Customer Service is useless. Incompetent. I am a buyer but I'm also an independent author who have two books with KDP. I never log out of my amazon account on my laptop because I work in it every single day. So when I changed my phone number I wanted to go into settings, change it and carry on with my day. One particular day I noticed that I was logged out of my account and couldnt log back in because the OTC Verification goes to the old phone number. I called Amazon 7 different times and every last person was someone out of the country who (1) didnt understand nothing I was telling them and (2) told me they (customer service) didnt have the power to forward me to tech support and couldnt help me with my Kindle account. Instead, they sent me an email instructing me on how to log in. A billion dollar company and this is the best you can offer for customer service. HOW are you a billion dollar company with such lousy customer service?! I dug through my email and found a kindle publishing support email and explained my problem. I get a response stating that they dont accept incoming emails and sent links with Q&A how what you need to do if you are unhappy with your order. They have sent this same email to me over and over again. Something SO simple as having tech support override the OTC verification so I can get in. I am SICK of this company. They dont care about their customers but they love your money. I'm going to find a way to remove my books from Kindle Publishing and take my work elsewhere.
Hiding a long term contract in the purchase of goods!
The way they try to hide a long term Prime contract in the purchase of a product is close to criminal behaviour. These practises should be banned and made illegal. I warn all consumers to be very, very careful when you plan to order something from this website!
Customer service is useless
Half of the packages that should be delivered to Greece never arrive to the customer. Amazon customer service lies openly to its customers and they do not help. They promise they have contacted with the courier company, they don't. I ask for proof, they do not provide any. They tell me to contact their partners to see what is happening with the package. It's not my job, not my role. The packages return to amazon without a delivery attempt. Rude, arrogant, non existent customer service.
Let's start with this Amazon not only sells great household items but also great Motorcycle to Car&Truck parts from My Harley Davidson to my *Customers 4x4 transmission or Hybrids they got it!

I opened a account in Amazon for AUDIBLE (in addition to another account I used for ordering).
I registered a Gift card (for audible) and unfortunately lost my logging info.
My account was blocked after trying several times to connect.
Amazon denied to treat the case because there was no credit card on it and no order (of course.... it was a new account... there really are a bunch of buffoons).
So I lost my gift card.
Several calls to Amazon support was useless.
Conclusion : I deleted my other Amazon accounts (and AUDIBLE at the same time).
I'll no more order in Amazon (neither Audible).

I find Amazon a convenient and reliable shopping experience, using them frequently and receiving all my goods. I have removed 1 star because I want to urge Amazon to ban La Poste in France as a delivery courier. 90% of all packages don't get delivered and we have to collect them from the depot. La Poste do not even ring the bell in an attempt to deliver. So often now I consider using Amazon in France because of this inconvenience. I would add that all other Amazon couriers are excellent, so why do you suffer the horrific La Poste, that are damaging your reputation?

Amazon.fr and their customer service is the worst i had to deal with in my 43 years old life. They kept rescheduling the shipment of the book I bought for 1 year and 2 months just to finally cancel! Customer service told me it's a system error and I that no one was stopping from buying eleswere. I have no idea where they find emplyees, but no more Amazpn.fr for me for sure.

Re ordered gave them delivery instructions to deliver to next door, get a message saying delivered left with Shawn??? No house number nothing. Now I have to go door knocking to find out who Shawn is! I bought a valuable item from Amazon as it was the best price and I thought I could trust them as a company. However, they were beyond uselss. To begin, the item that I ordered for next day delivery failed to arrive. It wasn’t until 2100 that I had a notification telling me the parcel was delayed, but the delay was 10 days. After another week of waiting and not having any update to my parcel, I contacted customer service and a replacement was sent to me.
After waiting in all day for a second time, I received a message telling me they had attempted delivery but no one was home, despite me being in the house. I have a Ring video doorbell, and no one came to the house. They then re-sent the item the next day, which arrived in the afternoon.
However, on opening the box, the high value item had been replaced with material, meaning someone in the Amazon depot had evidently stolen the item I had ordered and resealed the box. It was very difficult to get the customer service to understand what my problem was, and the order still shows as ‘delivered successfully’ despite me refusing the item due to it not being correct and sending it back with the delivery driver.
Basically, you cannot trust them with anything that’s valued over €20, so use another store as you cannot trust Amazon.

Delivery recurrent nightmare, no customer support
Two parcels delivered in unsecured locations in two days, both parcels stolen before we could get to them. Customer service offer nothing but an 2 day investigation. The same problem last year with a €69 backpack for the start of school, the "2 day" investigation is still open, no reimbursement and no feedback.

They use unreliable parcel delivery companies. The agents are nice and try to help but their abilities to sort out delivery problems are limited. Therefore, this puts me off from ordering again.

Quite sad about the delivery method used in France, they cannot leave the package anywhere but they have to deliver it to you personally. Some delivery people are legit but some are a bit more random I feel like. If you work full time it's a pain to receive the package if you are not getting it delivered to your workplace. I had much better experience in different companies with amazon.
