The crossing went well, we were late at Newhaven but the guy at the gate was very flexible. The ferry was quite full and maybe a little "tired" but everything went to plan and there were good views from the decks. We disembarked easily and were in our hotel in Dieppe within 15 minutes.
Lovely, a cross channel ferry as they used to be with freshly prepared food and reasonably priced cabins.

Perfect day for the crossing to Dieppe , flat sea and sunshine all the way. Sadly no dolphins swimming beside us !
Good trip very calm experience.
23:00 ferry delayed 4 hours. Why didn’t DFDS text all passengers warning of delays allowing them to make alter plans to eat and drink: because zero food on site any it had been 32degrees+ all day. Also, on arrival cars were backed up towards the town behind deserted cars and vans. Gridlock. Zero initiative by ferry/port staff.

Great crossing
A convenient, cost effective crossing. Nothing occasion we booked a cabin to rest before onward travel in France, the cabin was well prepared , also towels allowed us to freshen up. Unfortunately our was adjacent to cabins with dogs locked up in them during the crossing. There was continuous barking during the crossing as it appeared that the dog owners leave them unattended during the crossing. For us it made our use of the cabin to rest impossible, as cabins close to the animal s quarters are compromised. We feel cheated by paying for our cabin in such close proximity..
