Delighted customer here :) I recently ordered a backpack, cycling jacket and a pair of ladies cycling tights from Altura. All three items arrived the next day. I'm thoroughly impressed with their quality. I'm wearing the tights now, they're soft, comfortable and feel like they'll be really durable. Extremely happy with my purchases and would definitely recommend.

Great products and good prices in the sale, but not the best service. No notification or tracking details when the goods are despatched but they were delivered promptly. Had to return an item as sizing information isn’t great and needed to order size up. Refund took over a week after Altura received the returned goods. I chased several times but it seems to be policy for them to wait at least 24 hours before replying to emails.

It took nearly 3 weeks to receive my order. After 2 weeks of waiting I asked for a full refund but my request was ignored. Dreadful customer service. Never again.

Very pleased with an Altura Cycling Jacket I bought from a cycle shop last year. Ordered another Cycling Jacket through the Altura website 26 November. Jacket was delivered 3rd December and was damaged with holes in the Jacket back. Return label provided and Jacket dispatched 7th December. Heard nothing from Altura after a week. Mailed on the 16th to check the Jacket had been received. Altura responded on the 21st asking for the return label number for the return label which they had provided. Altura offered a refund, I asked for a replacement. No response. The refund has been made. Really poor customer service. I will not be buying from Altura again.

I’m disgusted and appalled with Google. They continue to keep scammers on their pages.
I was scammed by Smile Collections some time ago. They kept popping up on Google, even when they changed their name to something like redass.
PayPal refused to follow up my complaint, because it was “paid - to an individual” . No! PayPal paid an individual, I paid a business.
I now shop locally.
I’m sick of scammers and the support they get from Google and PayPal. DISGUSTED!

This is a scam site DO NOT BUY from Here, they are linked to another site called balney.com which is in Bradford and also a Scamming site. Have contacted Visa and bank and they have little interest in sorting the scam. I ordered goods that never arrived, customer services at both companies is a mobile number that’s always turned off

Poor quality stitching which before use had started to come apart after trying it on.
Tried to reach out to customer service and was custard pied, not interested in their own Companies reputation or product. it was set up by a local millionaire thats probably why he is a millionaire and I am still poor.
I have 3 other pieces cycling clothing made by them. They have lost me won’t buy again .

I bought an Altura waterproof Cycling Jacket back in 2020.
It was a mid range item. The right side pocket zip failed after very little use and it was never really a good fit.
I returned it and was offered a full refund which I thought was about right.

Ordered jacket and gloves, never arrived. Emailed, they took a few days to reply and said looking into it. Had to chase them up, they don't have a tracking number still looking into it jacket no longer available, do I still want the gloves. Offered me 30% off future purchases. I asked if I could have the 30% off the gloves (now a month after original purchase seemed reasonable to me) but no. Never received my goods, took a month to refund me, very poor, never going to use the voucher code because I would never order from them again.

I bought the Nightvision Hurricane jacket direct from altura on sale, I was rather pleased with my purchace. After a couple of uses I tried to unbutton the top popper button and the button came away from the material. To my surprise there was nothing strengthening the material around the button so not surprising it slipped out like butter. I have found the return policy appalling, apart from this defect I like this coat but they refuse to replace the product. They said that they would refund me ... but remember that I said I bought this on sale, well that would then mean to get the coat replaced through them it would cost me £70, for a button. But if I fix it myself for (lets say) £5 then I will void my warranty. I would suggest spending more and going with a brand who cares about their customers.

I bought a pair of gel padded cycling leggings which arrived quickly. However when I put them on they are completely see through. I have spent weeks trading emails with them, continually having to chase for a response and their answer has been the tights are not meant to be worn with underwear - I’m not sure how that resolves the problem of a see through pair of leggings. It was also suggested that maybe other people can’t see they’re see through, just me which is laughable and ridiculous. The product team have apparently confirmed there’s no point in sending a replacement because the other tights would be the same which says a lot about the quality of the product. Completely unfit for purpose. After a month of emails I’ve been told to refer to the website to follow the returns procedure. That’s the extent of the customer service when the product is not fit for purpose. Please don’t waste your time and money.

I was given a pair of waterproof Night Vision trousers for cycling in late September 2017. Initially I liked them as they were easy to put on and pretty effective. I wore them maybe 30 times in the next two years, then I discovered there was a hole in the backside, the reinforcing strip had peeled away from the seam and some of the interior waterproofing was rubbed off. I contacted Altura, even sent them pictures, who told me I had to go back to the vendor Wiggle cycles. Wiggle told me i was past the two year period and they couldn't do anything. Altura are just hiding away from the fact that their product was not fit for purpose and refuse to engage in any dialogue. Advice: Avoid Altura

I purchased a pair of Altura Night Vision gloves approximately two years ago from Go Outdoors.
The gloves were put away and not used until recently because I already had winter gloves at the time of purchase and bought ahead when I saw the gloves and liked them.
The gloves are unfortunately unusable with the slightest hint of perspiration inside the finger area, if you need to take them off mid-ride.
Once you’ve taken them off your hands, it is virtually impossible to put them back in your hands until they dry out.
Altura were totally dismissive of my complaint and insist that you contact the original point of purchase to deal with the complaint.
Go Outdoors do not have details of my purchase and without the receipt cannot help.
The person I spoke to at Altura was lovely and only following Altura company policy.
I’d have expected Altura to have taken a bit more pride in their product and allowed me to return the gloves for inspection because they are faulty. But no. Not interested. Basically I’ve wasted £30.00.
As a result I will not use Altura again and would never recommend them.
Such a shame because I thought they were a decent company. Obviously not.

I am a big fan of the products but I'm hesitant to buy direct again after a long and drawn out customer support action over a missing delivery via courier DPD.
I ended up having to buy the product twice due to a dishonest courier or local resident, a lot of hassle over a discounted £10 pair of gloves.
Customer support was polite but not very helpful, putting the onus on DPD and myself.
I own many Altura products and had successfully made an order directly worth £55 through the site, and whist I ride a £3000 bike it seems Altura thinks I may be trying to scam them for a £10 pair of gloves all the while not considering dishonesty from a poor courier service.

Ordered long sleeve cycling jersey, arrived within a few days via dpd. Good looking Jersey with a nice feel and fit. Sizing chart good Iam approx 41 chest and the L was great. Have only worn it once in 8 degrees with baselayer and stayed cool for the 1hr ride. Price via Altura website 21.99 seems really good value.

Their water proof trousers were easily torn by contact with something, and I am unable to return a product I am not happy with. The default response being their was no manufacturing issue, so they were not warrantable. It did not matter that I was not pleased with the quality of the item I had paid for, and how quickly and easily it was damaged.
I was only offered money off a further purchase - which I was not interested in making.
