This company is awful
This company is awful. Was told there was cameras so just needed to enter reg plate into machine and would tell you what to pay. Machine did not recognise reg plate when that was done. Spent 15 minutes working out what to do and eventually entered reg plate and told to enter time of arrival so had to guess when that was. Machine advised price to pay. Paid that, then got a ticket 2 weeks later stating I had underpaid with camera photos of entry and exit times even though machine didn't recognise reg. Looked at appeal process which could take 28 days for a reply after which fine would have cost £100 more. No opportunity to speak to someone just an online form. Paid fine as knew it was a Scam and no chance of winning appeal.
We were on holiday and parked in…
We were on holiday and parked in SeaView car park Polzeath.
We paid for 1 hour and put the ticket on the dashboard. We are very particular about this sort of thing. We bought a coffee on the beach and left the car park after 45 minutes.
3 days after we got home we received a £60 fine saying we hadn’t paid and we know we had although by this time we had thrown away the ticket.
The letter from Alliance confirmed we left after 45 minutes.
This company is a complete disgusting company extorting money all ways it can. We will never visit Polzeath again and Polzeath businesses should rally together and get this awful company out of the village.
Heartless Money-Grabbing
Paid for parking and spent a few minutes extra in a remote beach carpark in Cornwall on a cold wet day. These heartless money grabbing so-called service providers sent a fine for £100.
I have offered to pay another hour £1.50 I am waiting for a reply
Avoid
Pretty sure we paid - we always pay - and yet got no payment notice which is too much hassle/time consuming to appeal, fear is end up having to pay even more. Avoid
Awful company
Parked at Sea View in Polzeath have been sent a fine for overstaying despite paying for an extension on the app. Appeal rejected despite evidence I have paid for the parking and left 44 mins before it ended.
Modern Day Highwaymen
Drove into Polzeath sea view car park, couldn’t find a space, so drove out again. Took 3 minutes, tops. £100 fine for the pleasure of NOT being able to park. A devastating impact on our household budget and absolutely ‘computer says no’ approach to appeals. Disgraceful.
Absolute sharks
Absolute sharks. The time stamp on the pay and display ticket you get is a decoy to catch more drivers. Doesn’t matter how long it takes to park or get ticket. It’s done on entry and exit.
A fair company would charge with entering reg on departure and pay then . This set up is exploitation at its best.
This company ruins Cornwall and the poor locals probably no longer visit the beaches.
These are not cheap car parks in the first place. Now a £100 fine, £60 if I don’t kick up a fuss.
Read the reviews.
Clear and Prominent Signage?!
Supposedly has clear and prominent signage that the car park is ANPR controlled, even if you buy a pay and display ticket. Not worth spending your money in the shop to be stung by the underhand car park. Alliance Parking, and the owners who enable them, seem to revel in this lucrative arrangement.
Drove in and out was fined £100 reduced…
Drove in and out was fined £100 reduced to £60 if payed within 14 days, appealed was refused, no way of contacting them again as only once through appeal you can make contact I wanted to pay in parts but no one to talk too as no phone numbers??? Never left a negative review in my life but this is ridiculous
AVOID DAYMER BAY CAR PARK!!!
AVOID DAYMER BAY CAR PARK!!!! Absolute crooks, my stay was 10 minutes over, 5 mins to park and get to the machine and then 5 minutes at the end of the day as I was leaving. May as well have not paid for a ticket as I got charged anyway. Avoid parking in any car parks managed by this company.
WARNING!!
WARNING!!! Alliance Parking charge you from the time you enter to the time you leave using ANPR. They have ZERO tolerance for time taken to find a space or queing to purchase a ticket. Following a few days visit to Looe, I recieved 3 x £100 parking fines in the post for the reasons above. The appeals process is useless, they reject despite evidence of tickets purchased.
MoneySavingExpert and other sites have plenty of information on how ruthless this company is. I wish I'd known before using this car park. Be warned!
Unethical parking charges
Drove into the car park at Harlem beach, parked and went to find the machine. Paid & displayed for two hours and was back at the car in time. Didn’t realise they started the parking from minute you entered until you leave! We are pensioners so it took time getting all the beach stuff out and back in the car. Have received a penalty notice for overstaying! Never had this before. Daylight robbery.
Fined £60 for 12 minutes
Drove in to pick some keys up from my daughter who was parked there. Stayed 12 minutes fined £60 reduced from £100. I will never go near there again or use any of the traders who have their business in the car park. Absolutely shocking practice. And you wonder why people holiday abroad.
Common Theft. Appeal process is a waste of time !
Common Theft. Do not enter an alliance car park !!
Over stayed by 1 minute at Harlyn bay, unable to exit car park due to blocked road. Appealed... which was declined. Evidence they provided was incomplete and inaccurate. Paid fine to avoid further action, but will be pursuing legal claim with Alliance and Harlyn Estates (land owner)
East Looe Bullers Quay/Harbour carpark
East Looe Bullers Quay/Harbour carpark
Please be aware of NEW ANPR at this carpark (21/7/25) and read the new T&C as they do not appear online and are only on show once you enter. Alliance Parking also have their own T&C which I'd advise to read to avoid £100 fine. Local who avoids any carpark with Alliance Parking.
In a nutshell be aware they have a NO grace policy if you don't find a space but implement a 50p for the first 30 min charge You may get a fine. We have yet to see how they will implement this but given they don't follow their own professional standards on visible ID I'd expect some to appear in the post soon.
Be very careful parking and paying these CROOKS
Parked at Polzeath Beach, did unfortunantly go 6 min over getting out of car park, but that's worth an extra £60 to these CROOKS!
Disgusting practice of fines despite…
Disgusting practice of fines despite payment evidence. They reject any proof of payment saying they don't record the Reg number. If wind blows your ticket off the dashboard (which is likely given the location of many of their car parks) they will fine you and you will not be able to prove you paid. You have no chance to appeal. Absolute crooks and they know what they are doing!!!
Typical arrogant statement on the…
Typical arrogant statement on the company details stating that people only complain when disgruntled. Of course they are unhappy with the 'bully boy' attitude adopted by most car park enforcers and Alliance fit that description.
This parking company are Disability Discrimination

I feeling this company Disability Discrimination cos this company against Equality Act 2010 because I am deaf cos I cant phone this number ...
I have evidence to proof cos show them already pay ticket and I did explain note on Dash to explain I am deaf cos I cant phone parking company cos Alliance Parking UK ltd reject my appeal......
I feel they threat me to force me to pay fine because they threat me court cos I am deaf and struggle cos they say I will be criminal conviction and credit conviction .... cos it effect me my mortgage, bank loan also effect me my job career because Criminal conviction!!!!
Kafkaesque situation
Kafkaesque situation. Though I'd paid for parking in Porthtowan in Cornwall, and could prove it, I was fined for not displaying the ticket based it appears on no concrete evidence from them. The photo Alliance provided appears to show a ticket on the dashboard, but despite this and the evidence of payment, they declined my appeal with no further evidence - just their word against mind. Even if ticket was not seen by the warden surely the evidence of payment should be accepted. What a truly awful company. The council should use one of the more credible app offers such as Ringo and remove such a unpleasant company from its operations.
