Ordered £1000 of batteries and equipment, came the next day before 9am. Very efficient.

If, like me, you want a UPS to keep your freezers going in the event of a power cut, but aren't sure what you need, I cannot recommend Alpha-Batteries highly enough!
I found them on-line, exchanged info via emails, and then drove the 45 miles to their store to buy 2 Marine batteries: 150Ah each, a pure sine-wave inverter, and a smart battery charger.
They will take as much time as you want until you're happy you know what you want and what you're doing. My UPS is all setup and on standby.

A first class battery company. I ordered 2 x 130 aH AGM batteries for a marine application. The batteries arrived perfectly packed in under 24 hours. Excellent delivery service. The batteries both charged to over 13 volts and are in perfect condition.

First class service. Spoke to a young lady in sales and checked availability on a deep cycle battery. Not in stock but will contact you as expected stock arriving very soon. Two days later the lady called back and said the battery was now available. Paid the invoice and it was delivered next day. Fantastic service from staff to finish.

I bought a battery for my Mercedes GLA, and paid for next day delivery. Battery arrived next day mid-morning and was installed and working by lunchtime. Very good packaging, and a good price. I liked the number plate identification system to select the right battery. Top class service!

I placed a telephone order yesterday, with a very helpful lady. She said normal delivery was 2-3 days.... Battery arrived this morning!!

The measure of a business is not how well they do when things go well, it is how they do when things go wrong.

I had a problem with a battery I bought, and the unhesitating response was "We'll collect it, and get it tested". This happened, and within a reasonable time the battery distributor (Alpha being the reseller) had reported there was an issue, and that a replacement was on its way.

During this time Alpha kept on top of the process, and kept me informed with copies of their correspondence.

In the days of organisations hiding behind a list of unhelpful FAQs, and being completely devoid of any desire to communicate with customers especially over difficult issues, their inclusive approach speaks volumes to their business ethics.

I cannot recommend them highly enough, you will know that you can expect outstanding service if you buy your battery from Alpha batteries. We don't always need after-sales service, but knowing it will be there must sway any thoughts about where to buy a battery.

Ordered a new battery for my car. Good prices excellent delivery. Found out just in time that I had ordered the wrong one. The very helpful and friendly no nonsense response was brilliant. The first time I have used Alpha Batteries. Excellent service. Acknowledged my order by email and although I only used their standard delivery I had the battery monitor within 2 days.

John at Alpha Batteries has been exceedingly helpful in listening to what I wanted in a replacement motorhome habitation battery and was able to suggest an ideal replacement; he also took time to explain why alternative batteries others had suggested wouldn't live up to expectations.
The courier service was also faultless, item arrived within 24 hours even though I hadn't specified next day delivery.
