I bought some underlay that I later didnt need for my self build project. I asked if I could return the product. There was no quibble, in fact one of the directors organised it himself. I discovered a few weeks later that I needed more underlay to put under my oak floors and the same director rang me himself with advice on what to use. It is not often that you are 'staggered' by the level of service received; but I was. Thanks

The order was not delivered on the day following the day of ordering although payment had been processed.

One of the rolls of underlay was damaged and was odviously damaged before shipment as the manufactures tape was covering damaged areas.

Apart from that everything was OK.

Very easy to get what I needed quickly at a good price. Website was good on technical detail for a layperson such as me.

Product was as stated. Price was lower than competitors by a good margin. Had issues at point of purchase due to the page timing out - but this was my fault and the customer service team rectified swiftly, which ensured that the delivery was made on the date I required it. Choosing the right product was easy as the features and benefits were clearly set out.

The ordering and payment process were simple and streamlined. I loved the fact that I did not have to pay extra for next day delivery. The driver and his mate were friendly and efficient.

The product itself, Silentfloor, does exactly what it says on the tin. We have installed it under laminate and it really dulls the sound of your foot hitting the floor. It has enabled us to install a laminate floor in a flat where, normally, only carpet would have been acceptable to the freeholder.

Didn’t take long to order the underlay and it was here the next day!

According to the delivery driver, he just drives the truck - he`s not stacked it, but he did photo the damage as proof of the rips.
I don`t think the shop would sell it like this (or would hope not) so would suspect it`s the couriers, but it does reflect badly on the sale as a whole.

Having bought the underlay on a Monday evening, I promptly received an email on the Tuesday morning to say it had been dispatched. The dispatch message did state that it was expected to arrive the next working day, although it is possible that it may not arrive until two working days - for a working person this could cause much inconvenience and I felt that a more precise delivery slot could have been offered.

Come 4 pm the following day the delivery had still not arrived and, as I only had that day off to receive the order I was concerned that it may not be arriving. I called the customer service number to ask that they confirm my underlay was definitely going to be arriving that day, or if it was going to be delayed until the next working day. The lady advised me that they were very busy and therefore may not be able to find this out and get back to me, but they would try if they could. They never did.

Thankfully, my order did arrive an hour later. However, to tell your customer's (who pay your wages) that you are too busy to help them simply isn't good enough. This, combined with vague / uncertain delivery times was a dampener on what was otherwise a good service - a good, easy to use website, good quality underlay and a good price
