Really competitive quotes and excellent staff

I obtained travel insurance on 5-Sep and realised that I had made a mistake in the date - I was due to leave at 22:10 on 7 Sep while I had put in the departure date as 8 Sep (ie less than 2 hours later).
So I called AllClear within a couple hours of obtaining the insurance and after a very long wait was informed that this matter would have to be referred to the Technical Team who did not work at weekends and would let me know on Monday 7-Sep (the day of my actual travel) whether the date could be amended or not.
I called AllClear again the next day to request a change as it was not desirable for me to leave it till the last minute, but got the same answer. So I cancelled the insurance and went to another insurer.
I must mention that the staff were courteous and helpful but probably couldn’t change the date as it was not within their remit.
My only reason for giving two stars is AllClear’s rigid policy of not changing the date when I was travelling only two hours earlier. And I gave them more than 48 hours notice. It was done by another insurer immediately.

I called for a new policy this morning. The female agent who took my information was so helpful. I get anxious in case I miss out anything relevant. I like to go over all conditions in case it should be declared. This obviously is time consuming for the agent ( sorry I have forgotten her name. Began with Sh possibly. She never rushed me and talked me through the process.

Waw! What a positive experience! Was looking for holiday travel insurance for a motorcycle trip to Spain. Having tried many providers before hand, I went off a Facebook touring group recommendation and tried All Clear. Apart from a rather lengthy entrance spiel from a computer that nearly put me to sleep, the brilliant human being that I dealt with more than made up for it. Apologies to him, but I didn't get the name of the male operator and I'm sorry for that, as he deserved a mention. Previously I'd got an Internet only accessible quote from Carol Nash, one from my own insurer Bikesure, and a couple of others via Internet search engines, but All Clear came out with their Which magazine top rated gold cover at £27.98! The nearest competitor was £45. I even went through a few questions again with the operator to make sure the questions were covered correctly! Their cover covers all cc bikes as long as you have a license to ride that category. Many providers will only cover up to 125cc. Hopefully I won't need to write a review on claiming with this company, but I'd like to hope they would be equally as proficient if I did! Well done All Clear!

After taking my policy out last year renewing it this year with All Clear was a simple decision. The quote was less than last year which was great and that was for the same cover. Jessica the young lady I spoke too was very polite and professional and answered all of my questions which put my mind at rest. Thank you All Clear

Quick, efficient and not too expensive

I've just arranged travel insurance with AllClear. I was really pleased with how simple the whole process was. Nicola was an absolute star, going through everything in great detail whilst looking at the best policy to suit my needs. So friendly and helpful - despite having to evacuate when a fire alarm was activated - I can't speak highly enough of her. Very professional and very impressive. A real credit to AllClear. Thank you.
