Sadly a 5 year guarantee for car battery is not actually a 5 year guarantee if it goes wrong after 4 and a half years. Wear and tear so no replacement. What a fool I was to think 5 year guarantee meant that.

Bought a 5 year battery for my Mercedies on November 2023 Now it's not holding its charge. Contacted ABS with all my details and battery test results from Halfords.
Was told that a battery that is not holding it's charge is not a fault, its just a problem that recharging the battery will solve. so when ifs flat in a week just recharge it again and again etc. So listen to the battery experts. You might get stuck somewhere so don't give the car to the wife just incase and just keep recharging that battery

Don't buy from this company, warranty is non existent. Bought a leisure battery from them, after a few months, my motor mover failed. I also have an 85w solar panel which kept my previous battery good for 5 years. Called motor mover engineer he condemned the battery. I bought another leisure battery from a different supplier, fitted and motor mover worked. I contacted Advanced Battery Supplies (ABS), they asked me to take battery to Kwik Fit to check it using their equipment. Kwik Fit tested and condemned the battery. Sent details to ABS, they said battery is fine, nothing wrong with it, they won't replace. Seems I'm not the only one that has had this issue with ABS.

Did not respect warranty. They requested battery test proof. When I provided battery test evidence which proving that battery is faulty, they said is wrong ! And battery is good.
Absolutely do not buy from them
I'm car engineer and mot tester for over 30 years. Abs batteries tries to convince me that I'm wrong.
Absolutely rubbish company.
And i see I'm not the first one who they try to scam. Charge the battery and will be good.

Next day delivery every time, I have 7 cars for reasons only known to myself! all have advanced batteries installed & I have never had an issue with these own label batteries! A couple are way out of their warranty period & are still as good as new! I was talking to their customer service people yesterday (Callum) about a battery for my Landrover & it was in my porch by lunchtime today! You can't do better than that! I would 100% recommend this company for all your automotive or leisure battery needs.

Scammers - spent £105 on a leisure battery which arrived not charged. I have been back & forth and they are now threating to void the warranty - read all the 1 start reviews - this seems to be their standard response to their issues!

Bought a couple of 110Ah batteries from ABS eighteen months ago. Delivery was excellent, and batteries were solid and reliable once installed.

Recently one battery developed a fault. ABS advised a few charge cycles and tests at home, to no avail. But no problem. They collected the faulty battery for their own tests a few days ago, and delivered a new unit this afternoon.

Purchased battery for my seat Ibiza 1.4 on march 2024 that came with 4 years warranty recently facing issue with battery not holding charge so I got in touch with abs batteries who told me my battery was fine just needed charged fine and well if things would hold charge I tried everything even got RAC to check he carried out checks and came back REPLACE BATTERY so got back in touch with these scammers with proof of this on report from RAC to be told that because it’s under 10.9volt my Warranty is void as mines was at 1.98

Battery wouldn't take any charge got told to charge it but it wouldn't take charge, then got told I needed to try several different types of chargers.
I'm a mechanic I know how to charge a battery the warranty is not a warranty he just fobs you off talking shit. His partner in crime young lad offered to return the Battery but the owner just kept fobbing me off. Shut PayPal dispute straight away he's a con man.
If you look at the picture it's him on his phone replying to all the complaints and shutting peoples PayPal cases down. AVOID!!!

I recently purchased a car battery from ABS for my MG ZS and was genuinely impressed by the speed of delivery and ease of ordering. The battery recommended for my vehicle arrived the very next day, well packaged and ready to install. Great value compared to other retailers. I’d recommend ABS for their fast service, good prices and product range.

Avoid like a plague!

Got a battery for my VW Golf in February and it died after only 4.5 months of normal usage. After reading reviews I suspect that they supply subpar product and therefore asked for a refund instead of replacement. They claim my battery might be still good. Well if it's good they take it back and refund me, why not? I spend 20min charging it and I have pictures and videos with timestamps if anyone would like to see them.
First of all your website recommended me this battery as fit for my car! You since updated the website cause it doesn't look like it looked before. Secondly even if it's not start stop I have start stop functionality always disabled as it's annoying. Don't you think 4.5 months it's way too short lifespan and this should be covered by warranty! I still stand by my opinion: avoid like a plague and do not trust them with your money!!!

Unsure about the car battery I needed, so contacted ABS and they advised. Ordered on 29th May (p.m.) and the correct battery arrived superbly packed the following day at noon.
Fantastic experience and would definitely use them next time.
Why is this level of service not the norm?

Nearly killed my family as the battery leaked gases and almost caught fire in my tourer with 3 young children. My wife and kids had to evacuate and get the warden

Bad battery, only few months old. Wasn't being used or charged.

Matching all of their online reviews, criminals wormed their way out of the 5 year warranty and got aggressive regarding reviews

Worst company I have every come across in the UK. Cardboard gangsters, happy to murder children for a couple of hundred pounds in their pocket

Had issues with two leisure batteries which were still under warranty. After spending hundreds of pounds in good faith, if you are after a reliable company who care about customers, take your business elsewhere. I would not recommend

I purchased a battery from these for around £170

6 months later it swelled up, got too hot and released gases which smelled like egg.

It lost 1v of charge overnight and they are claiming the battery is fine. They will not give it me in writing that it is safe in my leisure tourer with my 3 children.

I have had to buy a new battery to go away this weekend, purchase a multi tester and now buy packaging to have them collect and test.

Worst purchase I have made. The warranty means nothing. I've come to the end of my tether with them.
