Airport Tavern Reviews 

Avoid this Airport car park operator. Rude on arrival, I had a woman employee shout orders at me from a second floor window of this converted pub car park. The van transfer to the airport was covered in mud inside and out, as was my vehicle. We were also left waiting for 40 minutes to be picked up on our return. I should have read the reviews of this place before I paid and dropped the car off. I would pay a little extra from now on.

I chose the Airport tavern bristol to park my car for a week whike we were on holiday because it was very close to the airport and cheaper than most others.
When I drove into the parking area on 27th September I realised I'd made a mistake the gravel surface had lots of puddles and pot holes.
The mini bus used to take us to the airport was dirty inside and out not really fit to take people in tidy clothes going on holiday to the airport. The only positive at this stage was the transfer took less than 10 minutes.
On our return a week later on 4th October at 23 20 on a wet night I phoned the company to say we were waiting in the pick up area at the airport.
The mini bus arrived within 10 minutes and returned to parking pound at Airport tavern. This mini bus was clean and tidy.
On arrival at the car park which was quite well lit by the drop off area. I went to the little kiosk was dealt with promptly and told my car was around the back.
This area partially lit and the only way I could find my car was by pressing the key fob that turned my car lights. The car was parked about 70 yards away across the very wet surface with lot of puddles and pot holes the last thing you need on return from holiday at quarter to 00.45 in the dark.
I drove the car to the reception area to load our caese into the car. Which was quite well lit by a few spot lights. We noticed the car on passenger side was covered in dirty water splash marks and both foot Wells and sills were covered in muddy foot marks.
I should have complained there and then but because it was raining at this time all we wanted was to get home which was going to be a 1 and half our drive..

All ok dropping off the car, they don’t help load your cases on and off the mini bus so if you are an elderly couple and need a little help don’t use!
On the return had to wait ages to be picked up, no designated area so they collect wherever they can park…. Picked up my car from the car park and was caked in mud, it’s was dripping off my car. The inside had mud all over the floor, up the door….. looked like they had wheel spun it in a mud bath! Just had to pay for a valet, won’t be using again!!

Rubbish.
Waited ages in the rain for minibus from airport at 1am then got back to find car blocked in by other cars and had to wait while they fannied around moving cars around so we could leave.
Never again.

Don’t use these, we’ve used others in the area, but this one is a bunch of cowboys.
We dropped it off nice a clean Monday and picked up to today, the car looks like it’s been rallied, the wheel arch’s are full of mud, with mud all over the car, the windows even the roof was Covered, I went back to the office and I was told it had been raining, but he also told us the car had been washed, my reply was, want with. Ok the car was filthy and washed by Stevie Wonder, but Stevie must be using touch method for finding money, because a load of loose change was missing as well, so that will be the last time we use this car park again.

The company failed to collect and show up. They ignored the phone when being followed up.

Avoid ! It's an absolute sh1tshow! Rude staff! 55 minute wait to be collected! Car blocked in when we got back, mite be cheaper but rather pay double for good service!

It was the worst experience ever!
I left my car for a week to go on a short holiday, and it had about 60% battery charge. 3 days later, I got a notification that my battery was down to 20%, so I called the place to see what happened and they blamed me for leaving the lights on and said that they only park the cars. On my return, I was kept waiting in the rain in the middle of the night as their dirty minibus couldn't take more than 13 people at once. When, eventually, I got to the carpark, I was shocked to discover that my car was blocked in. It had a scratch on the wing, there was a 76 miles trip recorded while I was away. I went to check the footage my car recorded only to discover they went above and beyond and completely wiped out the memory of the 4 cameras in my car.
I was asked to call the next day to talk to somebody about the scratch. After about 50 attempts where the line was busy, when I managed to talk to somebody, she told me to call back in 10 minutes. I managed to beg her to take my name and number and pass it on to Derek, who apparently was in charge, but he never called back.
DO NOT USE!
These people need to be shut down!

To many bad things to go into PLEASE DO NOT use these fools absolutely disgusting place & people working there and drivers. The driver we used was not using his digital card when driving the mini bus which is illegal and reported to DVLA with photos

Arriving at carpark was fine, arriving back from holiday was a nightmare. We rang after collecting our luggage about 11.30 at night and was told bus was on its way, however when the bus arrived it quickly filled up and we had to wait for the 1 bus to return. When it did return we only just got on as he parked in a different place to the first time and people who had just arrived got on before us. When we arrived at the car park we had to wait for the receptionist to arrive to give the keys out. When we got the keys and got to the car it was blocked in by another car. We returned to reception who didn't know what car was blocking us in so we were expected to go back to our car to get the registration number of the car that was blocking us in. Back at reception we were then told we would have to wait for the mini bus driver to come back to move the car. Aswell as the receptionist there was also another man there but it "wasn't his job to move cars", as he wasn't driving the mini bus or moving cars don't know what his job was but he disappeared upstairs. From the time we arrived at airport carpark to leaving the airport tavern carpark took an hour, which at that time of night after traveling is not what you want.

