I had a front door fitted last year and was very pleased. Unfortunately, the door has to be pulled up so tight before the key works to unlock it, the key no longer works at all. I am having to claim on the insurance with Safe World who won't recognise the claim since I haven't sent the correct paperwork, according to them, although I have supplied the two part insurance backed guarantee from DGCOS. It really is appalling that Safe World are now negating their responsibility under the insurance I was relying on in precisely this event, that Adoored went bust. Absolutely appalled, not Adoored!

I originally gave a 5 star review because the service back in Jan 2017 was excellent, as was the fitting, as was the quality of the door. I'm amazed this business has folded. But I'm presuming everyone who had a door through Adoored Ltd received the Insurance Backed Guarantee [Tel: 0345 053 8975]. They Insure the doors through Safe World Insurance [Tel: 0330 111 2088]. Keep all paperwork including receipt of payment. Unfortunately I have an issue with my door now and currently going through this insurance company - hopefully not a long haul process getting them to fix it. Good luck to anyone going through the same.

can anyone tell me who fitted adored doors- think it was a Nottingham company? any contact details for fitters as we have an issue and company not available/ no response.

Went out of business after lying their way through the last month or so and ripping people off for 50% deposits. Lost money and p****d off!!

Hi I am an adoored customer and although the door is great I am having problems with gapping concerns have tried to contact them but unfortunately can’t get hold of them , but I managed to get hold of the fitter which told me they have gone into administration so no longer trading hope this helps people

I think it's fair to assume that Adoored have ceased trading. Despite having measurements taken in November 2017 with it in mind to go ahead, there has been no further response, the website has been closed for about a month and all telephone numbers are not being answered when called at various times of the day. Would have been better to have informed us of the likelihood of unfulfilled order, but I guess they had more important things to consider if the aforementioned assumption is correct.

Placed order of door on 12th October 2017 after speaking to a nice gentleman Michael, was told 4-6 weeks installation after measurements were done.

6 weeks later after hearing “nothing” I call to only find out Michael has left the company and someone will be in touch regarding my order.

Waited and waited no call, so called back numerous times only to get through to receptionist Who promised someone will be in touch.

Finally here from Cory the gentleman who come out for the measurements (very nice gentleman) Who apologised and said there had been a back log at the factory and promised to call back the next with a update.

Cory did call back the next day only to give me bad news stating the door was still in manufacture and because of fitters being on leave earliest will be 18th of December for fitting. I’ve taken his word.

Today is the 13th December have not heard anything to confirm it is 100% going ahead, getting worried so I try to go on the website to see some reviews (again) only to see the message saying website under maintenance. So I try calling the number which keeps saying “the number you are calling cannot accept a call from this location” very Very bizzare.

I am now very worried because Christmas is coming and I was planning on moving in to my new house before Christmas, I have a double door at the moment which not secure at all and I have 3 children. Will try again tomorrow and update after the 18th.

Very disappointing considering the glowing reviews from others.

Ordered and paid for a new front door in October (now 6th Dec) since which time i have had no info regarding fitting dates etc.

I have called countless times, only to be transferred to a third-party answering service that take messages and pass them on. No response.

I have sent emails but again, no response.

Based on my experience thus far, I would avoid using them

I don't usually write to suppliers but in this case they deserve it.
A spectacular product with a brilliant installation - looks fantastic.

I know the requirement was bespoke, especially the glass, but the finished project is outstanding.

Please pass my thanks on to your installers who could not be faulted.

we have a beautiful new front door, even better in real life than expected
Fabulous finish, colour is perfect and the security on the door really has put our minds at ease.
The difference in insulation is noticeable as we had a wooden door before and we could feel the draughts, but with our new front door, super sealed

From start to finish the service from Michael and the rest of the Adoored team has been fantastic. Great customer service, great choice of doors. Our new front door looks fantastic too. Would definitely use Adoored again and have already recommended them to friends.

Brilliant service - Had two doors fitted and extremely pleased with overall experience.

Came across Adoored after being let down and losing money when Yale doors went bust. Adoored were brilliant in helping me out not only with what is a superior product but in giving me a better deal and taking off what money I had lost. The guys fitting did a first class job and all in all I am extremely proud of my new front door (and window). I will be using them again that's for sure to replace existing old doors and windows. So yes highly recommended.

The door itself is perfect. We love it. The guy that fitted it was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the guy in the office messed up the order which extended our wait for the door to an extremely unreasonable amount off time. This was very disappointing and annoying.

Michael was great throughout but an error in specification led to a protracted process to get the right thumb turn / lock. Everything is solid (except for a slightly lightweight doorknocker) and Adoored were the only company offering the design, colour and spec we wanted at the most competitive price. Highly recommend them, just reconfirm the spec before they arrange fitting!
