Still no refund - Placed an order over £200

Placed an order over £200 - requested return and refund for a few items and one of them is still not being refunded. I've been sent a replacement item I didn't ask for, returned it, received no communications on refund status - once a month someone gets back to me, still no refund and now I'm told I'm outside the 30days?!? not what I've expected from Altura...

Can’t supply cycle shops with their clothing

Have bought Altura clothing before with no issues. Recently I have placed an order through an established cycle shop but after a few weeks they were unable to guarantee a delivery date, sighting supply issues from Altura. I cancelled that order and went to another established cycle shop and again they have been unable to deliver, again sighting supply issues from Altura. I’m not impatient but when there is no date for delivery available I’ll go elsewhere. So Im voting with my feet and moving away from Altura apparel as obviously they can’t provide a decent service to cycle outlets.

First class

I like Altura kit very much. It's high quality and good-looking at very reasonable prices. And customer service is excellent. I recently bought some kit that wasn't quite what I wanted - and then delayed in returning it (until I was too late to be able to do so per their terms). Wrote to them and got a very prompt and friendly reply inviting me to go ahead and return the goods for a full refund. Great to see a business that is big enough to behave...well, like other big businesses do...showing good old-fashioned responsiveness and customer focus of the kind you usually get only from much smaller concerns. First class.

Disappointing

No surprise that this cycling jacket was so reduced. It's designed for a woman with no flesh on their arms.
If this is the new improved returns service I dread to think what the old one was like. Still involves finding the 'contacts' link, sending an email, completing and printing a Google Sheets form (which could be sent with the item bought), and then generating the Royal Mail returns label. At least the reply to my email was swift

Excellent service from Altura

Prompt mail order service.
Good quality clothing, ideal for cycling.
Free returns service ( I had ordered 2 sizes for one of the items)
I will definitely be ordering more Altura products in the future.

DIre Quality and customer service

I was hopeful, poor quality product started to come apart after 3 rides, I returned them as defective just asking for a replacement, customer service was slow and they were evasive and un-helpful. Best I can hope for is refund (eventually) and that the tights last longer when worn !? (not hopeful)

Customer service don’t respond quick…

Customer service don’t respond quick enough cannot ring them or emails. Don’t respond take too long delivery service they use.Evri I just as bad cannot ring them automated service. Don’t get back to you and do not follow instructions both together they are a terrible service.

Impossible to amend or cancel an order…

Impossible to amend or cancel an order once placed, have to wait for delivery and then return.
After complaining they ammended my order

Not recommended

Bought 2 items which were delayed and thought lost with Evri, Altura sent me a second order.
The original order arrived at the same time.
I returned repeat order and 1 item of original order as it was wrong sizing…with a note explaining I needed refund on 1 original item.
This was 2 months ago. Several phone calls made and promises to refund but nothing yet.
Wish I’d read the reviews before buying. I’m down £60 and I’ll continue calling but I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from Altura

Altura Dryline 56 litre panniers

The panniers look great, click onto and off the rack easily and are just big enough for camping cycle touring. The taping inside fell apart (but Altura replaced them); until then they had been waterproof. Main weakness is the pockets if the panniers are full (which they will be if you are touring). I really like having external pockets, but the one in the lid becomes almost inaccessible (I preferred the old style which had that pocket on the outside of the lid). Unless the panniers are only lightly packed it's difficult to get anything into the side pockets (and if they are not fullish, then things fall out easily - zips preferred). Otherwise, a great set of panniers.

AVOID

AVOID. Poor quality even worse customer service.
Received item, zip broke immediately when trying on. Returned and refused refund as 'not resalable'! Unresponsive to queries apart from one sentence generic responses.
They then returned the product to me at my expense.
Clearly don't understand consumer rights protection. Wish Id read reviews before ordering.

Two reasons I won’t buy again from Altura.

Two reasons not to buy from this company. Cost of order about £30. Refund £23.

I ordered a women’s padded gilet in a size bigger than I need and it was still too small. So not impressed with that.

Then it cost me nearly £8 to return it for a refund. When I queried this they said “This is the Shipping cost and returns label …These are non refundable and are deducted from your credit,”

Plenty of other good sportswear supplier who offer free returns. Look for them.