Parked my new car at the tavern for a week my car was spotless going in filthy coming out put 50 miles on the clock disconnected the dash cam to avoid showing where they drove it .we had to walk from the airport to the tavern luckily it wasn't raining never use these cowboys again.

Absolutely disgusting service arrived back to find our car all scratched down one side evidence of driving through bushes probably down a country road and on the other side all white scuffs not sure what from,

When we went to reception and tried to inform the 2 guys one told us it was probably there when we got there, told us to never go back there and other said ‘it’s in the contract ‘ pretty sure damaging my vehicle was not ‘in the contract! ‘

Vehicle was also filthy inside I left it after having it valeted the week before!!!

Honestly for an extra £15 park at the airport it’s much safer!!!

I am going to ring the ombudsmen and my insurance luckily we took our fiat 500 and not our bigger car !!!!

Please do not stay here, your car WILL get damaged or driver or left filthy it’s honestly not worth it , read the other reviews I just wish I had paid more attention to them as people are not lying this business need shutting down

Both disappointed and disgusted at the behaviour of the drivers on both trips to the airport, witnessing horrid racial slurs on both occasions. Car was also muddy inside.

Used their parking facility when going on holiday. Called them when we returned to airport. They said a bus was on the carpark and another was on its way. When we got to car park there was no bus and as its only 5 mins to the car park we expected another bus any minute. Several calls and 40mins later the bus finally arrived but a queue had built on the other side of the car park and although we were there 1st the bus was now full and when my husband let the driver know of our dissatisfaction the driver swore at him in front of our children saying he didn't give a s#*t and told us to get on the bus. We squeezed onto the bus and stood up for the transfer, illegal I know but God knows when there would have been another bus. When we arrived at the carpark we complained again and asked for a manager but were told there was none and to call them later. When we arrived home I called the number we were given only to speak to the abusive driver we encountered earlier again! So in summary the car park was dirty and uneven and very run down with very poor dangerous access to the main road, the minibus driver was rude and his driving was appalling, the check in desk was managed by 1 person causing major delays for everyone. The minibus was also difficult to identify with just a piece of badly handwritten paper with the companies name, stuck to one of the windows. All staff are scruffy and couldn't care less. This is no way to run a business. Will never use them again. Would give zero stars if the system would allow.

If you are planning on going on holiday please never use BRISTOL AIRPORT TAVERN to park your car!

Unfortunately I made the mistake of accidentally leaving our euros in the car and only realised once we were on the plane, I called the car park to let them know as soon as we landed that we had done this and to make sure they were left there. The woman on the phone said that she would send someone to check my car and if we didn’t get a call back they would be safe and they were found, we never recieved a call so assumed our belongings were where we left them.

We flew home today and came to pick my car up and the ”manager” told me the money was never there then proceeded to lie and tell me he had watched someone call me to tell me it wasn’t there.

His response to our €1130 missing out of my car was why did we leave it behind? And how he never forgets his belongings and we should of come back to get it (we were in Greece) but not how I should be able to trust his staff to not steal my belongings out of my own property in the first place.

He then refused to show me any cctv, give me any names of people who had access to my car apart from himself or call the buisness owner infront of me to retrieve any of the footage he apparently toy could not see personally. His story changed multiple times with all the blame being pointed at me and repeatedly asking why I left it behind.

Please stay well clear of this so called buisness, it is run by nasty thieves.

Had screw in tyre on way to parking at this sham of a place. Had friend mechanic replace tyre and he left locking wheel nuts on seat. Someone from airport tavern stole the wheel nut etc so we now can’t get any tyres off and need garage to fix it. Their attitude stank did not want to know. They move cars around to other areas. Not insured they told me. So any damage etc is on vehicle owners. I’d never use them ever again. Pay the extra and park at airport or it could cost you a lot more. It’s a shambles

When dropping my car off I tried to pay using their card machine and it got declined twice but they still took the money. Ended up having to use someone else’s card. On returning to the uk we were eventually picked up by a mini bus / van and the driver just stood there and refused to help anyone with their luggage. I picked my car up pulled out of car park got half way across the road and it shut down completely. We were then stuck on a set of traffic lights on one of the busiest A roads in the country with cars and lorries whizzing pest us.
After a few hours we were recovered and my car was taken straight to the garage who had it for a few weeks.
It turned out rats had chewed through some of the wiring in the car connected to the fuel pump.
I would think twice about parking here when my partner phoned to talk to them about it the man on the other end got very aggressive and put the phone down. A very expensive parking experience.

Avoid!!!!! Car covered in mud. They've been driving it in port mode with traction control off. Fuel consumption was 3 times bigger then when I drove it. They start the car go as hell. If you car about your car avoid this parking for all cost

You get what you pay for.
Although the car did not have any damage, it was FILTHY dirty. My car is equipped with GPS so i could see exactly where it was parked for the duration of its stay. This unfortunately is not in the compound at the airport tavern, but in a field. Yes a field close by. The car was returned on time and I was dropped and collected from.the airport without and fuss. 2 stars given as I didn't have to cough up the £5 dropp off fees.
