Honestly, this was one of the most frustrating shopping experiences at Amsons Coventry road Birmingham I’ve had in a while. The store looked promising from the outside for a large Islamic store, but inside was a different story. I bought a thobe/Jubba just before Eid day 2025 relatively expensive and wasn’t expecting the quality of the material until on the Eid day 3 of the button fastener came off easily and it wasn’t my fault it was a really poor manufacturing defect. So, after Eid I returned to the store for an exchange or a refund. But however, to top it off, the staff seemed completely rude uninterested and poor customer service. No greetings, no offers to help just standing around on their phones and trying to bog me off they were probably the owners on the checkout. When I finally asked a question, I got a half-hearted response like I was interrupting something more important. This was sickening.
I don’t plan on going back there ever again. I would have given zero star. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there.

I ordered items for Eid a few days before the end of Ramadan. There was an issue with one of the items I ordered and I also chose the wrong size in another of the items. The store attempted to contact me by phone but unfortunately I didn’t get the call. The following day they contacted me via email. I responded and I was given a call immediately. The brother I spoke to explained the issue and helped me choose the correct items. They also sent it to me next day at a cost to themselves. We had a phenomenal experience with this Islamic shop! They went above and beyond to help us send a beautifully personalized gift from the Netherlands to our dear friend in the UK during Eid. From the very beginning, their staff was incredibly accommodating, guiding us through every step to make sure our package was wrapped perfectly and delivered on time. Ordered zamzam water on 27th March and paid extra (48 hour delivery) hoping it would be sent out 28th March - 48 hours would be by 31st March, taking the weekend into account. Standard delivery date was 2nd April at a lower postage cost but that was too late for me, I wanted it earlier. It arrived on 2nd April, so I assume it was posted as standard delivery. If you're willing to screw delivery times to earn an extra £2, I'm dubious if you actually sell authentic zamzam water. Trust is everything in customer service.

Ordered a book for my niece for Eid, paying extra for 24 hour delivery. The following day it hadn't arrived. Amsons told me it was because the Courier wasn't open on weekends. I told them that nowhere on their website does it say their delivery options are weekend specific and if their couriers do not work those days, it should be advertised as such when ordering. I asked if I could be refunded the delivery fee as it hadn't showed up on time. Instead they cancelled the entire order and asked me to order it again for collection, with a note explaining what had happened. I asked if this would result in the product being delivered the next day, as the suggestion didn't really make sense. I was told yes, now another two days later it still hasn't been delivered. The tracking function on their website isn't working, and nobody is responding to their chat-function anymore either. No product arrival, no communication, but the money still missing from my account with a whole bunch of time wasted doing admin. Overrall a very poor experience.
Update: They've now inexplicably cancelled my order without bothering to explain why.
Further Update in response to the comment from Amsons: Unfortunately it is too late, I have now ordered from somewhere else, I honestly think it's abit cheeky still trying to find a way to sell the product nearly four weeks later.

Ordered my abayas for Eid and it was delivered next day. Customer service was fantastic. There was a little spot on one abaya and they gave me a free gift. I had a very good experience and would be ordering again!

Will not accepect refunds however sizing may me be different and exchanging is crucial .Amsons in Bradford Will not exchange sales items - will get very shirty about any sort of exchange . Feels like your placed on trial at court . Lacks good custumer care , staff are respectful but that still leaves me out of pocket . Shame on a big businees with poor refund and exchange policy .
Shame . Think twice before stepping foot in this place please .

Absolutely brilliant service ,I made a mistake with my order for home delivery I called amsons customer service and spoke to Abbas who got this resolved for me very quickly and the hamper was delivered within a couple of hours.
Great customer service keep up the great work Abbas.

I ordered a present a week from Christmas, a perfume that was sold out everywhere else, from Amsons. I called the next day to find out if I would receive it in time. Saad picked up the phone straight away, was aware of the order, and kindly assured me it would be with the the following day. It was.

I ordered umrah mubarak hampers online. Although they didn't have the ones that I wanted in stock, they did their best to accommodate and give me good alternatives. And very courteous with delivery. The recipients loved their hampers.
