Installation tech was wonderful but some hardware issues
Installation tech was wonderful, but equipment is a bit difficult to work with.
Touchpad has minimal calibration settings and took several tries to make it responsive, which lead several people to have trouble disarming the system.
Would also be nice to have better control over touchpad "keypress" volume, as even the lowest setting is quite loud (but silencing it completely is not an option given responsiveness issues)
Would also be nice for app/online users to be individually-identifiable so that I don't receive push notifications for my own arming/disarming of the system via app.

Great customer service - Needs additional alarm
Great customer service, everything works and was delivered as promised. When the alarm goes off I get a call within seconds. I wish they had an option for a louder alarm. If your outside the building you can't hear the little alarm on the key pad.
Service for installation was wonderful
Service for installation was wonderful. We had a time crunch and Alarmforce was able to meet the schedule. All contact with the company has been excellent.

The installer was incredibly unprofessional. Also had an attitude of it being a huge nuisance having to install the system. Did not give me a proper demo. Still not sure how to use the system.

I always appreciate their ability to come out to the site, take care of upgrades, problems and fixes and not charge. They're usually on site the same day or within 24 hours.
Sometimes I think we actually pay less per year than it costs for them to come out. (We've moved 4 times in 10 years and had multiple upgrades and visits)

Until a few months ago I was a customer of AlarmForce for 10 years; I sold my house to downsize. In my past experience, the security system remains with the home- this serves 2 purposes (for the new customer and for the security company). I left the AlarmForce system at the property and gave contact information to the new owner in the event they did not want to go with AlarmForce. I also informed AlarmForce of these developments. 3 months later AlarmForce is continuing to bill me for service/equipment; evidently the new owner chose not to have service with AlarmForce....I have had multiple conversation with Customer Service with no relief. I would not recommend AlarmForce.

At the present time our personal point of view on your company and the services you provide are very positive. Your staff are courteous and capable. We are so far, very happy with having AlarmForce provide us the security service. We now have peace of mind and have no reservations recommending your security systems to our family and friends. Very disappointed
Very disappointed with the lack of customer service and lack of maintenance service applied. Signed a 3year contract & changed company's at the end of my contract, due to multiple problems and no solutions ever to be resolved. 5 years and still get calls & emails, about wanting more money owed, when my contract is done and no longer wanted the alarm service, which we expressed multiple times on the phone and was neglected. Now we have an email saying we have to pay $200 to pay for the alarm system which we no longer have had for over a year. One of the customer
Service reps threatened us either to pay the invoice or will take us to collections. It's so disrespectful when we have paid our 3 years, we didn't get the service,which was promised to provide. We have been playing phone tag and still get emails saying we owe this dreadful company money, when we no longer wish to take part in any of your services no more. When will this stop!

Great service
After a few issues with the camera during the first month, things seem to have been resolved and working fine now. The quality of the camera is very good and so far we are happy with the system, We were with ADT for almost 13 years and the system was antiquated in comparison to the one that Alarm Force has installed at our house. Hopefully, it will give us many years of reliable service. We just wanted to upgrade to a system with a good camera and several of our neighbours already use Alarm Force, so we decided to switch to your company.

From the initial contact where I requested information on their products, to the eventual install. The Alarm Force staff are knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. They put the customer first, and are always available to answer any questions. Also, the equipment they provide is state of the art. I would recommend them to anyone.

The installer didn't know if you could …
The installer didn't know if you could and how to set up the door lock and automation "rules" to disarm the panel on entry. The contact on the back door wasn't connecting because there was too much space between the contactors and there was a service call very shortly after installation to move it. The installer didn't recommend camera location, just went with homeowner request which turns out to be poorly positioned, view is blocked by the parked cars, the homeowner ended up moving the camera to the opposite side of the house. Cameras buffer constantly, viewing live is very very choppy, and poor quality. Front door lock touch screen isn't working, second service call since installation a month ago.
