I wish I could give a negative score. This company literally robbed me, I booked 6 rooms in a group booking for 2 nights in London and they duplicated the booking and charged me twice. I have lost nearly £4,000 and no one would help me. Disgraceful, dishonest and, I actually believe fraudulent.

My first time using Agoda and equally also the last time. Within the first 2 hours I was already more irritated than on some other sites over years. I booked a stay but aborted it before the payment was confirmed as I realized the checkin was closed when at the time I arrive.
No notification of deduction or confirmation had arrived so I went ahead and booked another stay that was confirmed.
A few minutes later I saw there very 2 bookings, the payment was deducted eventhough I aborted it. I had to call the call center 3 times to get a call center script from Idian, a bunch of agent who had no clue what they were talking about, and constant talk about,
I don't know how many partners but not a move of action.
I took the phone a called the hotel owner in one go, arranged to check in later and cancelled the 2nd booking, cause fortunately that was possible before tomorrow.
These people are a huge scam and try to take your money where ever they can without giving anything in return.

Terrible, zero customer support, I wanted to change dates, propert was ok with it but we couldn't manage trough agoda. You are talking with Ai I and there is zero flexibility. Misleading prices too. After taxes price is not the end price, they raise it in the end. Its a scam and it shoulb be sued. Just terrible.And please dot send me a generic message how sorry you are, but not doing any.

I recently had a disappointing experience using Agoda. While the platform is easy to browse and offers a wide range of options, there are a couple of major issues that affected my overall experience.
Firstly, the pricing is not as transparent as it initially appears. The price shown at the beginning is not the final amount. When proceeding to the payment page, additional charges are added, making the total cost higher than expected. This lack of clarity can be frustrating, especially when you are comparing options and making decisions based on the displayed price.
Secondly, I found the customer support to be quite difficult to reach. It was not easy to get in touch with a representative, and when I did, the support provided felt limited and not very considerate of the situation. It did not give me confidence that issues would be handled effectively.
Overall, while Agoda has a convenient interface, the pricing transparency and customer support experience need significant improvement. I hope they can address these issues to provide a more reliable and customer-friendly service in the future.

I have been using Agoda for about 10 years, it offers great deals and the service is amazing.
Agoda is Trustworthy and helpfully.
Had some Room charges issue .. Customer Service suck big .No phone contact can call in Sgp . So depends on email. Send them thrice .. no sound no reply .. While in BKK the hotel staff managed to contact the BKK office . And lady customer service officer told me to use other site Booking platform if I m not pleased with Agoda .. nice move .. Trip.com floated in my thoughts.

Terrible customer support experience with Agoda.
We agreed directly with the hotel to check out early and receive a refund due to unsuitable room conditions. The hotel was ready to approve the refund immediately, but Agoda support turned the entire process into a nightmare.
We spent more than 2 hours talking to support agents and repeatedly trying to prove the issue, even though the hotel had already accepted the situation and was simply waiting for Agoda to send the refund request.
Support responses were extremely slow. Photos of the problems were apparently “not enough,” so we were forced to send video evidence by email as well. Again, this was despite the hotel already confirming the refund on their side.
The whole process wasted a huge amount of time and nerves for absolutely no reason. Very disappointing service and terrible customer support.

Absolutely abysmal customer service. This company is simply dreadful if you have any minor problem with your booking. I have had problems with a hotel booking and a flight recently and on both occasions the customer support was non-existent. Avoid at all costs.

Your website is so easy to navigate and the options of non cancelable , cancelable, pay now , pay later are all clearly shown , making it easy to book online using the App. Additionally, the pop up offers of discount are always welcome !
Or the rare time that I’ve needed to cancel or move my booking, Agoda have been very helpful indeed!
Extremely disappointed with Agoda's services. Your processes are super slow, the only thing that was fast is the way you accept my purchase.
The CS team is full of bots, and even when I could talk to a real human, they talked like bots too.
The hotel didn't receive my payment, you guys asked me to wait 48hrs, then sent an auto email to me for no updates.
When I decided to cancel so I can use another app, you guys asked me to wait 30 bloody days, without being able to provide ref number of the refund transaction, but still asked me to "work with my bank"

Edit…. Agoda have just attempted to get this review removed. Trustpilot have requested further details from me which have been provided.
As stated in this review, if Agoda do not return the airmiles tracked by this booking, then the second booking for Jan 2027 with a value of nearly £700 will be cancelled. You have been warned.
For clarity so interested parties can see my review is genuine and what this company are trying to do to prevent the truth of how they operate, here are the 2 booking reference numbers. Agoda have also been given an email address and phone number. This review will be further updated with the outcome. I suspect they will do zero and it was simply for this to be removed.

I made 2 bookings using my BA Amex card to gain the 10-1 Avios points per £1 on offer.
I returned. Saw the points awarded, then a week later removed. No reason given but over 2000 air miles lost.
There isn’t any way to challenge it and I’m just expected to take it.
Well here’s the thing. I have another booking in the pipeline for a 5* hotel in Bangkok which is giving me 16000 points. Luckily, like all hotel bookings I make, it has a full refund included.
Agoda cannot be trusted and I am not going to let them steal 18000 Avios points they offered to get these bookings and then stick 2 fingers up on my return. That booking is going to be cancelled and booking elsewhere.
Despicable way to operate.

I had a very good experience in hotel sterling otty ,I had visited with my family and I forgot my bag in the hotel .. the staff Mr. Nagaraj from travel desk found my bag and reported to Miss Nancy and she called immediately after .overall I can say this hotel have the loyal staff big thank you 🙏
I booked a hotel in Taiwan, Taipei, with Agoda for two nights. It was presented as a 3 * hotel, but is is less then motel(even towels was marked as motel)I paid premium price for that stay over $330. When I arrived to that hotel, I learned that I don't want to stay in that unsanitary conditions. I contacted Agoda to try to cancel, but I been told that reservation will be not refundable. Waited for more then two hours to learn that they will contact place in 72hours for them to agree.
This is nonsense. If you come to hotel with mold/smoke smell and mosquitos and cleaning issued, that MUST be cancel right away!

Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with, Mis-sold a family room with just a twin room being booked with the hotel, waited around 30 mins for each response on their webchat & after 3 hours they agreed to refund the difference in price of the room, not convinced I will get this as they stated it could take 4 weeks & certainly won't be using again, AVOID or use with caution & just hope you don't need to contact them. Awful.
After Agoda's reply I have just spent another 1hr 45 mins on their online chat & got no further forward, Awful.

My experience with Booking 1985433815:
1. Airline cancelled my flight. During rebooking, Agoda agent made a date error that cost me 24 hours.
2. When I asked to fix THEIR mistake, Agoda demanded fare difference + penalty.
3. I filed a legal DSRR for the call recording to prove the error. Agoda promised it in “24-48hrs”. It’s been 3 days. Nothing.
4. They stall until your travel date so you’re forced to pay.
They profit from their own mistakes. They hide voice recordings because they know they’ll lose.
Book direct with airlines or use other trusted sites. Agoda acts like a leech: makes an error, then bleeds you with fees to fix it.
