cancel 1 item as it was not available. I received my order for the other 7 items, I returned 1 item 2 weeks later as it was not as advertised. They acknowledge having received the returned item on May 23rd. It is now June 9th and no refunds have been given for either item, only case numbers and so-called escalations to managers and supervisors yet there is no update at all as to why I have not received a refund for either item! I had no choice but to report this as fraud to my bank as clearly Adidas is not interested in providing my money back! This is the last time I will ever purchase an adidas product!!!

Returns and exchanges take eons, making me wonder if I will ever receive my money and exchanged products at all.
Update: did finally get my exchanges, but alarmingly was then double-charged for the original items. Upon contacting adidas, they said it’s a system error that will take a few weeks to solve.
So they overdrew my account by $80 somehow and then told me I’d have to wait a while to get it back.
Do not use anything but a prepaid temporary card to pay for products on this site!!!

adidas keeps making excuses as to why they haven't processed my return yet
Adidas recieved my return over 3 weeks ago and so far I've only gotten emails from them saying they haven't processed my return yet and that it will take awhile. This happened with my last return too. This is pretty bogus and I won't purchase from adidas.ca again. I've also noticed the quality of their products has gone downhill quite a bit - hence the returns. I'm a big adidas fan but am disappointed and will only buy 2nd hand adidas now or stuff on sale at my local Sport Chek. Shouldn't be surprised though since all these corps use cheap factory labour overseas. More and more I notice that consumers are being excessively exploited by these companies that charge big $ for bad quality - and we don't know we're being exploited until they have stolen our money and given us crap in exchange. Consumers really need to demand more for our dollar and start boycotting this BS.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. Hands down the worst, most incompetent, mindless, yet stupidly arrogant “customer service” I’ve ever encountered with online retail. Simple return to process, but still waiting on the confirmation email saying that the refund will be processed. This after their own Purolator tracking shows they received it at the warehouse. When you try getting someone via chat, you just don’t because their esteemed agents are not available.
I cannot believe a company like Adidas would run this kind of crap operation. I will never buy their online products, which are good, in order to avoid their post-sales online service, which is absolutely pitiful.
Poor communication
Poor communication. I ordered items on Dec 1, 2022 for Christmas gifts. Thought that would give them plenty of time to ship it before Christmas. I checked the status about 5 business days later, it showed packed and shipped with Est Delivery date of Dec 14. Well Dec 14 came and went and no sign of the package. I checked their site and it said it hasn’t left the warehouse and no estimated delivery date.
I called customer service explaining my experience and what had happened. He pretty much repeated what was on the website. I asked if it will be delivered on time for Christmas. He said that they’ve had so many sales lately that they have too many orders and the warehouse can’t catch up. Then he said I should just wait til it shows up and that to HOPE it’ll make it on time for Christmas. Worst customer service! Nike may not have as crazy sales like adidas but I’ve always had positive customer experience with them. If there was any issues, they’re always quick to fix it.

The website creates an error every time you try to do a return. I've repeatedly informed them, but they do not seem to care. The phone agents are really not very friendly or service-oriented and seem to need training. I ordered a number of items in order to get the correct fit and style, and I kept a third of them. The phone agent said he was "shocked" that I sent the other items back. It's 2022. Are you shocked when someone tries on an armful of items in a store and buys only one-third of them? Of course not. It's the same online. Get over it.
Three lies over one pair of kids boots.
I'd never ordered from Adidas before, but I got a voucher from a family member who works in the warehouse, so I figured I'd try. I ordered a pair of boots for my six-year old and a couple other things. The other things were shipped first. When the expected delivery date for the boots was a couple days away, I went online to check things out. They showed out of stock, so I got worried and did a chat. I was told I might not get them and they offered to cancel my order and give me a new voucher. My other option was to wait. I decided to wait, and then spoke to the family member I got the voucher from. She confirmed they are out of stock, but said they will be back in stock in a couple weeks. She told me to message Adidas to make sure they don't cancel my order. I did that and was assured my order wouldn't be cancelled. That was a lie, because they cancelled it a week later. I got back on the chat to ask for the order to be redone. They said they couldn't do that, so I said I'd take the voucher then, but was told they can't do that either, so the first guy lied too. Then they offered me a price match. I'd have to place an order when they come back in stock and then do a chat to get the price adjusted. At that point, I was reluctant to believe him as two people had already been dishonest with me. After a bit of back and fourth, he had me convinced there would be no hassle when I ask for the price match. The boots were supposed to be back in stock today, but didn't show-up online, so I bothered my family member again. She said they are in the warehouse, and to call Adidas. I did that and was told to wait a bit for them to be in stock online. I mentioned the price match and he told me he sees the note. Phew! I was like, great. Thank you. Then I get an email. Guess what? The third guy lied too. They suddenly can't do a price match. What?! I wrote back and asked that my email be forwarded to a supervisor, and I've heard nothing now. I don't think I'm asking too much. I just want the boots I ordered for the price I paid with my voucher. I'm very disappointed with my first experience with this company. It's like they just say want to hear to get rid of you.
I'll add that my family member doesn't know about any of this; only that I was wondering about the boots being in stock. She's a great worker and loves her job.

Hi all,
Just placed an order for a couple pairs of soccer shoes. Realized the size was wrong for one of the pairs and called customer service to see if they could tweak the order since it wasn't shipped yet. I had to tell the rep about 30 times that I simply wanted to change the size of the shoe only, but this request was way over his head and he kept reading some script that wasn't related. My god. In the end they can't modify the order or do anything to assist to correct the order. Big shipping delays, 3-4 weeks to process refunds. Big regrets ordering from them. Worst customer service ever from a brand I love. Get your act together Adidas.

They charged my credit card & I never received my goods. Their warehouse put the wrong address on the shipping waybill, so the goods got returned back to Adidas warehouse. Despite speaking to at least 5 customer service reps, Adidas never issued me a refund. I lost $80.00 due to the incompetence of Adidas' shipping & customer service agents.
